-Sleeved ten foot USB cable (very nice)-Really receptive noise-canceling mic; really clear and sounds good (I have 3 friends who also bought these)-The 7.1 works extremely nicely-Fairly great speakers in the headphones; if you're listening to one thing with deep bass they'll exceed your expectations - don\'t forget THESE ARE MEANT for gaming so they're not going to be your go-to headphones for the majority of music. They are wonderful for techno, dubstep, and so on even so due to the deep bass via the 7.1. I use my Sennheisers if I'm listening to rock or metal. -The Voice Morphing is a lot of fun, we laughed hysterically on Skype for a few hours just goofing about with that. The price tag! On the other hand I purchased these from Finest Purchase a few days ago when they had been on sale for ๑! Sorry Newegg, I'm typically loyal to you...but I just couldn't pass that up. If you can discover 'em for a small less, just get them. I've owned numerous amounts of crummy ฤ-30 headsets; which break due to poor cabling and poor manufacturing. Just do oneself a favor and get these, it's worth the investment. They're also very comfy for Netflix.

I don't know how these headphones work but I've worked in audio for years and have been a peripheral geek for a decade. I've owned a number of pairs of headphones and these sound much better, yes, much better than my 跌 Sennheisers which I was utilizing with an external mic. Every sound is clear and precise.I've got ears of a mole-rat and can quickly hear one thing that's unquality. I've owned a few other headsets such as the razer Barracuda (?) which had been semi-par compared to these.Bass is prominent without shaking your head. Highs are not piercing and the mids are very pronounced with no getting your face (which is the hardest to replicate truthfully).USB connection is straightforward to plug/unplug.Mic is really clear from what others have told me on Ventrilo.Controls are quite easy and straightforward. Can't ask for far more. I've heard of men and women complaining that they are not loud enough. I have no difficulty turning them up to a comfy level and any more would give soft-tissue damage (definitely not great!).I honestly can\'t find anything incorrect with this product. I've owned these for a great amount of time to know they are of top quality. When (and if) these fail I will gladly buy one more pair.I have a buddy of mine that had accidentally stepped on his G35's and they worked like a charm, nevertheless. That's my 2¢

-Good Sound-Nice fit-Feels high top quality-Very good bass-Quiet, and loud capabilities-Full 7.1 assistanceMy brother warned me against getting a USB headset for lacking of excellent high quality sound, and surround sound, but i have had no troubles. The top quality is fantastic, and the surround operates wonderfully in games like CSS and BFBC2. Extended cord - More than lengthy sufficient to go over my desk and down to my personal computer and reach my chair comfortably. Comfy, Various adjustments, unique head pads, and big, but not too substantial, earphone cups. The wire connecting the speaker to the headband appears a little thin... could potentially wear out from a lot of use. I wish there was a feature that you could plan a G-key to switch from the headset to my speakers for audio output... But a easy download of a script produced it so i have a hotkey on my keyboard to do so.

I've owned these for a small more than a year now! ideal condition! this headset has a very sturdy robust design! this feels and looks fancy dancy! the cord is good and lengthy with the good texture cord. The sound high quality on these is amazinggggggggg.(except the slight con)the mic is crystal clear!!!!!! it comes down and up differ good!comfortable... sorta... read other thoughts I'd like to say very first off that I am really picky so yeah... This headset appears like it crackles occasionally with hardcore rap and heavy bass.... idk if mines defective or what but its really noticeable. sorta.this headsets software program is without having a doubt extremely horrible:the programmable g-keys= LOLOLOLOOLwtfbbq?you get:windows media player, winamp, g35 voice morphing, g35 audio, ventrillo, power dvd, and lastly! windvd!! you can't develop your custom programs to open... you're stuck with those. who uses this software program? i positive don't and am guessing no one else does....this headset could be a little louder.... not capable of being really loud**The only reason i don't give this 5Ǜ is pretty significantly mainly because the software blows.** USB no require for any sound card! - exceptional! (requires their software) use this with any nooby personal computer and it will often sound the exact same mainly because its usb!make sure u install the computer software so you can get the 7.1 surround sound! i applied it for months with out realizing... (just flip the switch for 7.1 or standard)I may possibly have a weird shaped head or funny glasses or some thing.... my glasses appear to press into my head and it begins to hurt when i wear them using this headset. It only starts to truly bother me after like 3 hours or so.the custom leather head things are kinda stupid... waste of cow hides i believe. they all really feel the similar too me. (also be careful when pulling it off since the Velcro began ripping off with the leather when i changed the leather piece.... seriously the only cheap thing about the headset)Also their pretty bulky and nerd seeking... no one desires to talk to you on omegle with them on.... ):

