Had a Netgear G Router, thought I should upgrade to a N. Bought this Liksys model. Really nice looking, installed easy, and have no problems with it. I just cannot see any any advantage over my old Netgear model.

Router was delivered faster than I exspected I dont know alot about computers however I found installation and set up very easy I have MS vista OS cable e net and all I did was put in the CD and followed instructions I can take laptop anywhere in house and PS3 has 100 percent link up Great product

First let me say I am not the most tech savvy person, but I'm not stupid either. It took me hours to set this up. I followed the directions over and over and over and I had to do all the trouble shooting several times and I still am not sure why it finally worked. Now, on occasion, it stops working and I have to unplug it and re-plug it in to get it working again. Very frustrating. It works with Vista, Windows 7 and my wireless printer, but if I had it to do over I'd try my luck with something else.

I purchased this product 2 weeks ago. Installation is easy as 123. Make sure you check the installation demo video on youtube. Performance wise it is good, I live in a town house and my wireless router is in upstairs and i use my laptop downstairs. Very good coverage, excellent reception with no drop in signal. I surely recommend this product for the price you are paying. I paid lot less than what is now.. but neverthless its a good deal.

The dropped connection can be fixed by changing the default password that is installed on the router settings. I changed mine over a year ago and have not had a single problem since! The price for this is still high, but it is the same that you will find anywhere else and it is far cheaper than what I had to pay for mine. They offer pretty good tech support with little to no wait times. There are no problems with this router after changing the default password and I am on the net over 16 hours a day! This has worked for over a year already. Anyone complaining just never changed the default passwords and called tech support which is FREE !

I purchased this product on Black Friday and it was here within a few days. It was on sale for a great price and so far it is working really well. We have a strong signal wherever we are in the house. It was very easy to install. Great product with a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this because of the Cisco name associated with Linksys, thinking this would assure quality and performance. Was I ever misleading myself! It would drop connections about every 3 minutes. I found a firmware update and downloaded and applied it, resulting in considerably better performance, but still far less than acceptable. I replaced this router with a D-Link DIR-615, which operates almost flawlessly. I needed a wireless router in another location, so I tried the WRT160N once again, and again with unacceptable results. I found yet another another firmware update to download and install. Finally, after this latest update, the disconnects are limited to only once every day or two. Is that really acceptable? I don't know, but I guess I can live with it.

contacted cisco and tech was unable to assist with problem. Was put on hold and was never again returned to. Loses wireless conection constantly

Worked OK (except for Windows 7) until it wanted Trend anti-virus as part of the installation. That particular feature turned the whole thing to dirt! The system is now in a bag on a shelf in my garage as yet another unfortunate waste of money.

Software setup was a little flakey but finished up OK. I was replacing a Dlink 604 which kept loosing connection 10 ft. away. I am not using at (N) speed but is working great for my G devices. I did receive my rebate and the unit is totally worth the price.

The customer support talks down to you and they are very rude. I could not set up internet (even though I have with other routers) and they treated me very poorly. I am going with Belkin all the way.

There is something seriously wrong with this device. I have dns timeouts all of the time. I've read where users are downgrading to an earlier version of firmware, opening a potential security how, in order to get it to work consistantly

Up and running in 5 minutes. Currently a laptop, XBox 360, and desktop hooked up to this router. Good speed, and very secure. Living in an apartment, sealing anothers WiFi is a problem. This router solves this problem. Strong signal through out my place.

I bought this product and is working fine. You can use your computer anywhere in the house and outside. When I hook up with my laptop was little challenging. But the rest is fine.

Installation's a snap. Accompanying Software is a nice touch as well. Up and running for 30 days without a hitch. Significantly quicker and far more potent signal strength than previous Wireless G unit. This one's a winner in the sub-$100 category.

This is by far the worst router I have owned. It drops connections, and sometimes doesn't respond to a request for connection. I updated the firmware, and it worked better but still occasionally drops connections. I see many other people on forums having the same problems and no help from Linksys beyond updating the firmware. That's the last time I buy Linksys.

Its my first time to buy a Linksys router. At first I had a hard time connecting on the internet and so I had to call Linksys customer service and they were very accomodating. Within minutes Im already on line. I never thought that I will be this SATISFIED! I don't know about the other unsatisfied consumer who bought the same product but Im very happy with it. Features I just gave 4 stars, because I never really checked out the other features. Its fast fast fast!

I am a fan of linksys normally, and this was a reminder why. It was easy to set-up and install and has worked flawlessly. I am very happy with both the quality and price and would reccomend to anyone wanting to upgrade their wireless to N.

This is my third Linksys router. They have all worked very well. I had a little problem getting it set up, but it was my ISP. I called Linksys and they were very helpful. We had it working in a very short time. I had already upgraded to a new card in my laptop so the router kicked up to 144mbps. I am very happy with the distance (the router is upstairs) and the speed.
