Maxed out the new Asus 1000 EEE laptop. Memory often helps factors run smoother. No compatability complications, ran Memtest for 24 hours devoid of error. None. It wasn't cost-free, but it certainly aids the Atom CPU to have two gig of memory as an alternative of 1 gig.

Operates with my Mac Mini (Core 2 Duo). None. I can't get total 4GB due to the Mini's address limitations. This is Apple's fault, not Kingston's.

I felt like upgrading my Asus eee 901 to have added ram. I read in a handful of locations that this brand and specific model worked, so I went for it. It does work. It's good and really affordable for the size. I don\'t forget paying a hundred bucks for a a single gig stick of DDR ram for a desktop. I really feel old... It wasn't totally free? Hasn't solved globe hunger but? I could go on complaining unreasonably, but this RAM has fulfilled all of my realistic expectations.

* Operates 100% in my MacBook Pro two, two.* Common JEDEC speeds, timings, and voltage.* It gets along fine with the 1GB stick it originally came with (Nanya), so I have 3GB total.* An overnight MemTest86+ showed errors.* Low-cost.* Unpretentious. None. * The chips are Hyundai HYMP125S64CP8-S6 (Per Speccy).* The SPD really lists a DDR2-800ǜ-6-6-18 timing as properly. I'm only able to test at 667.* Memtest86 essentially reports a slightly greater bandwidth to this module than my 1GB module, even though all the timings are identical... I'm not sure why.I began getting Kingston ValueRam for all of my computers a couple of years ago, and *every time* I use it, it operates the very first time, with no BIOS fiddling or conflicts or other hassles.

NO troubles inserting and running in my ASUS eeePC - yes I know I have wasted horsepower (the eeePC only wants RAM 4200 this is 5300.) It was inexpensive and from a very good brand. Why is there so significantly packaging for bare electronic elements?? I don't need to have the excessive plastic. I recycle it but jeeessh! This is not particularly a complaint about this item of course. Ride the low expense RAM wave though we can.

Easy upgrade. biggest bang for the buck. In the Asus EeePC 900 (or any other single slot machine for that matter), requires removal and discarding of the original memory card. Upgraded two Asus 900 Eee Pc's (Linux based) from 512 Megs of ram to 2 Gigs of ram. Stops all the swapping of memory back to the SSD drive though you are trying to browse the Net or working with many applications at the same time. This is the overall performance booster that turns this 'toy' into a 'real machine' and makes the netbook truly "fly".If you have a Asus 900 Eee Pc netbook with 512 Megs of RAM, this is a really very good and somewhat straightforward upgrade.I like the upgrade so considerably that I just ordered a 3rd chip to install in my daughter's netbook. As a side note, I also recommend replacing the stock Linux (or Windows for that matter) with Eeebuntu version 3 which is a nicely polished and very slick operating process written specifically for the Asus line of netbooks.

Effortless to use, very good item packaging, superb value and seems to perform well. None, depending on longevity. I bought this to try to address two issues with my wife's Pavilion: possible memory dilemma with the OEM memory, and of course add far more RAM. The laptop sees the additional GB (won't see the other until I move to 64-bit) and turned in memory speeds equal to the original. The other issue of "faulty" hardware, per Vista, I'll nonetheless have to track down. Not Kingston's problem.
