Fantastic sound and ease of use and installation. Low-cost plastic elements. There is a platic piece that holds the ear phone to the head set. It has 4 screws in it. This piece started to crack following only 6 months. Right after 9 months it had lastly come apart in pieces. Now the head set is unusable simply because of one affordable plastic component! Googled the difficulty. Tons of posts on forums about the very same point. For 贘, I expected a lot more than 9 months of use. Will not be shopping for a different Logitech headset.

- great sound- great visual aesthetics - voice synthesizer is cool- i liked the sound excellent - like most have stated, the g35 drivers totally suck. that alone wouldn't have prompted me to give this headset three stars, but there's more. - the volume is not loud at all. i don't like my sound on an ear bleed level, but i am not comfortable at all with the max volume that these headsets have. - the sound top quality began to get progressively worse with out me even torture testing the headphones- i can't retract the headphones down any longer due to the fact there are these plastic pieces behind the bands that are sticking out and jamming the whole retracting device. - and worst of the worse, the plastic on the earphones is peeling off!! it's definitely annoying it's genuinely unsettling to see this headset fall apart before my eyes. prior to shopping for them i believed i made a seriously good buy, months later i'm watching it revert back to the raw materials it was made out of. it sucks, as well, mainly because this headset is made by logitech, a brand i believed i could usually lean on when it comes to excellent. i'm not going to hold this one particular screw up against them even though, as absolutely everyone tends to make errors

purchased a pair from greatest buy a tiny more than a year ago and they have served me nicely because. sound quality and mic high quality is quite high. use of the g keys has turn out to be habitual for control of itunes not a issue following a number of trips to and from lan parties and such the plate above the left ear cup that holds the swivel to the headband has grow to be cracked. not detrimental to overall sound good quality but duct shouldn’t be needed to repair a 130 dollar headset. also after scouring the logitech web site and asking about, replacement parts for it are non existent

This is my 1st headset purchase and will most likely be my final for the next few years. These babies rock! I put these through the test every single day and they've held up no problem at all. I bought these for listening to music/movies/gaming. I was genuinely skeptical about the MIC realizing most headset MICs are on the low-end side...Personally it sounds greater then my Logitech Pro 9000. With my volume on my Pc maxed I can only listen to a Dubstep song just beneath half volume on youtube or it becomes so loud they literally shake. I've had instances when the bass hits so hard they are shaking on my head, I appreciate them to death. The best investment I've produced in a extended time, it took me practically 3 months to essentially determine on shopping for them and now that I got them I really feel I shouldn't have waited. They are a bit bulky and huge and do take a small time finding utilised to but that's nothing compared to the high quality of these. For those saying these fall apart and what not, I can only see a user error in these falling apart. This is a HIGH High quality headset and is worth each and every penny...If you're hunting for a High High quality gaming headset with a Fantastic MIC I'd recommend these more than anything. If you're just listening to music it's not genuinely worth it but it does cope with 赨 Stereo Headphones.Grab them although they're here they are worth it!

-7.1 Surround functions wonderful. Nothing like hearing an individual "tip toe" behind you and getting in a position to spin about and frag them.-extended cord, good for if you hide your Pc about the corner, can tie up cord and braided cord is powerful and sturdy.-Numerous keys on side are great for turning music on/off, skipping forward even though in game, or binding it to troll in game with voice morphing (not that I ever did that... ;-) -Heavy, if you game for long periods of time frequently, this can strain your neck quite a bit; however can create that significantly required neck muscle :)-Breaks very easily! Careful not to drop, had it sitting on my tower which is only about 2 feet tall, fell off when cat knocked it down and instantly broke 1 of the 7.1 speakers in the left ear, have to use mono sound mode now for it to not sound odd. You can hear the speaker rattling around in the head set now.-pricey I would almost certainly acquire yet again if it were around 贄, I assume logitech wants to re-make this to be much more durable and lighter. I would be prepared to spend 赨 or more for the similar style but lighter and more durable. The cord is wonderful and sturdy, but what is the point if it just breaks?Vygur from InKDGeeks

I really like this headset, I was a bit concerned at very first considering that my last 3 headsets (all over โ) were literally just garbage, garbage garbage, my present razer headset, just pointless. This is super comfortable, and fits even my huge head, the buttons, which others call useless, are essentially really cool to me, and the surround sound, although emulated, nevertheless works pretty well. It barely leaks ANY sound, and it only leaks a TINY bit at Genuinely high volumes, so I can play my Very first Particular person Shooters super loud and nevertheless speak to my teamates. pfffft Buy this, and marry it

Very good headset overall, great sound and the retractable microphone is just awesome. The voice changer is also very funny. The headset is kind of huge, but nothing to serious. Watch out, the plastic looks cheap and sometimes you might think it's going to break. Very good 7.1 headset for a USB one ! recommend it !

