I Like the Price tag! Second greatest thing was the speed boost from only 1 stick. Didn't operate on my laptop so I installed them in a friends and all four gigs worked as opposed to mine exactly where only one stick would boot up. My laptop wouldn't boot this. It's an Alienware junk pile. Anyways it was put in my buddies troubles solved...For him. LOL. anyway I don't genuinely thoughts his laptop runs a lot much better mine don't. Newegg shipped pretty quick though didn't even come to my door they just put some notice on the front like I wasn't residence. I have a new gateway that come with 2 gb.I put these in and it shows up in the Bios and OS 4gb.I could not be happier. not any I have a vista OS that eats up the memory. and my old 2gb did not meen that a lot.this 4gb seriously helped. I would order this once again it functions excellent and speeds up my laptop.

I bought this RAM for my mother's laptop. She was operating Vista ࿀-bit Property version) on 512MB of RAM. Her computer system was so sluggish she could challenging browse the web. This RAM upgrade drastically improved her laptop knowledge. For her it was like getting a brand new laptop compared to what she had previously. The laptop recognized all 4GB immediately without having troubles. None so far. The laptop is a Gateway circa 2007.

Kingston ram, by no means got 1 doa, worked fine in my ASUS F3KA Laptop I got here on newegg. Vista Ram score is now 5.9 on vista residence premium. Improved performance of all of my games drasticly more than the 2gigs of off brand memory. none, it didnt come with a fan club form? :) overall excellent ram, My laptop picked it up on very first boots and no challenge given that. rapidly and dependable and fit into the memory banks on my laptop with ease. five stars and well worth the cash. I run Kingston Hyper X in my desktop units and so I went with the Kingston brand for my new gamming laptop. So glad I did!Laptop sepcs: Turion 64x2 TL-60 2.0ghz, this 4 gig ram kit,200 gig sata tough drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 512mb. all I need to have to do now is get a 7200 rpm challenging drive for this laptop and its superior to go.

Went in fast and it is kingston.Brought my defrag time down to half. Windows vista property pro with this comp shows three.37 gbs of ram out of 2 2gb chips = 4gb.It does seem to hang every single once in even though during boot exactly where it did not with the 1 gb stock ram. Wonder why it came with broken seal and pencil writing on chips saying excellent believed i bought new ram not utilized or refurb but then its newegg also.

I installed both sticks in my ASUS G2S-B1. Works flawlessly. DDR2 SODIMM's could be more quickly but i'm not gonna complain too considerably. Even although it was only a 1 gigabyte boost from the two gigs that came in the laptop (due to windows 32-bit ram limitation) I saw a significant efficiency enhance. With a browser, video editing software, photo editing software program, 3d cad software, and a low resource video game running simultaneously, i had no method lag. That's saying something.

Works quite properly with my Toshiba M400 Tablet PC. I installed it, and it now shows 4GB of physical memory in method info. I bought this mainly because other reviewers had mentioned that it worked in their Toshiba laptops, and the price was good. None so far!

Price Tried to install each 2Gb memory cards and as a total, 4Gb would not boot. I took 1 out, leaving in the iMac original, and it booted up fine, albeit at a total of 3Gb. Will be returning to find a diverse brand or model that will hopefully be compatible so I can get the total 4Gb max out of my iMac.

Terrific cost! Works just fine so far in my 15" MacBook pro 2.4GhzOS X reports 4GB and Windows reports 3GB (boot camp limitation) which is what it should be. Can't believe of any.

I purchased this RAM to replace the RAM that came with my 15'' MacBook Pro. I went from 2GB to 4GB. I can run numerous applications at when such as Photoshop CS3, GarageBand, Soundtrack Pro, Firefox, MacMail, and so on. without any issues. All of these applications load incredibly quick, don't cause my method to slow down, and run very efficiently. This is an insanely obvious option to the crazy high priced RAM that Apple tries to sell. It is just as quickly, and incredibly easy to install. And if you are worried about touching the insides of your laptop you could just have a buddy do it for you. Do NOT take it to Geek squad or anything like that mainly because they will rob you with installation charges. Putting this in is as uncomplicated as taking the battery out, unscrewing three screws, and then taking the old RAM out and then putting it back together. It took me much less than five minutes, and thats simply because I had to come across a screwdriver smaller sufficient to get inside. None Again, do NOT purchase the Apple RAM. This is considerably less expensive and just as excellent. Installation is a breeze. And at this cost, this RAM is a no brainer. I ordered it with standard shipping and it was at my house in 2 days. Awesome speed as usual from newegg. You will not be disappointed with this product. Also, if you are upgrading your existing RAM you will have to entirely replace it, because the laptop only accepts two sticks of RAM.

But Vista Property Premium 32-bit only utilizes 3GB. Weird huh? I purchased this RAM for the Toshiba Satellite A215 for two reasons; 1) My Dad stated his laptop was going to slow and 2) the G.Skill ram does not function with the A215!!! Just an FYI if you have the same laptop.

The RAM that worked is just fine and my machine is noticeably faster. 1 of the sticks was dead on arrival so I had to return it. No big deal but returning points is a bit of a hassle. Upgraded Toshiba Satellite A215-S4697 from 1 gig to 4 gig. No complications. Popped out the old, popped in the new. Instant noticeable improvement in speed, even with my web activities. None, except what do I do with the old RAM?

arrived on time and was effortless to install; kingston customer tech support was very excellent. I have a white Macbook 13" and though this RAM is supposedly compatible it didn't function correctly. I was able to install each and every 1 individually with 1 of my original RAM cards and it would function fine but if I installed both my method would not boot (black screen/no startup). I referred to as Kingston tech support and they recommonded trying a unique model of RAM for far better compatibility. in macbooks these RAM are sorta tough to get seated correctly, make sure to push it in additional hard to get it in all the way.