Good build. Good cables. Great lows, superior closed can's. mids are negative. Sound position are not as good as the zalman 5.1. Price tag is particularly to high at retail for what you are receiving compared to a thing else its range like the hd555saudio AD 700sdd700heavy Compared to other name brand headsets in the gaming market like the icemats, razor or creative these headsets are better then all of those. USB headsets suck compared to normal jack due to the fact they have built in amp's that just sound terrible overall if you know what top quality sound is.why spend 130 for a headset with surround sound that ( employing technologies to create it, mainly because no two speak system can seriously do it ) when you can spend 60ish for zalmans and have way much better top quality sound? zalmans might have higher pitch and much less bass, but considering that they use stereo jacks you can get a sound card to adjust the bass settings to your pleasing. If you can come across these for about 70ish or lower then thats additional reasonable and comparable to a set like zalman. If you are paying more than 100 bucks then you must get a Actual headset that audiophiles like for gaming, like the AD 700s if you have alot of background noise like youngsters then you dont want open can's... get one thing like the hd595's or dd700s

One of the most comfortable headsets I own. To make this headset work with well with music you will need to play around with the equalizer in the software. For games, you will likely notice lacking bass, you can fix this by turning the FL, FR, SL, SR, RL and RR tracks down a couple points wile leaving the LFE track at the top. This creates a very usable 3D sound environment with uncanny positional audio. For what it is (USB virtual surround headset) its a very good by.

Extremely comfy headset, I have never had a issue gaming for 4+ hours at a time with this headset. Sound positioning is accomplished incredibly properly. Audio is also nicely done for a USB headset, something I had a difficult time believing at initially.Mic is crisp and clear, and I never have concerns with communication. Braided cord is tough, but it has a tendency to wrap and curl around itself. Really bothersome.Other than that I have had a positive experience with this headset. I purchased this headset simply because I did not want to purchase a sound card for my pc. I feel this was nicely worth the money. Its fairly an encounter to have the ear pads literally rumble on your ears when a tank rolls by in BFBC2 :)

-Bendable microphone-Extremely Comfortable Padding-Great Sound High quality (To be honest not that you'll notice any distinction in between this and other gaming headsets like the Razer Megalodon)-Surround Sound allows for simple detection of other players-No control box on your wire, getting the buttons on your headset is so handy-Functions for easy voice morphing (not that it truly matters just entertaining to mess about with) -The headset is really well built except for one portion, which feels like inexpensive plastic is holding the ear pieces on.The plastic pivots to conform to your head but feels like it'll snap if treated badly for even a moment. I am never actually concerned with the look or attributes of a headset, I mainly only care about the functionality. The sound good quality, microphone excellent, and the comfort is all I seriously care about. On the other hand, the reality that the headset looks cooler than all the other headsets I looked into in this cost range, the reality that the buttons are on the side of the headset rather of having a dangling box on your cord, and the truth that you have a few capabilities like voice morphing are always a plus, but it isn't what convinced me to buy it.Overall most evaluations like the Logitech G35 much better than the Razer Megalodon, the price difference must not really matter if you are putting out the money for one of these headsets, but in my opinion you won't notice considerably sound good quality difference between any of these headsets, but Logitech does make a lot of sound equipment so I went with them, and I was not disappointed. The only concern is that it might break, but their warranty could cover that