7.1 is good sounds very good in 7.1 or stereo mic picks up pretty excellent and clearthe G buttons come in handy fairly usuallythe cord is securely in the headset in contrast to some headsets i have owned prior tono in-line which is great always gets hung up on my chair and pulls on my headset. It is fairly comfortable tohas fantastic bass and rumbles true nicely the speakers distort if i listen to a song with seriously heavy bass with the volume and bass set to maximum which my old headset didnt do but i dont listen to music that loud anyway so it doesnt bother me. I really had bought the Logitech G930 headset but i was not satisfied with the wireless sound high quality so i brought them back and got this set. This set is the exact similar headset just wired and sounds greater since it is wired.

Great. Sound top quality is great; actually hits these lows in bass and sounds crisp in highs. They appear pretty mean and feel like a serious headset. The emulation involved even though listening to music and watching movies/playing games with the pseudo 7.1 genuinely tends to make it feel like it's coming from everywhere; practically like it's really coming from everywhere in the space. Them getting fully more than-the-ear tends to make for good noise canceling.Mic high quality is wonderful and I like the flip up mute feature, that's nifty. Also, in contrast to my G9, Logitech did a good job producing the braided cord really feel really sturdy and durable, along with a nifty strap. They are sort of heavy and will need a small acquiring utilized to. They don't breathe so your ears may well really feel a small toasty following a while. Sometimes I'll have issues in Skype where I'll have to mess with some settings just before they can hear me, even though Windows shows input from my mic. Also, there's an issue with the new version of Skype exactly where sound will be loud in the proper and quiet in the left; rolled back to 4.1 and it fixed it. Hope they release a fix for that. The G buttons are only limited to the preset programs in the software program which is sort of lame (unless an individual has figured out a workaround). I expected there to be an "Add Program" feature or some thing, and because I don't use Winamp or Windows Media Player anymore, they're kind of useless. I created positive to grab them prior to the sale was up. They are extremely good for ๛ but I'll be disappointed if I don't obtain the rebate. I possibly wouldn't have spent the whole 贉 on them, which is also my fault for depending on the rebate, but whatever. All in all, so far, I'm content.

Adore the sound and bulk this point has. Voice chatting is no issue and setup is straightforward. An enjoyable headset to have. Outstanding client service. The high pitched buzzing sound is a hardware problem. You require to send it back to Logitech to get it replaced. Which of course I had to do back in NOV. On the second pair I now have, I had the wire wrap onto itself ripping the outside fiber an snapping the layer of plastic covering the inner wires. Logitech customer service responded rapidly saying they would cover it. Of course the subsequent day immediately after that e mail from them, the ideal ear piece snaps off. Now here I am hunting for a new headset to obtain, clearly not from Logitech. If Logitech covers the snapped off ear piece/wire concern, then good. That's still not stopping me from shopping for a new headset from another brand.

This headset is remarkable. I'm a huge audiophile, and this is the only headset that seriously makes me say "wow" just about every time a noise comes via. I've heard noises and sounds I by no means believed could be developed by a headset before via these. Crisp highs, deep lows, an incredible headset all around. These things deliver. The microphone excellent is an 15ቦ, supplying good noise cancellation and incredible voice transference. My peers said that it sounded like I was sitting right subsequent to them. The red light and muting feature is great as well. When I put the microphone up, and leave my computer for a handful of minutes though on a Skype contact, it prevents whoever is on the other end from hearing points that I don't want them to hear, due to the fact I used to usually forget to mute my microphone. The only "con" I can come up with are the buttons on the side of the headset not becoming in a position to do substantially of something. They can control iTunes, and some DVD applications. but thats about the extent of what I would use them for. Who would ever want to reach up and press your headset for a PTT button on ventrilo? Not me. They also are kind of heavy, but it doesn't bother me at all. This headset is awesome, and I extremely advise selecting it up, rather than spending ฤ each and every other month trying to upgrade your sub-par headset.

I have owned the G35 for over a year now and I appreciate this headset. The surround sound is awsome. I also have the logitech z-5500 speakers, when I use these headphones i feel like im utilizing the z-5500's ... they are good!!! The voice-morphing is entertaining to use on close friends in vent :) Not actually an Problem but the swivels kinda squeak but I don't care would like to test these against Corsairs new HS1 headset.

Look great, comfortable, decent surround impact. Sound quality and bass is what you would count on. I was really happy for my very first couple of months of ownership. I was not rough with these. My earlier headset (Creative Fatality MkII) snapped at at the plastic stem of the cup. For that cause, I was cautious with these, but they also snapped at the plastic stem. Just not built to final. Computer software manage panel has the essentials, but the buttons on the headset aren't completely programmable. Replacing with Sennheiser PC350 and hopefully they will have superior construct top quality.

