Newegg Consumer Service was quite responsive in setting up my refund for this obtain. Memory will not work in my Dell 1100 Laptop. I wish I had noticed the current reviews relating to this issue, but I ordered according to the Memory Configurator and it must be incorrect, or the memory is NG. I will have to try some other brand.

No problems so far. No cons however. Price tag went down alot following I got it and Vista came out but it functions out due to the fact now I'm paying an other one for the mt slot.

Fantastic Newegg service! Lightning fast delivery. Although they were the very same specs as my Dell Inspiron 8200, the memory did not work. Memory was not compatible with a Dell Inispiron 8200.

Works flawlessly with my Toshiba A10-S169. This is the closest match to what Toshiba recommends on their web page. Laptop feels like it grew new legs. None after 3 weeks of use. Memory is still high-priced for 3+ year old laptops. Good for bringing new life to an aging laptop. Have Vista Ultimate running with no problems now. I would advocate this memory for an end of life upgrade to an aging machine. Seagate 7200rpm HDD is subsequent.

Installed 2 of these in my Gateway DS 600S over a year ago and was in a position to play Civ 4 on that laptop. Still working great. None! Some of the newer games run a little slow, but that's simply because of the processor and the video card.

Removed old ram, installed two of these, put the cover back on, booted laptop. Everything worked, took ~ 10 minutes to install. Passed MemTest for ~ 12 hours. Installed on Dell Latitude C840. None.

This kingston ram 512 mb works extremely effectively and its stability is beyond our expectation. Its cost is extremely reasonable!!! Due to the fact of it, I did not have to acquire new laptop, instead successfully upgraded my old laptop!!! Not a lot other than a good cost and shipping... Does not function with the HP Pavilion ze4610us. The Newegg memory configurator incorrectly specified this as compatible. Verify with Kingston ahead of buying. Newegg refunded the invest in.

It worked in Dell Inspiron 1150 I had in the shop for another consumer so I luckily didn't have to return it. It simply does not perform in an HP ze4430us as was described in a different review. The on/off power scenario developed and acquiring the old RAM to perform once again needed pushing the BIOS reset on the bottom of the laptop for a very long time. It was scary. My initial believed was that it blew the mainboard! Newegg need to remove this from the HP ZE4000 series area of their configurator.

Kingston makes fantastic stuff, we all know. I applied your memory configuration utility to locate memory that would work in my HP/Compaq NC4000 Company Notebook. Initial I ordered a 1gb stick, my order number 27764689. That 1 was listed, but was not compatible. Subsequent I ordered two 512mb sticks, my order number 27915287. That component number was also listed by your memory configuration utility, but neither of those worked, either. I'm being charged a restocking fee on each items I'm returning. I really feel this is wrong of you, when your own system showed those two items as getting compatible with my notebook.

Low-cost, considerably required upgrade for my lappy, dropped proper in, fired proper up, no issues so far. None. At the price, wish my lappy would hold more of this stuff, it was given to me, kinda old, so cant definitely complain significantly about free of charge.

This is a fantastic acquire for an old computer system and truly speeds up the method. Simple to install, technique reads it from the beginning. pricey compaired to other ram on the site, but if your pc doesn't support any greater than i guess you have to. Put it in an old Dell Inspiron 1100 than only had 128mb ram when i got it. Now instead of taking 15 minutes to turn on it is now 30 seconds. Don't run XP on 128mb of ram lol.

I wanted to upgrade memory on my Toshiba Laptop from 512 to 1GB. Given that my laptop is 5 yr old it can manage only PC2100 sort mem. Newegg consumer service offered me links to study the correct sort prior to i ordered. Also the price is the lowest amongst several web sites I looked up for the Kingston memory. I am pleased with the buy. I received the shipment in three days as gauranteed. Upon installing the mem, laptop booted ok and showed no sign of mem error. none

Extremely reasonable cost. Super straightforward installation. Great efficiency. Honestly can't feel of 1. After my usual consultant struck out with higher-priced components that didn't work in my Thinkpad T30, I bought this memory module. Held my breath, wondering if it would boot up OK.
