This worked completely with my Antec Aria case. I moved up to a C-2-D, with not problems. This allowed my to continue making use of the current 20-pin 400 watt energy supply that came with the case. none.... Like the title states: Uncomplicated as 1-2-3

It just saved somebody about 60 bucks for a new PSU. Functions as advertised; seems nicely produced - like you'd come across on a very good PSU - not some low cost homemade junk you'd obtain for a quarter at a flea marketplace. None

Functions as advertised. I was able to use an Antec Correct Power 550 Watt PS (one of the last 20 pinners!) with a contemporary systemboard with a 24 pin mian power header. none

Does its job, nice for when your PSU doesn't have a 24 pin connector and you can't afford or don't require a new 1. Really stiff wires, but no biggie. My 12v rail was low, thought it was b/c my PSU connector was only 20 pin vs my 24 pin power connector on mobo. Didn't transform anything but its not the adapters fault. Stupid Aspire PSU, oh nicely I don't have any challenges.

A very good cable for the cash, if it's what you want. This cable won't connect a 20-pin power supply to a 24-pin motherboard as I had thought... wrong genders. The pictures are what confused me. Everybody would do well to recall that "male" refers to the metal contacts, not the Molex connector look. The same goes for the "female" end. Not worth shipping back with postage much more than it's worth. But, NewEgg needs to right the pictures.

Does what I got it for...converts my old 20-Pin PSU connector to the 24-Pin that my newer motherboard takes. My motherboard in fact seemed to work fine with just the 20-Pin, but I figured for the cost I'd see if it produced a difference using all 24-pins. That, and I figured why would ASUS put a 24-Pin connector on the board if it wasn't necessary? Anyway, it's nonetheless operating fine with the adapter, but I don't notice any distinction with, or without it. The only cons are cosmetic only, and obvious just looking at the photo (I just thought I'd mention them in case you overlooked it). All the exposed wires on the adapter look ugly if all your other wires are loom wrapped, liked mine. It also adds to the length of your power cable creating it tougher to tiddy up the inside of your case. Don't be frightened away from this adapter if you have 20-Pin connector on your PSU, and need to have it converted to 24-Pin for your motherboard. The people that wrote negative evaluations either ordered the incorrect adapter, or they were shipped the wrong one.

It fundamentally works. From what I realize, the additional wires all go to the identical factor and it's genuinely to enhance current handling. That getting said, I doubt this would be wise for scenarios where you're taxing the power supply or motherboard. Not really clear. I ended up having stability troubles and replacing the PSU, which has been *more* stable (it was a TP 430 1. for an X2 4000 + 7900 gtx). Also, you might not want 1 of these at all.... or, it might basically hurt you due to the fact it's rising the number of 'mechanical' connections in a situation where you're already pushing too a lot current by way of too couple of wires.

Good Cable, Does what its ment to do None that I can feel of My brother upgraded his mobo, Ram, And GFX card to a pciE from an agp. His old PSU only had a 20 pin and the new Mobo necessary a 24 for the psiE Slot. Purchased this cable rather of a new PSU. Saved a excellent 50$

It works. Appears solid. As other people have mentioned, the female connector (to your P/S cable) is very tight. Just be patient to work the two together, just before you plug into the board. Truly, you can use your 20-pin w/o an adapter if you know what you're performing, but this is the safer route. It has been claimed that these adapters dilute the 12V channel, but I haven't noticed any such in my testing.

It works Challenging to connect on the power supply finish. None of the pins seemed to be bent but I had the hardest time connecting it to the PSU. The motherboard connector snapped in extremely easily. Also it would be great if the wires had been in casing, but hey what are you gonna do? Only had this a couple of days hope it doesn't give out on me and harm components.*knocks wood*

This cable let me use my older PSU with a 20 pin connector on a newer mobo that only accepts a 24 pin psu. um...i guess its truly "wirey", but thats digging truly deep. theres not mch to be disappointed about in this. This goes from a 20-pin PSU to a 24-pin MOBO, not the other way. make confident you get the proper 1.

Looks good, havnt employed it however. I learned that some motherboards can take a 20 or a 24 pin power supply main energy connector. None however... This is a female to male, be cautious and make sure it is the 1 you need.
