It performs perfectly for me! I didn't have the loose connection troubles other have talked about. Plugs them in and plugged it into an PCI (yes the old slot) and it worked good! Good sound and bass. I alos enjoy the reality that it is light weight and easy to move. None I only wish there was like an extended remote or volume handle. My old set that I replaced have about a 12ft coord with a volume handle so a remote with these would place it more than the top rated.

Only way to plug the method into your pc is through the audio jack attached to the little speaker with the power/volume and bass knobs. Demands replaceable wires/cables, but in contrast to other reviewers, I had no humming (Faulty wires), absolutely no "Bass also loud" complaint, and despite the fact that have only owned it for a short period of time, I appreciate it. Will update if something breaks...

Bass Bass and far more Bass, if your seeking for a two.1 with solid output a sleak design and a trustworthy brand, you found it.has more auxiliary ports in case you wana hook up additional speakerssleak style matches my Sony HDTV well, better sound than the Television speakers as nicely. A remote would be greatnot affordable at MSRP I paid half the MSRP + free shipping, was a killer deal at that price tag point. At MSRP 𞲔$ + shipping, id look for a much better deal.

Deep bass and crisp highs. Not "tinny" sounding like just about every set of desktop speakers I have ever heard. They surely do not sound like a price range set of speakers. They get as loud as most people today would ever want to have them. None. Obtain them and be incredibly pleased.

Points crank out quality noise, and a LOT much more base than anticipated. Pleasing aesthetic, nice to have controls up top rated on speakers. Dunno, not also a lot of a speaker guy, but these sounds excellent to me. I'd advocate to pals if necessary.

I almost had a "Back to the Future" opening scene moment when I turned these babies on and blasted some Dream Theater. The sub woofer was woofin' away and the speakers had nice rich highs, mids and lows. I swear the hair on my head moved. I like the bass knob for easy adjustment as nicely as the ports on the sides...one for headphones, and a single for mp3 players and the like. I could not be happier with my obtain. These points make my old pair of laptop-ish speakers sound like a phonograph recording. All I can say is WOW. It brought my music back to life. Worth every single penny. If you're searching for great sound without having spending a million bucks, attempt these. I'm glad I did! Be ready to have somewhere in mind to place your subwoofer. Not a con genuinely, just a heads up, because it requires up a bit o' genuine estate. Also, the subwoofer adds SO significantly to your audio practical experience. You undoubtedly need bass, contemplating the "pyramid of sound" entails the most significant portion residing in the bass.

From all the good critiques I was actually excited to see how this will sound. I even ordered a new sound card. It does not power on. I have to RMA it which Newegg will do with no difficulty but I thought I was finding a good deal on this. Now I have to spend for the shipping expense to RMA. This seriously bites. Would be good if Newegg gave me credit for shipping.

Solid value for ๠. Not perfect but hold in mind, this is only ๠. It is fantastic adequate for the average user. If you are picky about sound, invest 躔+ on better speakers. I am preparing on utilizing it for at least four-5 years. For some cause the sound is not incredibly "crispy" as my old Phillips speakers, but not actually a con. If your sound controller has Dolby surround sound and sound enhancements, turn them off. If you leave them on, the sound will be dull and muffed.

Inexpensive, the bass sounds good, installation was good and easy.These are surely a excellent set of speakers for 80 bucks. I was able to have them out of the box and hooked up inside 5 minutes. Now I just have to figure out the very best speaker placement to get the most out of them.I have the bass knob turned pretty low and it's currently audible throughout the house, so I know these can kick tough if you let them to. The correct speaker crackled for a bit. Immediately after a couple of songs it ultimately stopped, but I'm only listing this as a con, because I'm not confident if it's really fixed or not.

These speakers sound wonderful for their cost range. A lot of base if you're into that and like to feel the low frequency vibrations Logitech has a design flaw that causes the sub-woofer to hum ࿜HZ) due to a poor ground on the DSUB-9 connector shell coming from the mid-range control speaker box. Don't purchase these speakers unless you are technically oriented, otherwise you'll reside with the incessant humming. (see other thoughts for fix) I fixed the second set of speakers soon after returning the initial set to Newegg for warranty replacement. I had to get rid of the metal face plate on the back of the sub-woofer, grind off the paint (backside) where the DSUB-9 mounts and take away the rubber isolator around the connector. I added internal star washers to the screws mouting the face plate to the amplifier frame and the jack screws holding the DSUB-9. Hum is completey gone now.

