Just what I needed
Comment:
I'm not a hardcore tech, but for me this works great. The device was extremely easy to set up and I've had no problem. I've used it separately to connect an older PC and my Sony blu-ray to my home network. I will probably buy another.

Works
Comment:
Works fine. Speed shows only 12.5Mbps thru the Linksys WRT400N 5Ghz band, but that's about the size of the pipe comming in from the cable network. Streaming video to the blueray is flawless so far. No pauses or interruptions.

Provides Wireless Connection Easily As Advertized
Comment:
I purchased the Linksys WET610N to connect my HDTV to the internet for firmware updates and optionally to my bluray player. Setup was easy provided you carefully follow the directions. Since my home network is password-protected, I connected the WET to my Linksys WAP and ran the CD. It is important that you do not disconnect the NET until directed to do so and then immediately connect it to the new device (HDTV).

Easy WiFi for gaming and desktop connectivity
Comment:
I recently purchased two WET610N bridges for two different applications. Bought a new slim shell computer for our 8-year old and the new computer didn't have a slot for the wireless NIC I bought for the old computer and I wanted to move the PS3 into another room. I used WiFi Protected Setup to connect to my WRT160N router and I was sync'd up in no time. Have not had any issues with either the computer or my PS3 reaching the router and getting out to the web. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want waste time trying to configure a new piece of hardware.

Fast Delivery
Comment:
Considering that I'm working overseas, I received the product in about a week. Easy instructions to follow. I was up and running in no time. I use the bridge to hookup my Panasonic Blue Ray Player. My LAN router was just to far out. I did not want to run cables all over the house. This is a great product!

Awsome Product
Comment:
I received it very quickly and installed it manually (without the CD), it works perfectly. This is a great alternative to running a lot of cat5 cable through your home.

Crappy software & support
Comment:
Install software bombed almost immediately. Downloaded from website, that bombed too. Called support, jumped through the India operator menu hoops for 1.5 hours, all useless . . . when I could actually understand her. Got an RMA and replaced with a D-Link.

Great device and easy to install
Comment:
Great service from TigerDirect. Device took few minutes to install. The only issue is that you won't be able to see on your network (Lynksys Network Magic as an example) what's connected to it. But, what's important is that the connected device works wireless. Definately recommended if you want to saved an ethernet port and run wireless (Printer, TV, Media Hub or blue ray)

For Netflix and Pandora Streaming
Comment:
This replaced a Linksys WET54G that went south on me. The product is used to stream Netflix and Pandora wirelessly through my Samsung Blu-Ray player. Wireless link is solid and more stable than with the preceding WET54G, with almost none of the occasional, brief video hesitation during playback experienced before. Installation was a snap, with the unit up and running on a WPA-enabled wireless G system in twenty minutes. Highly recommended for this application.

Does everything that I expected it to do.
Comment:
Why not all five stars then? Well, it has only internal antennas so it is not possible to attach a high gain antenna and get more usefulness from the 5.0GHz spectrum. Other than that, it works quite well with the WRT610N that I currently use as my router (coming from a D-Link DIR-655 which a firmware updated made essentially useless ... no downgrade possible). It is definitely more robust than my D-Link hardware was when it comes to coming back online when equipment is power cycled. I use this to supply network access to my TiVo which is in a cabinet in the living room and it worked fine going through one wall and the cabinet at a distance of about 20 feet. I finally removed it from the cabinet and just run the Ethernet cable into it and get a more stable connection (which is where the ability to attach a high gain antenna would be nice). Overall, a great product for the price; especially if you are pairing it with the WRT610N.

Some setup difficulty
Comment:
There were no problems running the CD and getting the bridge setup. I was able to connect to the bridge fine wirelessly and go to its web page, but I could not see the computer attached to the bridge. The computer on the bridge couldn't see the network. I have a Linksys WRT610N router. An hour and a half on the phone with the Linksys tech did not help (which runs $9.99 if they can fix it). I went on a Linksys forum and found other users with the same problem. After a few more hours of troubleshooting on my own, I found the problem. My SSID was 2 words with a space in the middle. I took out the space in the name of my wireless network and it has worked great ever since. Apparently Linksys tech support isn't aware of this issue. One thing the bridge does not have is something on its built in webpage that shows information about the device connected to it. My Linksys router has this the bridge should too. Hopefully we'll see it in a firmware update.

It works
Comment:
This does exactly what I wanted. It seems like a lot of money for such a light-weight little plastic thing, but it does work. Not difficult to setup, just follow the instructions.

Worked First Time
Comment:
Client needed an Ethernet bridge to connect his DirectTV DVR to his home wireless network so he could download content. I plugged it in, used the self-install CDrom, and it configured effortlessly. Then, I connected it to the DVR, performed the setup on the DVR and it worked the first time.

Some difficulty in set-up
Comment:
As usual, shipping and arrival of item was unequaled. I did experience some difficulty in understanding exactly what I was supposed to do. And I have enough background and experience to know what I'm doing. After several different configurations, I got the unit to work. Since then it's been running like a Swiss timepiece.
