Excellent amp rating at all voltages. Moderately quiet fan. two SATA connectors. Really excellent value Only 4 molex connectors. No sleeved cords. Good PS, only lack of sleeved cords and 4 molex connectors kept it from a five star.

Bought this on a price range to power a mid-finish gaming Computer around 3 months ago. So far, it holds up quite properly, but I don't have all the new parts it will at some point have. We'll see how properly it powers it when the Computer is totally finished. PS casing seemed slightly flimsy when bolting it into the tower. It felt like it was created of affordable metal and flexed about a lot. For a low-finish gaming machine, this does rather well. A pal has a comparable machine to mine with the same model PS and has no trouble playing Crysis with no lag.

Very good value. Has almost everything I necessary. P4 energy connectors are incredibly tight. Right after you plug in a tough drive or CD-ROM drive, it is quite difficult to pull off the connector and not pull the wires out of the connector.

Functions fine in decrease power systems - anything over a 300 watt technique will have trouble, specifically if beginning amps are rather high. I had this in a technique with a Phenom X3, Nvidia 9800GT, 1 difficult drive, and 1 optical drive, and right after 18 months it won't start out that process. It will commence up fine in a reduce energy program, although, so in the spare parts pile it goes for a even though. Won't make me magic pancakes for breakfast. You get what you spend for. High pitched noises coming from it at random, comparable to the noise a CRT makes when on.

Just an update - I have had this thing operating a AMD sys considering that Might གྷ, quite significantly 24ǝ, and it has under no circumstances even blinked. this is all the much more amazing, thinking of what its running:AMD x2-6000(the 125w 1, o/c to 3.2ghz at 1.4+ volts), a affordable-o biostar tf7025, 3 gig gskill 800(the nq ones), XFX 8600 gt xxx, 2 wd sata 80gig raid , 1 maxtor sata 500gig, 1 seagate eide 500gig, 1 samsung sata 22x dvd r/w(newer), 1 samsung eide 18x dvd/r/w,( on an add-on pci eide card'), pci SB live card, Zalman 9700, 4 case fans, all HD have fans, and other junk.( of course, it does sound like a DC-10 takin off) W/ Win XP 32bitNo b/s! Ought to be dead, huh? (espec at 400w continuous?)...but Nooooo. I'm dead critical - I'll upload pics if you want! unfortunately, no cons. Maybe I'm far more astounded than vital, but for an"inexpensive"p/s, it seems amazing to me! I keep waiting for the smoke, just to give me an excuse to upgrade every thing, but it's the freakin energizer bunny! and, it screams! so I'm not waiting for death any longer, and ordering the Phenom w/ the great stuff. Going with the 9950BE...wish me luck!

Low cost! Performs! None. Purchased 2 of these for a low cost Socket 754 Computer (one for spare). Plugged it in, almost everything functions. I mounted it upside down simply because the fan is on major (as you read the label) and the leading of my Pc case is also close for any decent airflow. That may possibly offend some people today's sensabilities, but it works just fine this way and as the fan is appropriate over the cpu cooler, in fact cools cpu superior and I dont have to run the cooler fan as tricky.I have went back to using low-cost power supplies. I've had just as quite a few failures with ์-70 dollar units as ฤ-30 units. I'd rather have a cheapo with a backup in the closet. Perhaps if I jump into the ᄜ dollar energy supplies, the failure rate would go down, but a spare energy provide beats a wonderful warrantee everytime. I don't care if they will fix it, I care that my Pc is up and operating as rapid as doable.

Cheap, great replacement for failed OEM PS in low end homeowner systems, if it will fit in the case. <rant>Appear, I know I am picking at straws here, and I know that NewEgg often says that product photos may not generally be 100% accurate... BUT I bought this PS due to the fact the product picture showed a low profile input power plug on the PS. Of course it arrived with a raised plug with small "wings" that go practically to the outdoors edge of the PS. The difficulty with this is that I can not install this PS in some instances, prebuilt or even white-box without breaking out the metal snips. While this does not bother me in the slightest, Numerous of my clientele will not let me go hacking away on their situations to get this PS to fit. This would not be an issue if the PS manufactures would not use the input receptacles with the tiny "wings" as I call them. Ok.... </rant> PS makers, please stop working with the power input receptacles with wings!!! Low profile receptacles!!!

