Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Comment:
Ok this review is for individuals on the fence. I am in no way a sound individual. I play most games with low sound or sound off with music playing in the background. A friend of mine got a pair of these and I attempted them out and was blown away at how crisp and clear and really 3d the sound is. I feel i've taken them off 3 times because getting them and being at the computer. I have a fairly huge noggin and was kinda worried with the set getting uncomfortable in the log run..ended up becoming not a dilemma at all...really comfortable even in lengthy sessions. The range of the wireless has been pretty impressive, i can go anyplace in the property without loosing a thing. Not that I can feel of. Following wearing them for awhile and then taking them off its kinda like getting off a plane, not in a bad way. You notice little issues like how loud your case fans are due to the fact of the noise canceling in the headset. Overall not a con but just strange.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset

excellent sound,Really comfy,Really Extended Range wireless and Walls dont have an effect on the audio at all Extended battery Time usually about 8 hours not the listed 10 but nonetheless really good Sounds wonderful in SC2, does not require sound card to sound very good Deep ear Depth no additional ear scrunching -Crackling and distortion-high bass settings do not suite nicely with this cause distortion-you do not get the greatest audio possible unless you Use the advance equalizer settings- quite high priced but hey it is freaking wireless man its incredible excellent greater than most corded Headphones but still took some tweaking but i cant wait when they perfect wireless systems its gonna be cords at all for the whole compThese are the factors i docked -1 egg BUT these had been all very uncomplicated fixes the head phones come with a USB dock that your supposed to put the wireless USB drive in but that causes the distortion and crackling so i switched it to a direct connection on my computer and sounded crackly nonetheless but then i just plug it into a distinct USB on my pc and no far more Crackling!! or poping-Bass distortion is genuinely annoying so you have no selection but to use the advance equilizer settings to make your music sound its ideal especially if you listen past 95% volumeI HAVE NOT Utilized MIC OR RECORDING A lot SO READ OTHER Reviews AS I HAVE HEARD OF OTHER Concerns BUT I HAVE NOT PERSONALLY ENCOUNTERED

Surround sound is fairly significantly the finest i have ever heard in a headset ever in my life. Like it does a greater job than actual surround sound in most scenarios. It has 2 modes one for surround sound and 1 for stereo. Listening to stereo sound in stereo mode is quite great... i guess... its passable...The wirelessness is the very best thing ever! Listening to stereo in surround sound mode SUCKS. Listening to surround sound in stereo mode SUCKS.Though i suppose that is to be expected. The bass is very distorted, explosions and such come by means of as some type of staticy rumble that makes me mad. The stereo sound mode pretty substantially sounds cheap. Its actually shallow sounding on the low end sounds.... it makes me sad... The stereo makes me hate it but the surround sound is so excellent i just cant bring myself to ever portion with them. These replaced a pair of 40 dollar ABS AZ-1's that i used for virtually a year and whilst these factors (sadly) don't come close to those in top quality of stereo sound, they fairly significantly exploded every little thing i thought i knew about surround sound.

I've employed this with skype and the picture good quality is basically awesome. Not only is the picture hi-def high quality but the tracking of movement is quite impressive and rarely causes ghost images or jumping while you move. It also has some cool video effects such as particular avatars, props, and filters (such as drawing the video in 'chalk') that comes with it and you can download much more for free of charge. You can even make a few yourself. The face tracking for the avatars doesn't perform that nicely if you have glasses or are wearing a headset. Getting visible facial hair seems to impact it as properly. A function arround I identified for the face tracking was to turn on the avatar and remove your glasses/headset until the configuration is carried out and then commonly you can put them back on and have it work with out too much of an issue.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:-Power button doesnt always reconize being pushed

Pros:-No wires to get in the way-Great sound-Sturdy Construction
Comment:
Headset working great and has superb range being wireless, I can hear stuff even if I decide to go to the otherside of the house. The microphone took a little work to get it to stay exactly where I wanted it but it doesnt move from its location once its there. The power button can sometimes being annoying when powering the headset on and off it seems like you need to hold the button in for 5 seconds for them to turn off but sometimes a quick push will do it aswell. Battery life is good so far at about 8 hours of use aswell as having charge and play which is nice although you are tethered to the computer at that point.

The 7.1 sound is wonderful, the wireless is handy and has great range and battery life. Every person has told me the mic sounds excellent in game. I've employed them in Team Fortress two and Starcraft 2 a lot, I just began making use of them in LOTRO too. None so far. A bit of weight, but they are wireless so it's expected. Not genuinely a bother at all.

I upgraded from a turtle beachs and I must say these are amazing. I was excited as I had done my research before hand, and so far they lived up to my expectations. The sound quality is great, I played Bad company 2 on Wartapes settings withe the virtual surround on(which can easily be turned on and off with a witch on the headset) and all I can say is WOW! Not they feel so good on my head I could play all day, if the battery allowed, it only has 10 hours of life, but you can charge it with the chord and play at the same time so thats ok. Id rate this headset a 8/10 easy. Thanks NCIX!!!

