I upgraded from 2GB to 4GB and it was a noticeable difference right from startup. I commonly have a min of 6-ten applications open at the moment; Adobe Suite, iTunes, FTP app, Mail, iCal, and so on. I adore the Kingston brand. It's worked with great reliabilty. I bought this item to upgrade a new Toshiba Laptop. It has Vista, so it only shows three.37 GB Ram, though I installed 4GB. This is a Vista situation, not Kingston or Toshiba. Even still the laptop runs fantastic. Non that I can consider of.

Solid memory with excellent reputation, operates flawlessly in my new ThinkPad T61P, and at hundreds less than it would have price by way of Lenovo. Excellent packaging from a skilled, leading memory manufacturer. Had it up and operating inside minutes with no troubles. I didn't understand going from 1GB to 4GB could truly SLOW bootup due to posting so substantially additional memory. Even so, it cleared up most of my sluggish Vista overall performance. I didn't anticipate it to carry out wonderfully under 1GB, but how poorly it performed was truly kind of scary. Upgraded my laptop from two gigs, and now it is smokin fast! Zero lag in BF2, COD4, and Crysis. I am really pleased with the performance of this memory, now I hope the longevity of this item will equal the overall performance, but only time will tell. Absolutely nothing can be said better about Newegg's service. I am in the Air Force stationed in Germany, and this item arrived in my mailbox in below 6 days! Fantastic! Fantastic upgrade to two gig on my Area-51 laptop motherboard would not take the full four gig upgrade runing 32 bit vista it would have been good to have the added bump. I improvided and upgraded my wifes laptop with the 2 gig stick slapping the left over 512's in to get the 2.5 on every system they each run excellent. None

The RAM shows up in Max OSX ten.five as 4GB at DDR2-667MHz just fine. Runs smoothly and doesn't cause applications to randomly close. The stability of the program is ideal. Purchased this product for the name and the reviews. Popped in memory booted up and definitely no probs. Delivery was wonderful contemplating I'm in Kuwait, and packaging was alittle overkill but that isn't something to complain about. Noticeably more rapidly with no "lag" in among switching tasks. effortless to install with out reading any instruction.just got a DELL XPS M1330 notebook with 2GB running Vista Ultimate. so upgrade it to 4GB and it's running fine. technique show three.5GB now. i notice the improvement in speed. none would recommend user to upgrade if you are running Vista.

Exceptional compatibility, reliability, quick... Glad I got it at the sale value. Wouldn't mind a lower cost ;) Works perfectly in an aluminum iMac 20" - all 4GB readily available to OSX Leopard. Windows ࿀ bit) of course only sees less, but that is a Windows limitation. Memory passes all tests and works flawlessly.

Affordable, wonderful capacity, fairly quick for laptop memory. I'm hungry... Functions great in my Acer 5050, vista premium boots substantially quicker, and I can run Photoshop, Lightroom, Firefox, Thunderbird, and WMP all at the very same time with no hang ups, even with Aero. functions really excellent in my new Gateway.I ordered a new laptop and ordered this memory at the identical time.it come in the mail the similar day my laptop or computer was delivered. not any my laptop come with 2gb BUT vista is a memory hog so this helped alot.it reads in the Bios and the OS to 4gb.it made me incredibly content that it did not only read like some computers only 3gb.if you have a Gateway this memory functions incredibly nicely with Gateway.
