This adapter was very easy to set up and use. The only problem is the short range. Our other laptops are able to reach hundreds of feet, but this adapter seems limited to 50-75 ft indoors. When it is within its operating range, it works as it should.

You can't beat the price, yes it's recertified but, the preformance of a Linksys is second to none.

Plugged this in a fiddled around a bit and have all but forgotten it is there.

This works. But it's better than being cheap: it also works on old 10.4 Macs systems (search the web and you'll find the driver). After about a month, I have no problem with it. Works well on my 802.11g network with WPA and MAC-address filtering activated.

I ordered this product because I have a Linksys wireless router. Set-up was easy and quick. I did have to turn on the broadcast SSID even after I provided my SSID and password to the network. No problem connecting again once I turned the broadcast off. No regrets!

I purchased this to connect my Gateway computer to the internet from my daughters bedroom. She needs it for her online classes. The distance from the router is 58 feet. It works great. The signal is always good to very good. She has not had a problem with it. It has been a great buy for the price.

I bought it for my old computer in the kitchen, it is an old version, but it works fine with phone jacket. Now I am using cable, I need some device to access Internet wirelessly. This prodiuct is 20 ft away from my router, it cannot pick up the signal. Yet I put the computer in the same room of the router, it works. Therefore this product is not suitable for router which is 30 ft. away.

I've work with Cisco products for about 25 years. I've learned that the Linksys WUSB54GC Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter - 802.11g, USB 2.0, (Recertified)comes up the the standard that I've learned to expect. I have it attached to a OPTIPLEX GX520 by DELL. I've set up my home as a pure WiFi so that security camera's and computers can use the system.

Need to re-connect if not using it for few minutes. When connected the speeds are excellent. Observed it was faster than my built-in adaptor of my dell laptop. I happy with the purchase. Using it on my Windows 7 machine, no noticeble issues so far.

The Wireless G Adapter was prone to heating up and then failing only to work again once cooled. One phone call and a replacement was on it's way

Booted up the software, plugged it in and no worries after that. The adapter arrived within two days or so and after install I haven't had to think about it again. That's what I was looking for.

I installed the adapter on my home pc and it worked for a short while but i have not been able to connect to the internet since then, worked only for about an hour. I do not have time to spend on the phone so have not called for tech support. I'm very disappointed in this product.