These headphones are terrific! I got them when I wanted to locate wireless headphones to use and to treat myself. So, I went on-line and was browsing wireless headphones and whilst wireless headphones aren't that inexpensive, I identified these and was like wow these are 7.1 surround sound and a mic. Thats ideal. The material is plastic, doesn't seem poorly constructed but rather mindfully believed out. The microphone works fantastic for video chatting, and the noise cancellation works fantastic. The cushion on the ears is wonderfully comfortable, even though wearing them for hours at a time. The volume is easily controlled by the scroll on the left ear and there is a mute button too. Owned for 3+ months and have not had a dilemma but. Only for computer

Comment:
I definitely deliberated about this acquire, due to the fact I do use my USB headphones a lot (largely for conference calls and music), and I wanted something with solid battery life, good construction, features that produced sense. Most importantly I want something that works with no any fiddling in Linux, OS X and windows. I'm pleased to report these are truly plug-and-play in Linux and OS X (and probably windows, but I installed the drivers anyway), and offer you all the capabilities they promise. They're a massive heavy but comfy nonetheless. I have a largish head, so your mileage could vary. I also enjoy the fact that raising the microphone will mute it, plus you have a dedicated mute button and the mute light works in both cases. In my opinion, they sound great, both for listening and for those that get to hear my dulcet tones in meetings. They have adequate noise isolation that it makes hearing other people simpler in calls. Of course, a lot of of the touted attributes like 7.1 and the hot buttons won't work out of the box in any operating technique, and not at all on Linux or OS X, but those aren't incredibly useful things for me. Chances are if you care you're running windows and that's not a limitation for you. Range is very good, but originally I was making use of them on a personal computer appropriate next to my main wireless access point and it knocked some computers off the network when in use. Relocating it fixed the challenge. They creak a bit when you're moving around. I don't believe others can hear it though. It's a bit odd to hear yourself speak due to the noise isolation. I'll get employed to it. Somewhat pricey, but an amazing investment if you have to be on conference calls a lot of hours a day. The fact that they're fairly large makes it clear I'm on calls and shouldn't be bugged. They don't need to have to know you're listening to music instead, just go ahead and lower that boom mic.

The sound from this headset is wonderful. Does not hurt the ears, as some posters mentioned. It's actually extremely comfortable. This was fantastic for me, except.... ....for that MIC, as an additional poster has already mentioned. When talking with some friends on Skype, they pointed out that there is constatnt static noise when I'm not speaking. When I turn off the mic, it goes away. I haven't played with any of the settings, so possibly I can tone it down, but it absolutely puts a dent in the overall good quality of the product. If I cannot resolve this static coming from the mic, I wull have to regretfully return these and look for some thing else.

I purchased these immediately after going via multitudes of wired headsets, due to the fact of the location of my tower to my desk, I have a tendency to run over the cables w/ the desk chair and destroy them. These seemed to be precisely what I necessary, nevertheless, I was a bit leery following reading some of the reviews on here. Some complaining about support for Ventrilo, however, the newest version of Vent has a particular update for this headset, I've had no problems. I use Skype, I'm an avid PC gamer and watcher of movies and listener of music, and this headset has done nothing short of leave me in awe. The surround sound is remarkable, I was watching a movie last night, a door was opened in the movie from behind and I turned about thinking it was the door behind me. It's that very good. It doesn't make my coffee. You seriously get what you pay for. I've learned from experience not to obtain PC accessories that aren't produced by Logitech.

I am a function from house tech and I was excited to get the Logitech G930 headset. I am an avid fan of Logitech goods. This was a very good headset when it worked. It did work 10 hours a day as they mentioned it would and I had the mobility to get up and move as I want with out removing the headset as it was primarily used as a VOip phone. It shut off soon after inactivity to save battery and I adore that I was able to setup the g buttons for in-gaming macros and music. The surround sound was true to its nature and I was able to detect a number of sounds that my two.1 speakers couldn't deliver. The charge soon after a couple of weeks only held for a couple of hours. I contacted Logitech and they sent a replacement battery which did function---for a brief time. Then this just recently I had to play with the wire just to get it to charge. Nowadays it stopped charging....I contacted Logitech and they are sending me the G35 wired headset. Newegg has constantly been good quick deliveries and prompt service so I will usually stay a loyal consumer. Logitech has been just as excellent delivering the same service. I gave Newegg four eggs for selling a item that does have problems. I am not totally knocking the headset but possibly mine was a fluke. I would prefer to go with the wired over wireless just to avoid these problems!