Surround sound functions nicely in Counter-Strike, which is what I mostly use these for. Microphone appears to perform well, has a light at the end of it to indicate if it is muted, and swings out of the way when not needed (swiging it out of the way automatically mutes the mic too). Headset is comfortable, comes with 3 distinct sized cusions that can be changed out to get the most comfy fit. The ear cushions are quite soft and cover the entire ear. When there are no loud in-game noises, I can carry on conversations with men and women in the room without having taking the headset off. Good for me when I'm talking to my girlfriend or youngsters and gaming at the similar time. If you are attempting to block out unwanted noise, these might not be for you. I researched this purchase for a couple weeks and am happy that I invested in the G35. This headset feels light on my ears, but I have to have it adjust it just appropriate to not really feel heavy on my head. It is heavy adequate that a sneeze will send it flying off my head if I don't hold on. Even even though it does feel heavy at times, I can wear it comfortably for two-3 hours at a time. I haven't located a excellent use for the actual-time voice morphing feature however, but I'm not actively seeking. Surround sound feature doesn't work with the Crysis two MP demo. This isn't definitely a issue with the headset, but the fix was to uninstall the Logitech drivers and install the generic Windows USB audio drivers. I got mine for the duration of a rebate promo, so it was a wonderful deal.

Excellent gaming headset! The surround sound is unbelievably great as well as the padding on the head and ears. You can wear these for hours and forget they are on. Comes with 3 unique sized head pads for varying head sizes. Works good in CS, CS:S, COD4, COD:WaW, COD4Ɇ, Bad Corporation 2, Just Cause 2, the Sabateur, any other source games. Also great for listening to music, the bass is fairly good and they can get loud for the listener but folks about you can't hear them at all, a large plus. The voice effects that come with the software program are enjoyable. The mappable buttons on the side are nice as nicely. The mic works excellent and is incredible clear. I've never ever had any complications making use of voice by way of steam or in Vent and TeamSpeak, constantly clear recording! A little high-priced, but definitely worth the price. They are pricey but certainly get them if you are searching for a new gaming headset. The 7.1 sound is excellent for becoming immersed in games or in your music. The mappable buttons are a good function, and the on the fly Dolby Surround switch is a good touch as well. I've been extremely pleased with this headset!

- Great sound. Makes a nice distinction in games like Modern Warfare two.- Music plays extremely properly on these. They pick up extremely subtle sounds that I had never ever even noticed ahead of.- I have had no trouble making use of teamspeak with this headset- works like a charm. I haven't tested Vent but (I rarely ever use it...ever), but I anticipate it will work just as well as TS.- I come across it convenient that when I raise the mic up to its top resting position, that it's automatically muted.- The volume button on the side is particularly handy.- Thick cord appears incredibly robust and doesn't look like it would break or get damaged really easily unlike other headsets I have owned. Not as comfortable as I expected a hundred dollar pair headset to be. It's not that they are painful or something, I gamed numerous hours this past weekend and it was fine, it's just that they really feel awkward. If I have them adjusted the way that I generally prefer, they give a decent bit of pressure about my ears that is extremely bothersome. I had to adjust them to a really, quite snug fit to alleviate this pressure. The cord is extremely stiff and can get frustrating to maintain out of the way. Nice, quality headset, especially if you are all about the sound. I just wish they were far more comfy, seeing as how they price over a hundred dollars and all...

- Greate gaming sound. - Voice mixer will be fun to play with just about every now and then. - Driver stops working once per month. You will need to uninstall and re-install the driver each and every time this happens. - Incredibly uncomfortable. It will crush your head and pull your hair. - The plastic of the ear cushions on the side will get started peeling off immediately after 5 months or so. You will finish up with little plastic chips over your skin from wearing these. - Avoid if you use GotoMeeting. It is extremely wonky with it.

Great high quality supplies. My ears get hot immediately after wearing it for a while. Its a little on the heavy side but still comfortable. Sound excellent was not impressive. Sounds a small like a tin can. Too pricey. Overpriced in my opinion for what you get. Certain the voice changer is enjoyable but it gets old soon after a while.

finest headset ive ever employed. sound is so precise in gaming i really feel like i have an unfair advantage against the enemy team. i primarily play the CoD's and this headset works perfectly on them. voice changer sounds excellent, mic excellent is best, and i can use these for hours without a headache, they are unbelievably comfy. the noise cancelling is good too, all the annoying sounds of just random stuff in the home are gone, and i can barely hear individuals when they're proper next to me.. its pefect. the headband part isnt simply removed, and the glue for the frame that you put the headband on comes off easily if its velcro'd too tightly. finest headset ever. obtain it, you wont regret it.

