this mouse has no bluetooth dongle. And my laptop doesnot have bluetooth on board. So now I have to buy a separate dongle too. If I get this thing working I will update my review.

Just bought this to use with my brand new Acer Aspire 5740 also purchased from your company. Easy install. The problem is that it has to be reconnected manually every time the laptop is powered up. Not a simple task. There is nothing on the LogiTech support site that addresses this problem. I am very tempted to send it back.

After setup the mouse worked perfectly, but it doesn't seem to allow acceleration options when moving from one position to another on a screen. Otherwise it's fine.

It is a mouse and it works without any problems. It doesn't cook or clean but it does get me around the computer. I purchased it because it had blue-tooth technology. My only concern is it's a little pricey for a mouse.

Looks good, works good. (Works WELL, I know).I love not having the USB dongle like on my previous mouse. Took me a while to set up on my Thinkpad though, because I didn't realize that I had to turn the WiFi switch on to turn the Bluetooth on.(Work computer. I thought they'd be separate!). Love the on/off switch too. Links quickly once I turn it on, nothing else I need to do.

Installation process indicates compatibility issues with windows 7 and offers driver updates. However, hardware was recognized immediately with windows 7 and works flawlessly. Go figure. I love this bluetooth mouse!

I wasn't sure about a bluetooth mouse, but liked the idea of no receiver taking a USB port. The V470 arrived and communicated with my Acer immediately, no problems. The on off switch on the mouse is a nice addition to keep battery drain to a minimum. Functionally, it's a mouse with two buttons and a wheel. Nothing complex, but adequate.

Using it with an ASUS netbook. Set up easily, and seems to work every time. No experience with battery life as yet.

I reviewed this mouse a while before purchasing, but didn't check my laptop's Bluetooth chip manufacturer. That makes a big difference, I have an ACER America laptop 6920g, awesome laptop, with a Foxcomm Bluetooth chip in it. This mouse is only compatible with the Broadcomm/Widcomm Bluetooth chip. So my suggestion to any body looking to purchase any Bluetooth device, check the Bluetooth chip manufacturer of your Laptop or PC for compatibility before you buy.

I don't usually like a mouse that is small, but this is very comfortable to use.

This mouse feels comfortable, looks and works great. I made a few mistakes buying it even though I researched long enough and choose this one. First of all, I was positive my new HP laptop was Bluetooth capable since I saw the Bluetooth logo in my Control Panel...not. Be sure you have the Bluetooth logo down by your clock. Second, I thought I was purchasing a mouse with a "zoom" that would actually magnify...not the same thing. The zoom on this mouse works good, as long as you want to click the scroll as a shortcut to zooming in particular programs that have that capability. If you want to have a button you click to have a nice magnification of the screen, you will have to find another mouse that will do that.

This product comes with a drawstring pouch, batteries included for mouse. It has a nice feel to it, although I have not used it extensively. Works well with my Dell laptop running Windows XP SP3. I have not had any connection problems so far. Did not test the customization software or tilt wheel function.

had problems connecting to viasta 32/64. Works great and easily an Linux: ubuntu/fedora.

This is the best portable class bluetooth mouse on the market. I have tried many portable cordless and bluetooth mice over the years but this one just feels right. Smooth and precise. If you are in the market for a portable wireless mouse try this one. You won't be disappointed.

Mouse works great with vista 64 bit easily paired with bluetooth

This mouse works fine with vista 64. There are some minor issues, such that if the mouse turns off during vista, it sometimes requires to restart window. Or the mouse just won't connect. Also when putting in batteries, must becareful not to push in too hard or it may jam the buttons.

An excellent choice for a wireless mouse. It works as advertised and is programmable for your indidual requirements. It's small size fits easily in the hand and makes it more convenient for mobile use.

Although this product claims vista compatability, and the LogiTech website offers downloads for the various operating systems for the V470, this product does NOT work on Vista 64. The mouse is recognised, will temporarily connect to the bluetooth in the laptop, and software installs, but the mouse does not remain connected, and does not function. Kensington Bluetooth pocket mouse DOES work on Vista 64 Logitech V470 DOES work on XP Pro. I bought 2 and neither work.