Got on a black Friday sale for โ, fantastic deal compared to regular retail and sale cost. They're good adequate for occasional, casual use, but any person with a slightly discerning ear will probably notice how unbalanced it is. The subwoofer unit is really overpowered relative to the speaker units and overrepresent the higher bass range. In order to get correct sound levels out of this set, you'll have to use an equalizer and lower the preamp on the low and greater bass frequency rages࿀, 64, 125, and 250Hz) as effectively as boost up mids and highs in the 2khz-16khz frequency range, in order to get accurate sound.

Not an audiophile, but liking these speakers. Explosions rock the property, and they get fairly loud. What far more can you ask for? Cords are brief. I had weird feedback problems with them, came close to a RMA. Unplugged, replugged some wires and it went away.

Bought somewhere else for the same price tag as Newegg, and they ROCK. Genuinely, wattage looks wimpy but sure doesn't sound like it. Have to turn it down in the course of the night by alot.Volume and Bass dials are fantastic. sound good quality is good, but appear to have a lot more deep tones, even when the sub is adjusted or turned all the way down. Not also negative though, for standard users.Wires are a tiny short to put one on every single side of a desk, but manageable.

Looks decent and simplistic I guess? Hmm....also a lot of to even dive into. Purchased when they had been on sale ᤲ% off on logitech.com. They had been DOA with the loud humming and no other sounds coming from them, so I sent for a replacement.The replacement arrives! Lo and behold - more humming. This time at least, sounds from my personal computer could really come out and override the humming if turned up loud enough. Was so annoyed at this point I wanted to just settle until I saw a unique speaker set on sale.So I sent each my Z523 speakers and my PureFi Anyplace two for a return (I bought the PureFi for gifting purposes and had yet to attempt them out, but I'm no longer interested in Logitech goods). Their policy states a Ɗ-6 week' return wait, so I patiently wait 6 weeks. Absolutely nothing comes, so I sent in a single e-mail inquiry soon after a different, only to be told 'its in the processing phase'.Well, my critique is becoming limited correct now, but overall their telephone assistance is good, but their on the web support, refund method, and item high quality absolutely reeks of failure.

Fantastic speakers and lots of rich bass. Right channel keeps going in and out right after four months of use. Not pleased. I'm looking for another brand of speakers since these didn't function out.

I enjoy the physical fashionable look of these speakers. The sound is outstanding. I did a text run of my dell laptop and was blown away by the good quality and crispness of the audio. I purchased these speakers with the intention of using them for my video editing workstation that I am presently constructing. I can not wait until I finish building my laptop or computer so I can hook up my new speakers to it. Three words for these who are vacillating on whether they need to buy these speakers: Purchase THEM NOW!!! I do not have any cons to mention at this present moment.

- Nice look- Clear Sound- Separate manage of the bass built-in the speaker- Clear bass throughout the range with pretty constant output all through the range (with equalizer tweaking). - Wires appear like they could be a tiny short for some persons, but they are adequate for my desk use.- Glossy finish shows prints 40 watts may well not sound like a lot of energy, but if you're working with this in a small study or bedroom these will pump out enough sound for nearly something. For the cash these speakers are good. The sub is substantially stronger than the speakers and out of balance if you turn the bass nob past 25%, but produces fairly clean sound. These will in all probability not satisfy audiophiles, but immediately after a little adjusting on the laptop or computer equalizer I'm pretty pleased and I'm relatively picky. The 360 degree sound makes a difference, but I wouldn't acquire them just for that; could make a larger distinction if your speakers will be in the center of the room. More than all I gave these speakers 5 eggs since the sound is really great for the value and I would definitely advocate at the price tag point!

-Downward facing bass works effectively, makes downstairs neighbors mad, but I delight in that anyway ;-)-the speakers really have sound output coming from the front as effectively as from the back (literally looks like its a doublesided speaker). If you spot them on a desk against a wall, you get a good complete effect-they appear sexy, I like the gloss finish and the not-also-vibrant-or-distracting LED on the volume nob that lets you know the speakers are on. -none. If you will need some computer system speakers, want them to appear classy, want wonderful sound reproduction, and need to have a headphone out and line in jack (there is one particular on the left speaker)...this is the finest deal. I've located Logitech speakers to final me 4-6 years without having ANY complications. They're quality. (I had to obtain these mainly because my wife got a little also into vacuuming and decided to vacuum my old logitech speaker cable ;-) )