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:People in vent and gamechat aren't amused when they find out I was talking to em in the bathroom.

Pros:I can walk all over the house and still enjoy a 7.1 sound experience without bugging anyone.

Honestly what could possibly be bad about this headset? Probably the biggest upgrade I've ever made for a headset. I used to sound like I was in space with my old dinky microsoft wireless headset. I've been able to walk 20 feet without disconnecting, I've also been able to microwave some popcorn without any interference even while within 3 feet of the microwave. Sadly I did not purchase it through NCIX since I found a Amazon seller that sold it for quite a bit cheaper + free shipping =(.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:Power button is a little finicky. The plastic covers on the structure connected to each ear piece are soft, and make a lot of noise if you move your jaw much.

Pros:Bass is deep and powerful (my ears vibrate, given the right tune)7.1 virtual surround is decent, doesn't stand out against the competition thoughWireless performance is great! I can walk around my entire house while chatting or listing to music with NO static at all.Mic quality is top notch10 Hours battery life is great, although not enough because...... I can wear them all day. Nice and comfy.

Overall I've been nothing but impressed with this headset. Having just been using the Razer Megalodons, there is no comparison. The G930s destroy my old headset in every way possible. The macroable buttons could use better support from logitech, but custom plug ins can be found to give you additional functionality with stuff like skype, if you're creative. One of the best headsets around.

Logitech G930 Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Cons:sometimes makes popping sounds when plugged into certain USB ports. 7.1 is disappointing.

Pros:good sound, good range, very clear mic, decent voice morphing capabilities
Comment:
I got this a little under a month ago, so far I am very pleased.I was worried when I plugged it in and it was making popping noises. before trying to replace it, I tried plugging it into a different plug and the sound cleared up entirely.when you try to listen to stereo audio with the 7.1 on, it becomes somewhat muddy and hollow. but not to bash it, the 7.1 works well considering it is a single driver when you are listening to multi directional audio such as games and movies.logitech has improved their wireless from my last wireless headset, I can make it to any point in my house and can wander around outside some (mind you I get strange looks when I do that). as well as it is not disrupted much by microwaves now.quite comfortable, but as was stated in other reviews I have seen, they get warm if you use them for a long time. there is some creaking in the frame, but it is easily ignorable.battery life is great and the charge time is excellent as well.I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless gaming headset.I kind of wish there was a 4.5 star option, because this is very close to perfect for what I was looking for, but the muddy audio forced me to drop  it some.

Pros:Comfortable. They look good. They're wireless.

I couldn't be more disappointed. I had money for a new headset and needed to replace my beloved SteelSeries 5HV2. I wanted to go wireless, and since I'd heard good things about the wireless version of this Logitech model, I looked into the G930s. I was pleased to see a bunch of good reviews where people said they were reliable and sounded great. I could have bought any set on the market and I chose this one.I'm still monkeying with the sound settings, but out of the box (with fully updated software and drivers) they don't sound anywhere near as good as the SteelSeries. The sound cuts out completely for about five seconds every five minutes or so (whether or not that would bother you is up to you), and there are faint little clipping sounds that happen pretty much steadily. I thought maybe I just got a bad pair, but now that I've googled these specific issues, it seems most of the people who've purchased them are having similar issues. STAY AWAY. BUY SOMETHING ELSE.Here's a link to Logitech's support forum for more examples of unsatisfied customers:http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Headphones-Headsets-Microphones/bd-p/headphones

Comment:
My first 7.1 headset that I bought was a G35 gaming headset from Logitech and let me tell you, it had some issues. It was bulky, wired, did not let u customize the volume of the speakers and it was not light at all. But when purchasing the G930, Logitech seemed to have listened to the people and fixed most of the main issues that was in the G35. Its lighter, more customizable and has a wireless range of 2.4Ghz which is pretty neat. You can listen to headset while its charging or if you are on the go, you can plug and play without installing the drivers as long as you have to wire that comes with it. But with that being said it does not work with any of the consoles such as the ps3, wii or 360 which is a disappointment cause it sounds so awesome on the PC that if it were made for the consoles it would be epic. The mic is noise canceling and it works very well. I recommend this to anyone that wants to experience true 7.1 surround sound but don't want to spend tones of money on the speakers. This is defiantly better than the BEATS at music because it has 7.1 surround sound which means it has a sub-woofer and 7 speakers while the beats has 2 speakers and an amp power by triple AAA batteries which is LOLZ. Spending $400 on one of those and they wont even give u a lithium ion battery. Sad really. And it is better than the Razer tech ones cause its a)doesn't break easily b)its wireless. The last thing I would say is that one day, the lithium ion battery will die and never be rechargeable again in which case Logitech has cleverly put in instructions on how to remove the battery from the headset and put in new ones which u can buy at a retail store or from logitech website and which will not cost as much as getting a new headset.
