Employed it on a Duo two Quad on a program I just put together. It appears to be working, and the price was correct. Other evaluations stated you could get 2 utilizes out it. I guess I got sloppy due to the fact I got just one, but that's all I necessary. To spread the grease, a reviewer recommended working with a credit card to evenly spread the grease. I tried the plastic cover from the motherboard CPU connecter. That didn't function that wonderful. The reviewer discussed about obtaining an even coat. At least I got some all more than, perhaps not evenly.

it's affordable, it functions, and it's got sufficient for a full treatment on a cpu. only sufficient for 1 cpu, shipping was high for some thing this inexpensive, there was no spreader get what you pay for.

Price tag none I utilised this for my phenom upgrade, works excellent.. idles around 46 deg. cel. and 51 under load making use of OEM heatsink.

i like the quanity of the material. there was sufficient for one application and it won't be wasted sitting around. the consitance was also about the similar that came with my proc. none

Value and functions properly on single core CPUs. I bought this tube about 5yrs ago when I built my P4 and AMD Sempron 3100+ systems.Worked extremely nicely on those builds.Not positive if it went negative from sitting around? It does not like my Phenom IIx2 545 unlocked to a x4. I built my Phenom program a couple months ago.I came across this leftover tube about a week ago.I hesitated to remove sink and fan just to add this, as the AMD supplied thermal paste was giving me idle temps of 32c and max temp more than 12hrs of prime95 was 62c.I cleaned sink and cpu.Installed about a rice size strip on cpu placed sink on and clamped.Ran it off and on a couple days.Then took readingsMy temps elevated.I now idle around 36c and load at 69-70c. Like I mentioned possibly it went poor from sitting? Doubt it tho.It was capped and even in a zip lock bag.Sitting in my function bench drawer in my basement I gave it 3 stars mainly because on single cores it works very well. But if you install it with your stock cooler and take away the stock paste on a x2 or x4? You'll get negetive results.Even when I relock my cores and test I nonetheless get 34c idle and 66c load.(Which is higher than unlocked with stock paste) Live and learn I guess.I just ordered some AS 5.

Comments: This stuff is okay for the price, I got it on sale but 3 weeks later I got the very good stuff ceramique from AS. its worth the couple of extra dollars.

Works fine. Brought my temperature down many degrees. Falsely advertised. I bought it simply because it said it thermal conductivity was 7.5W/m-K but the actual container just says higher than two.17W/m-K. It will most most likely perform as effectively as other far more costly brands just wish it was essentially 7.5W/m-K.

looks okay um well it created my temps go up. I had to order arctic silver five and that stuff functions.

It functions at least as superior as the thermal paste which was already on my heatsink. (Prior to accidentally wiping it off) It would be nice to have a nifty way to apply it in the thing squares that are on new heatsinks when you get them. If your employing a a fast single core cpu you can't go without this stuff. Its no better than the paste you get with a new cpu/heatsink combo but if you dont have any or have smudged it off this will replace it.

low-costkeeps my cpu from becoming fried not the greatest performer (artic silver is) I wanted affordable thermal paste for a cpu swap. My prescott celeron D runs at 32 degrees C on a stock fan, I'm happy.employing a grain of rice sized application (correct quantity) I estimate there is sufficient for 5 cpu's not two as an additional reviewer stated.

Appear, its low cost. all this stuff is the identical. don't listen to people saying it sucks due to the fact they are overclocking their systems and think this is a miracle cure. if you require something like that, fork over cash for liquid cooling. folks leaving dumb comments on the products page. If you want, you can buy the stuff with silver in it. its expensive, and will make you really feel critical.

Its thermal paste and does specifically what its supposed to do. In the specifications for this item it says that its thermal conductivity is 7.5w when in fact its two.5woh yeah and it didnt come with cocked sausage Got this to replace the thermal grease on my moms old 1ghz p3. did its job and lowered the temps by 10c.

Does its job! Lowered my typical idle temp from 93-97F to about 86-88! For some low cost stuff it works rather properly! Spreads well, clean. Non really. Shipping too substantially

it lowered temps from 45 to 39 on my pals cpu so its very excellent for such a low-cost price compared to Artic silver five none

Price None. I got this for a older laptop or computer that the CPU doesn't get extremely hot and it gets the job done.

none My Athlon 64 3000 temps shot up after applying this stuff. It used to run at a measly 25 degrees celcius under load, now it's at 40 degrees. Don't buy this.

its grease, it goes on and stays on.. how considerably can you say and no way of truly knowing if it does its job.. so i gave it five stars anyways trigger it came in a tube and went on my cpu didnt come with no cost fries

It works, not as superior as the artic silver but it works, so the difference in thermal conduction is around .01 -.2 *C per CMή that is truly insignificant taking into consideration the average processor die is only about 1.five cmή none seriously If this product isnt working for you, you arent employing it right. It is meant to be spread in a really thin layer (perfect conditions would be about as thick as 5 sheets of paper). If you want a quick fix attempt toothpaste with petrolium jelly, sunscreen, or diaper rash cream... They all include zinc oxide the main ingredient in cheaper thermal pastes (again temporary solutions)...
