Installed to a laptop that came with MS Vista and 1GB RAM. I knew going in to the purchase that it would be sluggish but on 1GB Vista is useless. A RAM upgrade is a need to. None. I wonder how much RAM will be necessary for Windows 7.

Cons:none so far, will update  if any appear

Pros:It works in mid 2007 iMac (iMac 7.1)Reasonable PriceWorked with different manufacturer 2GB Module
Comment:
I had 3Gb of Ram in my imac. I just pulled the original 1GB module and put this one in. Worked fine, no issues, booted normally.Went to APPLE ICON --- about this mac 4GB RAM installed :o)Would recommend as this type of ram seems to be getting increasingly in shorter supply as newer RAM hits market

Popped it in my laptop and there you go!! Works great! My laptop reads only 3 gigs instead of 4 but it takes only 3 ... even if the papers says 4 ?? Has absolutely nothing to do with the item or Newegg. Newegg is just outstanding. This is my second order with them and rock! Delivery packaging, price! Every thing is excellent. Dealing with Newegg is a freaking excellent ebuying expertise!

It does the job and makes me feel my laptop reads faster. The price and the size is right on the spot for individuals searching to upgrade their Vista laptops from a trust brand. For the duration of my installation, this ram seems don't like the board on my Acer Aspire 5100. I had to boot several times to let the board to choose up and get going.

Purchased 3 of these. 2 for my laptop, improve from 2gb to 4gb. Certainly makes Vista significantly far more bearable. 1 in my netbook, and 1gb to 2gb makes it fly. None I bought them when they were ว... So maybe wait for a sale?

Quick, trustworthy, great upgrade to a laptop that only came with a single 1 GB stick in 1 slot. Haven't identified any but. It is a lot more affordable to buy a new personal computer with the lowest amount of RAM achievable and upgrade it yourself, particularly with excellent parts and costs from Newegg.

Kingston 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory
Cons: None so far

Pros: Stable2 GB in a tiny stickRelatively cheapWorks with the Supermicro X7SPA line of boards
Comment:
I'm mainly writing this review to tell those that are considering the purchase of the Supermicro X7SPA ITX line of motehrboards that this memory works fine with them even though it's not on Supermicro's approved memory list. That's good because Supermicro's approved memory list is PATHETICALLY small. With this board, some RAM simply won't work but now you can buy this fine Kingston product with confidence. The X7SPA-HF booted up without complaint, detected the entire 2 GB, and now I'm running memtest86 with no errors reported.Great RAM that I would recommend to anybody.
