Purchased this Jan 11 2006. It's now going to outlast an ๠ power provide. Since of this I purchased a new 600 watt replacement of the ๠ Antec. Runs smoothly. Just simply because it's lightweight doesn't mean it's affordable on the inside. Properly the metal is flimsy. One screw hole no longer holds a screw. But thats the only con. Whips ๠ PSU's up and down . Kills the notion you get what you spend for. in this case you get much more than what you pay for.

I'm uncomplicated to please. If it works without having fault, it gets five stars. I bought two of these baby's and they came in, I installed them, and they worked flawlessly. Extremely advised if on a budget, they get the job carried out and they're like ฬ... can't beat it! Perhaps just a few too quite a few cables but you get what you spend for. They advertised the exact number of cables I got, so can't count 'em off. Small weird configuration of the screws on the back, perhaps one of situations was just weird but thought I'd mention

The PSU itself was gotten for cost-free with case.Lasted nearly 10 months. Shorted out even though playing Left four Dead two.Popped and burned upon repowering on.Took my motherboard with it. low-costblack550W low-costrandom shutdowns, doubt it is other hardware as the pc is fine with one more psu, either way this factor was affordable and works decent so I'm not complaining!in all probability shutting down when there's too much stress on the 12v rail. psu is not something I recommend cheaping out on if you want a stable method. If you want a affordable fix though, go for it.

NONE The factor blew up two PCs. It would function for about a month and then the PC would no longer boot. I tried to tell myself it was a failed HDD the 1st time. I put the PS on a shelf and purchased a much better unit and replaced the HDD. A few months later i put it in second box. What i fool i was. It smoked that one now. Exact same factor. Brand new HDD drive. DO NOT Purchase THIS PS. NEW EGG Ought to Take away THIS Product Epic fail with this vendor. Issues break. I comprehend that. Taking other gear down with it tells me the vendor builds junk and doesnt care about the end user.

Cost was incredibly affordable. Would enable my laptop or computer to mechanically energy on, but it would by no means POST. I swapped it with one more power provide and it boots fine. Quite low finish method, not a lot of power draw at all.

Good level of power for a excellent cost, lots of fans to preserve it from exploding on me! Had NO screws to mount on my Case and the holes seemed to be filled with Paint or something. Had a Extremely difficult time screwing in to my case. I am not sure if this is how factors are with all PSU's, but i'd advise getting careful with this one. Make certain your screws will fit and make positive there isn't a ton of garbage on the inside of your screw-holes

None The personal computer wouldnt restart unless the power supply was unplugged and its switch reset. I fully grasp its not a best tier PS but it must have been able to run a fundamental Celeron/onboard graphics laptop or computer and it wasent able to.Invest a bit a lot more and stay away from these.

Inexpensive This thing is LOUD!!! Constructing two systems for a client, and when I fired it up, I thought I was at the airport! Ended up sending them back, so got stuck with return postage as nicely as restocking fees. If you're going to be in an environment with loud, ambient noise, these would be OK. At residence or in an office setting - incredibly few folks would be content with these.

Excellent price. Straightforward to install on HP a6724e with an AMD Phenom 8550. Pc had been acquiring BSOD & audio troubles. Now everything appears to be operating wonderful including audio!! I am incredibly happy correct now. The PS is really loud, but I'll get utilised to it. I've just installed it, so I hope I don't have to eat my words later.

A simple 400+ watt power supply for ฤ.00 with free of charge shipping with all essential connections for a few year old machine... what else can you ask for. Certainly a lower excellent unit. Not a accurate 550w but more like a 400w. The fans surely are noisy but as the saying goes... you get what you pay for If you want a high finish supply, save your pennies and get the excellent stuff.

Properly, it's precisely what it says. only one sata connector. If I had bothered to read the specs, I would have by no means bought this. It only has one SATA connector, which is fine, if you're not developing a totally SATA machine.

Does the job, still working Noisy U get what u pay for, I don't mind the noise, but a much more expensive psu would have much less noise. Certain beats the icute psu that I took out

It came with my NZXT Case and is a very good seeking black. Naturally low cost construction. Low AMPs. 1 esata and no PCI-E connector. I would not recommened acquiring this PSU on its own merits. Decent Wattage. Enough for most systems and ANY spending budget program. In the picture it looks like it has grey on some sides. Mine came painted all black. Quite nice paint job in fact. I have not had it long sufficient to give it a usage rating.

none 1st one arrived DOA. When 2nd one arrived it was rated for a lower rating power supply not 550 , had an typical running amount of like 450 but had a "max" of 550. Quite loud power supply, if you want quiet don't buy this 1. I would not purchase once more.

Wattage ok for a mid-low program. Got it for free which is usually a PRO!! Only 1 dedicated SATA power plug. If the case you are using has the power supply in the bottom, you can't use a PCI-E card... wires aren't lengthy sufficient... I am using the onboard video mainly because of with.

Purchased four when they had been ย shipped on Black Friday.Installed in the Rosewill Blackbone case. (matched perfectly!)Offers plenty of power for a Quad Core, and two Difficult Drives! The fan is enormous and supplies terrific airflow, but at a cost. It is kind of noisy. Not recommended for a Dwelling Theater PC. I will get again.

It has a good black finish. Very good airflow. It only has one Sata and no PCI-E. It's basically (according to the sticker on the side of the PSU) a 400watt energy supply with a maximum output of 550watts. So don't obtain this unless you only require 400watts or much less. It is LOUD. I can't stand it. My Antec 1200 case with 7 fans makes half as much noise as this power supply! I got it cost-free, never would have bought it otherwise. I'll update this evaluation when it burns my home down or something :)

Good paint job ....can send signals from all the smoke it createshas a good marshmallow toasting feature also blew the fuse instantly on turning it on I was hoping that this PS would last at least 6 months to 1 year but it only lasted 1 second....of the last three Logisys PS I've purchased from Newegg, 2 have fried in this manner...(I did take every precaution ie; static free environment, plug in the power cord with the rear switch in the off position, check excessive grounding etc and so on...) but alas cheap was not to be....soo like quite a few other reviewers I'm off the Logisys wagon for very good.. I don't strategy to send it back nor am I going to ask for a refund or exchange because for somebody who claims to have a high tech understanding I must have recognized much better than to fall into the pit of 'IT'S ON SALE 25% OFF AND Cost-free SHIPPING' for a energy supply that is rated at 550 watts for under....nicely... for low dollars so...to techies and non techies ....unless you have a fondness for playing russian roulette (with 2 or 3 bullets in the chamber)....I'd stay away from this one

Affordable cost It powered my method for two weeks prior to shorting out and that was it... Don't short yourself, acquire much better good quality then this PSU.

Inexpensive, worked at 1st. Following 2 1ǘ months it killed my Video card and a Difficult drive before killing itself.Do your self a favor and spend one more บ dollars and buy something decent.
