It functions good, really vibrant red, does what it's supposed to may well be overpowering for some systems, so you dont genuinely need to have led fans if you're buying this, it will light up the case and the area in all probability. I got the UV color from these and decided to use that rather due to the fact it went superior with the system, but have these on the side for future use.

Low-cost, uncomplicated to install and vivid. Yeah, they burn at a red orange and not a crimson red like an led red would, but they are nevertheless cool.

These cathodes are amazing. They light up your case like you wouldn't believe! Quite Cool! They are not orange. They are RED. They are very sturdy . I would advise these to any person who desires to light up their case red. Cathodes are sweet! Newegg is soo quickly on shipping! Newegg Rocks!Also, get them you won't regret it.

Ahead of you obtain cathodes you want to comprehend that it's Very tough to make a true red cold cathode. Most will either be an orange (or red-orange) color or a incredibly pink one, not a lot else can be done. People have complained about how these don't glow with a great red color, but rather have an orange-ish tint. That was truly a promoting point for me. They glow nice and vibrant. The orange tint is barely noticeable. None so far. I've only employed them for a day... Check to make sure you'll have clearance in your case for these. I really should've bought the smaller ones. I managed to get them to fit, but they aren't exactly where I wanted them. Nonetheless, the effect is pretty neat and I can see everything going on inside my case.

These lights are fairly dang bright. They do what they're suppose to do and that's to be bright. They're not red. I was reading other reviews and men and women saying they are red, do not listen to them. Its an orange glow it provides off, I look directly at the source its orange, I appear at my wall its orange but it's not a negative factor for me simply because it matches up with my logitech keyboard, mouse and 5.1 speaker control colors. So if you're searching for red lights these aren't for you but they're logitech orange lol.

Light up RED, not orange or pink. External on/off switch. Pretty vivid. The square end of one of the light tubes wasn't glued on, and fell off as I took them out of the box. Luckily, I had some Krazy Glue nearby, and promptly glued it back on. Not a large challenge, but nonetheless, a thing I shouldn't have to do. These light up my Antec 900 case very nicely. They are cheaply made, but perform as created. I knew what I was obtaining when I purchased them. Newegg has them less expensive than I paid for them.

I ordered a kit a month ago that came broken. I ordered this set and they came each working and fine. the connector on the power controller was a small bent absolutely nothing I couldn't handle and take apart to fix.

Have been using these for about 3 months non-quit. They are extremely bright, are rapid to install, only require 1 inverter box to save space, and the value is great! As some others have mentioned, the lights are far more orange than red. Also some of the cords can be short if you have a massive case. For a low-cost light, you can't go incorrect with these. The excellent is okay and they work as advertised. Very advised. And as generally, NewEgg was awesome!

Nicely, men and women complain about it searching orange and it does give off a slight orange, but it's not too significantly to hate on them. Have one on the bottom of the HAF 932 and the 1 that doesn't function is on the best. The working one lights up the bottom of the case nicely, just wish it was a deeper red, to match the R4 fans. Owell. 1 of the bulbs wires came out of the connector so now the bulb doesn't work. Pushed it back in and it looked very good and had a firm connection, but it by no means lit up. I would RMA it, but I don't believe it would be worth the time or dollars. Not too bad of a deal for the cost, but I don't believe I'll be buying CC's from Logisys once more. Neweggs shipping was good. The sent 1 of the 16x12x8.5 for this little package and they put it at the very bottom. At 1st I believed all I got was peanuts. >_>

it looks red to me, from a distance and up close! the Velcro is kind of affordable, double sided tape, and fell off when i accidentally pulled the wires.and speaking of wires... it's pretty annoying trigger the wires are so lengthy. And there that blue thingy that connects everything together. no great location to put that factor!and it takes up 1 pci slot space still looks superior though :) if you can hide all the cables away

They light up your case. They function. You call these red? I call these lights orange, these are not even a close shade of red. Appear elsewhere for accurate red cathodes. A note on newegg packing, you sent a 8x10" box jammed packed with peanuts and bubblewrap, but on the flip side i order a 1TB challenging drive, it comes wrapped in 1 layer of bubble wrap and the box was about the exact same size put almost no peanuts... GO figure, you guys want to look into your packing priorities.

they looked good while they worked... they lasted about five minutes. fired them up outside the case, worked wonderful. got them all mounted up, and the transformer that came with it went out. i know its the transformer, since each lights went out at the same time. i've read the other critiques, and aparently they have been known to function, so its worth a shot or two for 8 bucks.

Quite bright, light up my case and my personal computer desk, so it looks amazing. I also utilized them behind my monitor to make a sweet glow that looks incredible. These are specifically what I was hoping for. ORANGE Cathrodes, not red.people today might say "its not definitely a red but additional of a orange"WRONG, its straight up orange. I see no red at all. but excellent newsŕ trick is to use red saran wrap and cover them to acheive a additional intense red. so a Vary simple fix for ppl like me seeking the blood red effect." utilized this thought, and it looks sweet. totally worked for me, nice deep red. None, if you believe its too orange, use that trick. Fantastic product.

Its Low cost, and the light is a clear red. The lights themselves, seeking directly into them are orange. Why do folks complain so significantly just take a red marker or pen and color more than it.

the lights are pretty bright, i have a big case and it lights up about half of it with 1x light. i was thinking about purchasing an additional stick but the only portion it would light up is my powersupply and the bottom half of my mobo, which has nothign on it. the component with my gfx card,ram, hdd, are all lit up. nicely upon receiving 1 of the lights was shattered so i am stuck with 1x light stick unless i wanted to rma... imo not worth it, id just get more if i want it. still blows to only have 1 stick but in the end appears all i required was 1. fairly good setup stick works very good, i think 2x would be a small overkill. would purchase once again, knocked off 2x eggs due to the fact the shipping could have been much better/better packaging with these varieties of items. $)-(ő they are bright! lights up everything. i like that they come with a energy switch because i'm going to just use those line instead of cutting into the molex for my mods. none nada zero. they are so bright that the dual uv cathodes are drowned out by them.

Works fine.Bright red color when not looked at directly.Inexpensive. When I look at it directly it looks orange but who wants to appear at it? It hurts my eyes. All that matters is the red glow in the case, not the orange cathode itself. You will not locate the "real" red cathode ever. All of them are orange giving red glow. Most of them are a lot more orange than this 1. This one is as close as you can get to red.

Good light, really like the on/off switch for the back panel considering that the wife doesn't like the glow when she's on the computer. Mounting material is weak and when I got them one lamp was snapped in half. Yeah the mounting material sucks but hey, that's what zip ties are for.

bright. makes your case look freaking sweet and has an on/off switch some friends will feel it's overkill for a case to have led fans and cathodes but you know better nice could be to bright for some and is a slightly off color red(dark orangish) but it drowns out the other lights so you can't tell there is a color distinction vs the led fans...too bright for an evil case scheme
