Comment:
This smaller package was a real eye opener.. great cost and wonderful performance. This is a fantastic alternative for older machines that everyone wants to bring up to date and not devote 600.00 for a new machine.! The performance with windows XP was Wonderful! would have liked to have observed 1 PCI-EX x16 slot that would have been fantastic

Functional, and Linux reports 2016 MB of memory, which is only a little much less than the binary two gigs 񢊀 MB) It was a little difficult finding into my motherboard. That just means it's secure, though. :) It's RAM. It works. I'd suggest it to any person.

I bought the wrong speed. I needed 800Mhz but it did come in handy for my aunts computer. Her computer is a Dell which it is hard to find RAM that will work. Had no problems with them working.

bought 1 stick of this for my parents friends computer running a Compaq SR5050NX (Pentium D 925). Upgraded from 1GB to 3GB, made a huge difference for Vista Home Premium 32bit.Would have bought more if it was for me, but then again I would have put Windows 7 on as well.Recommended for older machines if no overclocking.

Comment:
Fantastic cost and value. Worked proper away on boot up in a HP Media Center m7170n. I'm utilizing it along with the program's orignal 2x 512mb sticks generating total accessible memory 3 gb. None so far. It's physically half the size of typical memory sticks, if not smaller. It's just a little weird for me, I'm not used to such smaller memory. (It's about 1 cm tall!!!) When the clips hold the memory in location, you virtually can't tell it's even in there.

This memory does the job. It is very small and fits nicely into the RAM slot. The fact that it does not have a lot of extra size means that it lends itself well to cable management too!

Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory - Retail
Cons: Only half height

Pros: Great Value for the price
Comment:
I bought this RAM to update  a friends PC. For the price it is worth it, however it is only half height ram. I felt it was kind of hard to put in the PC as I had to apply allot of pressure to get it to snap in which made me a little uncomfortable as I do not like applying that much for to a motherboard.

Cons:Not great timings, feels cheap.

Pros:Inexpensive in todays market, trusted brand.
Comment:
For a computer that needs a little more performance in multi-tasking with Windows 7/Vista, grab this! For most who are not building a high end computer, thus are using DDR2; just the amount of RAM will be a great help. Don't expect miracles, but definitely do yourself the favour. As always, Kingston will take care of you if anything does go wrong. Sometimes name brands are a good thing.Cheers
