They are bright and and glows red. IF you appear straight at the cathode lights you will see it orange. The GLOW itself is red though. You will NOT notice the "orange" itself as you casually appear at it. It matches great with my red led fan on my HAF 932 case. Provides it a good fiery glow.

Superb DURABILITY AND Very BRIGHT+ owned more than two years and i just bought these:) bc this companies merchandise perform excellent, AND Last!!! Kinda redish-orange, but from a lil techniques away when you dont have a microscope more than it examining it, they look red :) P.S those 2 year old lights are nonetheless working and that guy that is complaining about these not becoming any kind of red, IM NO STYList but i am pretty certain that these are a shade of red, and I dont believe any individual desires to know about what you consider of the shipping. These come in a incredibly spacious box with Plenty of peanuts so nothing gets damaged.and apparently your TB HD is working so cease telling your over dramatic story to absolutely everyone else.NEWEGG... YOU ROCK!!!

These CCs work just as advertised. Low cost, vibrant and effortless to install. They do have an orange tint to them but I like the way they look. Cables were just lengthy adequate to mount 1 on the bottom and a different in the direction of the leading of my case. Recommended! The converter box is an ugly blue, I just hid it behind my challenging drive cage. The on/off switch it comes with is developed to mount into a pci slot which puts the wires ideal in your way. I got about this by cutting the ends off the mounting plate with a dremel and mounting it beneath the front of my situation. Tends to make my case appear like the fires of hell are inside. >:)

These have a good red color if you're hunting right at them. Considerably deeper red than other individuals that turn out to be "pinkish". IF they're hidden and just applied for background glow it can look fairly orange...but that's the way it is with most "neon" lights. It's not like these cathodes can make the dark red hues of a laser light or anything. yet another factor to note is that when you switch them on and off there is a slight power delay to what ever else is daisy chained with them. I recommend either leaving them always on or off and shifting that when the pc is off if you have to daisy chain them to the power lead for a hdd or other essential element. utilised to hook these up to music interface for interior neons in my truck...not a negative notion either ;-)

low-cost, usable, on/off switch. logysis red, will light up my case nicely, when i take it apart. a little sketched out about the adhesives, will almost certainly get mounting brackets from the hardwares store to install putting into my moded COOLMAX case N82E16811212033, i just reduce out some of the side of the case, grabbed some acrylic board from the hardware shop and riveted it to the side with a great skull painted, these factors should make it appear great.

Like them there great and bright tends to make my computer glow like crazy. A little on the orange side, its not a true red. Also the chords on them are a small brief kinda tough to make them fit in the exact spots you want them.

Great bright red lights. Easy to hook up. Initially ordered two sets of these. One set had a single light that was uncomplicated to see it was broken, but it was nevertheless shipped to me. But thanks to The Eggs fantastic consumer service, I had a new set in 2 days cost-free of charge. Not worth getting rid of an egg for but a thing to maintain in mind when ordering is the reality that the supplied velcro is junk. It failed within the initial day. I went to the local workplace provide shop and bought a roll of double sided mounting tape. It's a bit additional permanent than the velcro but I don't see them falling once again.

This cathode is indeed orange as the other reviewers say... if you look right at it. The actual light it emits is really red. Functions fine, was of larger quality than expected. Folks who don't set up them appropriate and then complain that they're orange. Cold cathodes are meant to be mounted out of sight, so that just their glow is visible. If the cold cathode shined red when looked at, the actual light they emit would be as well faint. So if you're worried about the reviews saying their orange... don't be... provided you install them out of sight like they're meant to be.

Vibrant!Very easily mounted with adequate wire length to mount in a wonderful viewing place just as long as you do not want to mount to top rated and bottom.adhesive and Velcro on it seems to hold nicely. The ends appear to come loose extremely quickly and sort of wobble. Its doesn't appear to have an effect on performance and it only wobbles when you are moving it so this is a very quite small con. Perhaps an outside of situation sound sensor would operate far better. most folks buying this are generating their personal computers and the sound is challenging to get to it inside of the situation.

Quite pretty to appear at. Not also vivid, not also dim. They are also obviously red. No blunders in searching pink or orange. A little bulky for where I wanted to put them...but I eventually get them into location. These are amazing lights for jazzing up your gamer situation.

One light performs wonderful. The other arrived broken... coulda been shipping or it could have been shipped that way at newegg... I don't know. Not worth shipping back. I ordered a different that came with two operating lights. Kinda stinks that you require a controller to power up these issues.Oh and they are red... not orange... get more than it people today...

cheap ummmm affordable....lol they make a nice color....unfortunaltely the wrong color...see below properly the wiring harness is a mid-evil torture device. the color is NOT RED its orange incredibly orange. they are low-cost cost but challenging to wire in and glow orange not the advertised red color

Don't listen to the critiques, these issues are quite red! Moded them for my haxbox and the I accedentaly snapped both of them with my ginormous hands! quite distressing! The actual cathode is fragile! Duh!Hurray for stupidity!

Quite Vivid Red When I turn on the Switch the bottom Cathode will light up but the top rated a single stays off for about 5 seconds before turning on. I knocked and EGG off for that just due to the fact I believe I could have a defective product.Im not going to RMA or Return this not worth it at 11 bucks. I can just bake the board to get the solder Reflowed Ive alwas loved cold cathodes

Were shipped safely, nothing at all broken like some of the other individuals' purchase(s). Plugged them in and fired it up, have a nice glow to them. Can't complain, i'm pleased. They do have a orange tint in them like every person else says.. but it's not too undesirable and if you have other red components.. it'll bring them out nicely. Overall, glad i purchased.

The red looks fantastic!! Low cost and cool looks. The mounting material is very low-cost and dose not constantly stick for more than a week.

Effectively. They perform, and give off a good, bright light Uhhmm.. Aren't these sopposed to be RED cathodes? Orange doesn't go effectively with my situation. Some say that the cathodes themselves are orange, but the glow is truely red. Nope.. Orange all the way. Its sad Newegg only carries these cathodes Title them ORANGE cathodes!

I have a HAF 922 and these cathodes match the color of the fan perfectly. It fills the whole inside with a pleasant red glow which can be noticed by means of the front of the situation as nicely. This also has an On/ Off switch enabling one to pretend they don't trick out their personal computer. The wires could be slightly longer. I placed these with 1 horizontally along side the PSU, and the other I employed red zip ties to attach it vertically to the harddrive/ drive bay assembly. I purposely attached it slightly out of sight to stop men and women from seeing it and not the glow. I hide the ugly blue transformer box beneath the final HDD bay and use a little velcro piece to staple the on/ off switch apart from the bay.