Works excellent with my Athlon X2 4800+, Abit AN-M2, Geil DDR2 800, Western Digital SATA 250G, LiteOn DVDRW. Haven't had any trouble with it. And it doesn't come with a lot of added (unneeded) cables, which makes my situation pretty clean and aids the air flow. It is truly only 400W rather than 550W (maximum). My system is pretty power effective as you might see. So be aware about your personal computer's power need to have.

Low costWorked fine with my setup It is 550W peak, I didn't see that prior to I bought it so that was my fault so only 1 egg off. Even so the only way I would have recognized was to read the evaluations or look at the picture given that the title says 550W. Got hot sufficient to shutoff my computer system unless i removed side panel. Was quite a bit louder than my existing one. Make certain you read by means of every little thing ahead of you buy. This was my very first make so I learned that the difficult way. Even so for the two months I had it in it worked fine except it would get seriously hot if I left the side of my personal computer case attached and was executing something decently powered. My pc:Western Digital Blue 500Gig 7200rpmASUS M4A78T-E MotherboardG.Ability Ripjaws Series 4GB 1300 8CASAMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition DenebSAMSUNG Black Blu-ray Combo DriveSAPPHIRE 100283L Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GBAs you can tell from my Specs this power supply wouldn't have lasted quite lengthy. I bought two of these points, and you just can't beat them for the cost. One has ran 24ǝ and I imply that. Day and evening, 24ǝ..not 1 sign of a problem out of either a single. Purchased them both 4ቸ񳏇. The one that runs 24ǝ has AMD 4200+ 2Gig Ram, 7300GT video card, and two 320Gig SATA harddrives, DVD Burner and CD Burner. The other one particular is installed in a Pentium 2.8e system, and it's employed consistently, day-to-day by children. Never ever had a problem with it either. Great power supplies for the value, you just can't beat them. I wouldn't even hesitate to acquire one particular of these again. But, from the way these issues run, I might not have to buy a different for awhile. None so far.

Installed at least five in numerous computers ranging from a Pentium III program on up to P4 Core Duo with no reported troubles. Smooth install and pretty quiet. All round a terrific value for the price tag. Would be nice to have added connectors, but it's nothing the correct adapters can't fix. This is good for what it's worth, but keep in mind not to low cost out on the power supply if you are building a larger-end machine; it's a worthwhile investment to get an Antec or a higher-finish Thermaltake.

This Power provide is excellent for the person who demands a great supply of power and lots of hook ups. The fan is huge and really cools well and ideal of all it is quiet! The cables are a small bit long....but that offers you the solution to tie them off to the frame of the computer out of the way...so really not a undesirable thing.

1. Flexible and Extended wires - no worries or issues in connecting elements, which can occasionally be a actual bear with low-expense PS units2. Big fan: adds to the cooling factor of whatever situation is applied none A reminder - as labeled, there is no connection for newer powered video cards (the program I place this in makes use of an older PCI-E geForce card that required a 4-pin molex so I had no difficulties

It keeps your Pc operating... Aren't psu's supposed to do that?Has all the connecters you require for older systems and AGP cards.20Ʋ energy pin adapter. იv rail is 25Amps MAXIMUM, not sustained. If you have a energy consumption card (in my situation, sapphire x1650 AGPx8), this will not operate. Any 3D applications I'd run would shut down the system, had to reduce the card speed back to x4. Technique is nonetheless unstable, doesn't distribute power evenly. I would simply suggest this psu to everyone with a much older graphics card. I'm nonetheless making use of an AMD Sempron 2800+, with 2 fans, 1 slot fan, 80gig HDD, and DVD/CD burner, and the old floppy. However, it can't run the card I have at all unless I cut back the speed, and even then some of the 3D programs I run get errors and close when the card needs much more energy. HDD is also obtaining complications obtaining sufficient power as well on start off-up.