I bought these over a year ago and they have been excellent. Ive in no way had a complaint with the sound or the excellent of the mic. They have held up and accomplished their job perfectly. There is a typical breaking challenge with them that several men and women are starting to complain about about the internet. The left side headphone can truly deattach from the rest of the headset. The plastic just snaps in half and the cup will stay suspended by a thin wire. This occurred to me soon after around 7 months of use. I was in a position to repair the headset with nail glue and they worked perfectly for one more four months, then it broke once more. I don't assume the repair will function a second time but I am going to try. These are great headphones and I would advise them to anybody. But do please beware, they can break very effortlessly for no given purpose. Numerous folks have knowledgeable this identical dilemma. If you are hunting for headphones that you want to use for more than a year, I could appear into anything unique.

Hot buttons - Uncomplicated to system and helpful for muting vent, opening media player, or voice morphing on the sly.Fantastic sound - You can hear almost everything when playing fps games. Footsteps, gunfire, etc. even when its across the map. Music and movies sound good.USB cord - The cord is extended and and has a velcro strap for cable management. Comfort pads - It might just be me but the two added pads that come with the headset dont fit as nicely as the 1 orginally attached. They are on the pricey side but nicely worth the dollars. Heavy duty and fantastic quality.

- Comfy- 7.1 (faked but still sounds superior)- G-keys- Volume/Mute controls on the headset and not the cord.- Auto-mute when mic is in the up position - Lack of several alternatives for the G-keys. I wish they supported more programs- Doesn't auto-switch output when plugging in/unplugging unless you're on your desktop with nothing operating. (Minor concern genuinely.)- Swappable headband padding, under no circumstances seriously fits rather right in the housing. (Again, minor issue) I received these as a gift and they've been excellent. I have however to have any genuine matters with them, hardware or software. Searching more than the negative evaluations, I'm surprised at some of them. Specifically the complaints about construct quality. I fall asleep with these on every single night (literally), with 1 side being pressed against the bed/pillow and there's nothing at all broken. They've also been dropped half a dozen occasions on accident and nonetheless have no physical problems. I can't possibly recognize how setting them down 'gently' (as one critique pointed out) would cause the earcup to snap off, when I sleep with them on nightly.Don't let negative reviews get you down, these are a great headset, the only ones I like a lot more are the Logitech G930 Wireless ones.

Remarkable sound.Comes with fantastic software program/support from logitech.Win 7 driver support on plugin. Squeezes my head a small, after a whilst provides me a minor headache. Overall I'd advocate this to somebody, but with the caveate that you can't wear these items non-quit for hours. Your head will finish up needing to decompress a tiny. This might be something that doesn't occur as much over time (whether my head gets utilised to it, or the headset gets broken in). Making use of windows 7 you can simply mix which programs you want going to which "speakers", so that's very good.

Wonderful sound top quality from the 7.1 surround driver. Bass is acceptable if a Tiny light. Buttons and volume manage on the headset itself so you don't have to fumble with an inline fob. Replaceable velcro attached headband padding is a good touch.Software program installed and ran quickly and very easily on Windows 7 ࿠ bit even!)Almost everything just WORKED with out considerably tweaking. Even in games that are notorious for getting sound problems with comms. Could use a bit additional adjustment functions for head fit.The nylon wrapping on the cord is the very same as that on the G5 mouse which after time, if it rubs on Something will start to fray and expose wires. The G-buttons could use a single additional selection... Sending a keystroke to the current application. As it is, if you don't use any of the apps listed or use them for bass/treble/mic, they are useless. If they had send keystroke to the current app, you could use it for PTT in-game. If you buy electronics by the pound (as you should), you'll note that these are excellent. Very heavy for a contemporary headset. Reminds me of some 70's headsets with the large plug that went into your stereo method that your parents wouldn't let you use due to the fact they expense too significantly. They certainly have some heft to them. Taking into consideration the comfortable absolutely over the ear padding and the best padding although they by no means appear like they are TOO heavy. As a person else mentioned, the noise cancelling is great. You can barely hear your self speak with them on. I've had to turn on voice preview just to hear what I sound like and make sure I'm not screaming my fool head off. I've also had somebody walk into the home and proper up behind me with no my knowing it (nearly causing a messy situation in far more techniques than one particular :) ) I would very recommend these to any individual searching for a superior headset in the 100 to 150 dollar range.

I identified myself startled and searching about the room like a moron after hearing my initially rear sounds. Computer software included is superb and voice effects hilarious and quite nicely carried out. Exceptional construction and comfort Could go louder I tried turtlebeaches initial and was wowed by their volume until i realized all the odd noise when at low volumes which got progressively worse. Been a die challenging logitech fan for far better than a decade and have no clue why i waivered at first with this headphone buy.