This is by far the greatest headset I've ever had the pleasure of owning, and I've attempted a good quantity of them. I play Planet of Warcraft, mainly, and the 7.1 surround sound is Remarkable. When utilised with compatible programs/games, you actually get the full depth and location that stereo just doesn't deliver. This headset has some other incredible characteristics, first and foremost is the Top quality, I have- inadvertently of course- dropped this headset from my desk a couple of times, and it's still going strong. Second noteworthy feature(s) would be the, well... features. It's terrific being able to mute your mic with a dedicated button on the side, and you KNOW when you're muted via the red light at the end of the mic. With one thing like Ventrilo, it's a excellent headset. The mic is quite very good too, I sound crisp and clear when talking to folks. The headset is also quite comfortable and remains so for long periods of time, esp. when compared to other headsets, while also allowing your ears to 'breathe' The fancy functions of the software, i.e. voice morphing and key assignment could use some tweaking on the manufacturer's part, but like I stated, I didn't get this headset for being able to morph my voice. The USB connection may possibly be an concern for some men and women, but I haven't had any real complications that weren't attributed to my USB hub losing energy, so it's a non-concern.

Pros: Great sound, good mic.

I bought this headset during Christmas and I really loved the 7.1 sound and the mic. After four months, I was trying to adjust the headset when it kept interfering with my glasses, and the right side earcup snapped off, and what I saw was a very thin piece of plastic which was the only thing holding it together.. I was furious that such an expensive item can break so easily.I decided to get a refund for the item, which I did and now I'm using a pair of Sennheiser HD555 with a Zalman clip-on mic, and I've never been happier.

Closed headphones. A lot of headsets advertise "closed" headphones.. but they're really semi-closed-open. These totally cuff your ears even if you have large ears. 7.1 surround sound. Some user today don't like it and in fact prefer 2.1. In some instances they could be proper. But for gaming... 7.1 is ideal. three button setup to boot up applications. With a single press of a button on the side of your headphones, you can begin up ventrillo, teamspeak, or any program you so wish. Ever play battlefield and wanted to close down your game window to begin up ventrillo? Nicely now you can. Just press a single button. Volume scroll nob on the side. Sleek style, sturdy, and durable. Cushion for top of head. Extremely comfortable. Ear muffs are extremely comfortable. Even immediately after extended usage, it doesn't hurt at all or feel uneasy. Good sound, but not the very best. (read in cons) Adjustable, with numeric gauge. Locks in actual nice. if it doesn't lock in, it's defective. Fits on ch Great sound but not fantastic or superb. These will not beat a Sennheiser headset...so don't go seeking for ultimate sound. This is much more like ultimate GAMING headset with great sound. You can nearly say it sounds like the default preset of your sound equalizer. But Sennheiser or an additional superb sound excellent headset would be like a tweaked sound equalizer that sounds much more crisp with the excellent balance of highs and lows, and bass. Bear in mind, you're acquiring this for the ultimate "gaming" headset. A lot more PROS: Microphone folds up and down. Put it down and microphone is "ON." Fold it up and it turns "OFF." Amazing right?! I think it's amazing and a neat idea. For you to genuinely take benefit of this 7.1 surround sound headset... Grab a 7.1 dedicated sound card. Trust me, it will do wonders and definitely bring out the sound this was meant to have. Doesn't sound good with onboard soundcard. I have a slightly far better onboard than Realtek. VIA HD audio onboard. I did not obtain this headset from newegg.com but rather from e.b.a.y. for ๥, no cost shipping. Typically, I would obtain from Newegg.com. If you have the patience to wait for mail in rebate, then get it... since it's basically cheaper than the deal I got on e-Bay. And if ever run into issues down the line... you're covered. Sadly for me, I'm screw-ed but I'm willing to take the opportunity.. due to the fact nicely... I'm poor.. lol so...yeah. Took me a lengthy time to muster up the energy and wallet to purchase one of these issues. They're really costly. Before this, I was utilizing Sennheiser HD202. The HD202 sounds significantly much better even as a stereo headset. Could you envision? But you won't get the gaming headset functions this awesome Logitech G35 offers. And that's the difference all in a nutshell. With the rebate, you would be crazy not to purchase it if you're in the market for a full-fledged gaming headset. If you're searching for just common headphones, look elsewhere, Sennheiser.
