Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse
Comment:
I ordered this mouse a couple weeks back and it has been a dream. So much far better than my final mouse (M500, difficulties with clicking and scrolling.) The on-the-fly sensitivity buttons are fantastic for games and Photoshop. Fits comfortably with my major hand, and I can use both the "claw" and "palm" grip designs with out any situation.Quickly a five-egg product except for the a single problem explained in the cons. As stated before, I've only had the mouse a couple weeks and I've noticed a extremely minor difficulty. Even so, the identical challenge manifested in the final Logitech mouse I had (the M500) and I'm slightly worried that the same factor is going to happen again. The left button on the M500 (and now the MX518), following only a couple of weeks of use, began to feel loose. At this point, I can push down slightly on the button with no a click registering. After a different month or so of use, slightly a lot more pressure was required to execute a click. A couple months later, the difficulty got so undesirable that anytime I left-clicked and dragged downward, the click would cease registering. Please note that only the quite very first issue (loose feeling of the button) has shown itself but I am extremely worried that this is going to come about to my MX518. Following the complete fiasco with the M500, I wasn't going to obtain a different Logitech mouse. When I was purchasing around I sorted by rating and the MX518 was one particular of the highest rated mice. Studying the critiques, it seemed the mouse was rather durable so I purchased it. I undoubtedly hope I won't have a different ordeal. Also, I've usually believed the gray dented texture on the mouse looked ridiculous, and considerably prefer the blue and black texture. No major deal even though.

Finest mouse I've ever employed. Not to mention its one of the few left with a 'middle' button. None, other than ergonomic consistency between models (see my 'thoughts' below) I've been working with Logitech mice for YEARS. I graduated from the mx510 to mx518 as soon as it was released and havent thought about changing because. I was so pleased that I purchased yet another one particular (as backup) just in situation my existing one particular goes bad (or if the mx518 is no longer sold).See I am a fan of the middle mouse button, its really essential for gaming (fps) for me. And not also numerous firms nevertheless incorporate it in their mice. So I recently opened the second one thats been sitting in box for 1+ year and to my horror it feels like a completely distinct mouse. Now I understand a new mouse really feel versus and old worn mouse feel but the 3 buttons above/below the wheel are practically flat compared to the 1 I am working with now, its essentially difficult and nearly painful to press and hold any of them for 'long' periods - like 'move forward'.I actually plan on obtaining a different one to see if its matches my present one or the newer a single that I bought.

I've utilized this mouse for more than four years now. When i 1st got it was about twice the cost it's at now, for 60$. Back then i hesitated getting such an high-priced mouse, but im glad i did!I've had nothing but excellent issues with this mouse. It's been applied on a everyday basis for computing, gaming (fps & mmo), LAN parties, it's even been dropped it's fair share of times. Nonetheless this mouse powers on.The Scroll wheel, Buttons, and Additional thumb buttons are fantastic, modifying the sensitivity of the mouse on the fly is additional valuable than you'd anticipate as well. Lastly after about 4 Years or much more im starting to put on by means of the Logitec logo on the palm, but honestly, it's not even that negative. My brother's has worn just the paint off, which genuinely isnt a huge deal, the primary portion of the mouse has kept the paint and accomplished nicely for the use i've put into it. I honestly cant feel of something more to create about this mouse with the exception that i wish it wasnt USB. Even so that's mostly a private preference, i just get the USB-> PS2 Connector and im fine, it clears up some space for a USB device or two in the back of the Pc. General, this has to be the greatest BANG per BUCK mouse you can get. Hands Down. Just appear at the other 3.3k Critiques.

This mouse is amazing, ordered it since my DeathAdder broke. It feels a lot superior than the DeathAdder mainly because it doesn't have these indents on the left and suitable mouse button so when you fire a gun ingame you get better feedback, atleast thats what I felt. So if you wanna save some dollars I would say this>DeathAdder none

Had one of the older, wireless versions of this mouse and totally loved it. Decided to go back to a corded mouse and couldn't be happier. Solid construction, ideal length on cord, accurate and swift response. Enjoy the placement of the mouse 4 and five buttons. Nothing at all fits my hand like a Logitech! None, for the price tag this mouse completely can not be beat.

Good size for these with massive hands, incredibly smooth tracking (unlike some optical mice I've used), well-balanced, thumb buttons are situated about perfectly. Even though the additional buttons are programmable they're highly limited in what functions can be programmed, as opposed to some newer Logitech mice, whose added buttons can be programmed to do pretty much something. I know it's software program-associated but I would feel that newer versions of SetPoint that enable control of more functions would be backward-compatible with older designs. Wired (no battery to die but at times resists back motions). Sensitivity was a tiny low out of the box but that was very very easily corrected. Got it here on sale plus a mail-in rebate, so I got a gaming-grade mouse for about what a normal 3-button optical would price at a computer/office-supply retailer.

The adjustable sensitivity helps a lot with shooters. Cord is a small bit brief for my tastes, but it nevertheless made it to my tower just fine. The design gives off the illusion of dents, but it's an entirely flat surface.

Easy use, smooth handling, no difficulties, fairly affordable It doesn't light up? This mouse surpasses most others I have utilised. I have owned and operated (intensely) this mouse for about 3 years, and I can safely say that it is a best mouse. It's simple-obtaining only a handful of programmable buttons (as several as I require). It has served me well via several late night raids and a lot of late night games of CoD.

Swift, Light, with all the buttons you need. Replaced MX510 with this, and miss my autoscroll buttons. They are now sensitivity buttons, and the only way to remap them is with the logitech software program. Lame-o. The G5/G500 feels heavy and I hate the textured prime. The MX510 was my favorite mouse ever and ultimately bit the dust soon after 5 years of service. Hopefully this one particular lives up to its fathers reliability.

Operates exceptionally properly, feels fantastic in the hand. Comes with a decent length cord. Thankfully, it has a cord and isn't wireless. Lots of buttons, all really feel fairly fantastic. The cord is just stiff sufficient to get caught on stuff about my desk. Only mildly irritating. Would be good if the scroll wheel tilted for scrolling horizontally. Didn't realize how substantially I'd miss that.I accidentally hit the "resolution up" button, which puts the mouse in super-slo-mo, with some frequency. Thankfully, you just hit the other and it's fine. Nice feature, but a single I don't use.

This mouse has a good sensitivity. It truly is as nice as the advertising tends to make it seem. Getting all the additional buttons is very nice for playing shooters on. It has an incredibly straightforward glide over all type of surfaces and has just sufficient wight to make it particularly comfy. None I have generally ought the ū mouse retailers have lying about but i have to say I'm Particularly pleased with the product and consider it's actually worth the cost for it.

This is the best mouse your funds can get, in my humble opinion. I have had three of these issues. I do not blame Logitech for my hardcore use of mice. I've had my most recent 1 for a few years now. Smooth, comfy, and sturdy, this is THE mouse. I really hope they don't stop generating these any time soon. Not self cleaning. If you will need a mouse and you do any gaming at all, appear no additional.

Excellent looksFits my big hands far better than most mice.Extremely happy None Laser is in middle of mouse so tracking is not skewed by the standard arc you wrist causes your hand to make. Tends to make for a better user knowledge than you have with mice which have the laser on the outer edge.
