I had the Logitech 880 which lasted for several years before it just stopped charging the battery. The charging cradle had been problematic from the very first day. After several re-cradles of the remote it would usually charge. I would never buy another 880 nor would I recommend it to others. The Harmony One was such a good price that I took a chance on it. I love it. It fits in the charger and charges the first time every time. The remote is very solid and well built. There is a very small lag time between the depress of a button and the response from my tivo, including turning devices on. No problem the 880 did the same thing. I can live with it for peace of mind of having only one remote for all of my devices. If you see this remote on sale I would recommend you buy it you wont regret it.

the logitech tech support is the best i have ever experienced. they stand behind their products like no other company i have dealt with. i had an issue with my panny htib and tech support wrote special code custom made for my system, and were happy to do so. i highly recommend this excellent company.

This remote is awesome. We actually have two of them in our house (one for the upstairs, one for the downstairs). It controls the tv, stereo, cd player, surround sound, dvd player, and the comcast box. It is easy to setup and even easier to use. It was nice to put all of the old remotes in a drawer and be able to leave just this one remote on the coffee table. Great product and definately worth the money.

I have spent 3 days talking to Logitech service to get this remote to work. It turns out the usb cable was defective and now we are having difficulty getting the remote to sync with our Bose home theater system and our cable box. For the amount of money I would expect a better product. At this point I wouldn't recommend it.

The Harmony One replaced four remotes with one easy to use unit. My wife is ecstatic at being able to change from TV to Blueray with one button push. Before it involved putting down the cable remote, finding the TV remote, changing the input on the TV, finding the amplifier remote and changing the input, finding the Blueray remote and starting the disc... Now all with ONE button push (life is better at our house)! The set-up took a few minutes, but you just need to follow the onscreen prompts.

Expensive remote, but works great. I bought this to eliminate the need for 2 remotes and couldn't be happier with the results. I had problems setting it up and the tech support was fantastic.

Replace Harmony 550. Functionality similar, but much more user friendly and display is much easier to see.

I have owned the Harmony 880 for 3 years and wanted to upgrade to a more user friendly remote, and this was the ticket. The touch screen buttons or far more easy to use than the previous designs. I have it even controlling my Roku unit. I own a Samsung TV which has it's own set of challenges with universal remotes. I contacted Harmony's support team and with in 24 hours they sent me step by step pictured instructions how to resolve the issues. Don't be apprehensive in buying this remote if you have been thinking about it. They are there to help you if you need it.

Very easy to program, the hardest part is moving the TV, receiver, dvd, uverse box to get model numbers! A few simple steps with great instructions and it worked perfect the first time I used it.

This remote works with all my home theater equipment. The touch screen makes it easier to use then all the original remote controls I had to use before. A little costly, but to me it was worth it.

This is my third programmable harmony remote. Pros - Power cradle, good construction, fits well in your hand, programmability is great once you spend the time in understanding remote manufacturer's website. Handles most (see Cons) DVR functions very well. Cons - Need hard buttons for List, LiveTV, A, B, C functions for DVR (vice soft buttons). RF would be nice for this remote (without paying 80 USD or more). Overall - A bit pricey, but it really does consolidate remotes - so how much is that worth to you? Tip - For maximum flexibility,programming, all your devices (TV, Cable, Amp, DVD, etc) should have 'discrete' IR commands for Pwr On, Pwr Off, and specific Input (HDMI, Component, TV, etc.) to program any remote to be truly family friendly.

Got this remote before christmas. Got it for a great price. Remote is outstanding. Fits well in hand and the touch screen is capacitive meaning i dont have to press it really hard to register my finger. Has nice features over older harmony remotes. Cons: Doesn't have RF but the new harmony 900 does.

Bought this remote to replace an old Harmony 659. Easy set-up via online interface; comfortable to use and looks great! Would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade.

This remote is terrific and you can't beat the price from here. Best Buy had it for almost $100 more. I love all the features, it controls everything, the macros are awesome. It works with our receiver, tv, blue ray, comcast cable box, and apple tv. It's great. Only flaw - you have to point the remote directly at your components and hold it there for several seconds and hope that everything turns on the way it's supposed to. Occasionally this doesn't happen - so you have to push the help button to get the missing component to turn on or the tv to adjust to the correct input, etc. This happens about 30% of the time, so its quite annoying. This is why I rated the quality and performance a 4. When the remote works, it's unbeatable. When it doesn't its a quick and easy fix, but it's irritating.
