Comment:
Looks cool, I guess?Other than that, I couldn't recommend this card. I've had two now, and both have been buggy. I plug it in by way of HDMI to my 42" 1080 LCD as the monitor (media/gaming machine in living space). Maybe that's why I have had difficulties and other individuals haven't. Drivers are awful, card has induced system instability from day a single. Screen will flash to a solid color and lock up. Tough drive lights will continue to flash, at times audio will even continue to play, but challenging reset is required. Thanks to this card my personal computer goes via about a dozen challenging reboots a week (NOT good!).I have updated the Catalyst drivers continuously hoping that some day AMD will get it proper and I won't have to throw a 赨 card in the garbage. I finally give up. Employed to construct about a dozen systems per year, but very first construct in a even though, and don't remember having this substantially trouble with a technique in practically ten years. Program instability from day 1. At this point I'm on my second processor, second motherboard, third set of RAM, and second MSI 5770. Still I can't use this laptop or computer for additional than a few hours without a tough reset. I grew tired a although back about obtaining bounced from manufacturer forum to manufacturer forum--"No, it's the other component's fault, trust us!" MSI was no diverse. They've known that they have an HDMI audio bug in Flash. Flash ten.1 seems to have fixed that. But nevertheless have driver crashes in Netflix fairly significantly consistently. Now for the very first time I'm getting difficulty with video driver crashes in gaming as nicely. Screen goes to a solid color and freezes though game audio continues. No way out but to reboot. I know the video card is the culprit since a couple of occasions the driver has recovered and tattled on itself. Fantastic tiny card and I do mean small compared to the nvidia monsters that applied to dwell in my compy. Both cards run extremely cool-at least 15c cooler. Play WoW, Oblivion, Fallout3, etc., without having a hiccup. Nicely, the drivers leave a lot to be desired. Second card-in crossfire-doesn't run at idle, usually pinged at 875 mhz. Discovered a way to get it to idle but have to fiddle around in the registry to accomplish it. CCC is nearly useless but Afterburner gets the job carried out. Haven't oc them but mainly because haven't truly required to. A very huge con that has nothing to do with the hardware or Egg is the rebate from MSI. Be aware that if you buy two of these tiny fellas only One will count toward the rebate!! Thanks for keeping my additional 10 bucks MSI. I'm confident as heck going to keep in mind this PITA down the road when I'm picking out new gear. So knocking one particular egg off since of the buggery driver, CCC, and MSI rebate annoyance.

Quiet and plays all my games on max settings. My 1st card's HDMI port stopped operating 1 month in. Had to spend 11 dollars to ship it out to MSI and had to wait two-3 weeks for a new one particular. And just a couple of days ago the video card just stopped operating all together. One more 11 dollars and far more waiting. Radeon HD 5770 is fantastic. MSI is a terrible firm with poor client service. To start, I was upgrading from a 3870x2 so Anything was a step up.1.worked proper out of the box2. nice designthree. stays cool4. tiny design5. plays video games very well (see other thoughtsƠ. doesnt draw alot of power7. well-identified manufacturer8. decent warranty - who knows if it will be honored though Not that a lot of cons...1. feels a bit flimsy when placing it in the case. I practically had to hold it like a newborn child. was scared i would break it.two. <insert witty comment here> Im starting to trust MSI a lot more when purchasing components. I got a MSI motherboard with this and it works flawlessly like twins separated at birth. In all, this is a large upgrade from what i had previously skilled. This gpu was component of a new rig i built for myself as gaming pc / hobby (first develop). The prior rig i had was terrible so i sold itIt plays all my games great! I even get an typical of 40fps on GTA4!!! (i know its CPU intensive but your gpu does have an effect as properly). I am curious to see if it will do any far better in crossfire, but possibly upgrading to a 6 series MSI card would be better and leaving this as a HTPC gpu could be in the works.Overall, its a great mainstream card for the money. This card can handle it all. I can quickly get wonderful framerates in BFBC2 and WoW. It's overclock capabilities are superb, got mine stable at 950 to core and 1300 to memory, even though I could undoubtedly do additional. With overclock Idle at 33C and under load in no way goes any higher than 70C. MSI afterburner is great. Gets a 7.4 in Windows experience index. Top quality item. The DP to DVI adapter doesn't let me plug in a DVI-VGA adapter to it, so I can't plug in 2 of my old VGA monitors ( oh well, no biggy) Honestly, it felt flimsy when I was holding it. Don't get me wrong, this card has top top quality components in it, but the heat sink just felt like it would be too effortless to break off. But actually, know your own strength when handling pc parts and it's fine. Average card does what its supposed to quiet and cool, cost is a plus. This card cannot be compared to Nvidia's greater end cards, the efficiency isnt even close. Msi's heatsink keeps this card significantly cooler than stock design (rarely goes over 70 celcius in games). Msi Afterburner has a ton of awesome features such as unlockable voltage controll which permits a a lot more stable overclock (im at 1.275v, 975MHz on core, and 1375MHz on memmory). Runs fantastic 鳖 fps in L4D2, 110 fps in MW2, and 45fps in GTA IV). Requirements yet another dvi output. Only 1 crossfire bridge so no tri or quad crossfire. I have owned for 5 months and no issues. I am planning on getting another 1 to crossfire. My system: mobo- Msi 890fxa-gd70, cpu- AMD Phenom 925, ram- 8gb ddr3 1333MHz.

Ran good proper out of the box. Downloaded most recent drivers from MSI's internet site and ran every little thing wonderful. Running Fallout: New Vegas and Borderlands at Ultra High with only minimal stuttering, probably due to my really old Pentium 4 processor. Quite Huge. Had to move my tough drive down a couple of slots to get it to fit. Really great performance and cooling. Fantastic Purchase.

Overclocks like crazy. It's inexpensive! Quite quiet compared to my old HD3850. Two of these cards in crossfire will push max settings in just about any game. none. for ฤ dollars much more you can get a 6850 and It is just as potent as the 2 5770's I purchased. Now my upgrade alternatives are a bit restricted.

Solid upgrade for any individual coming from an 9XXX card. Installed it in my son's pc, and he plays FPS and MMORPG all the time. He can run just about almost everything at acceptable framerates None As a reasonably cost mid range video card, it does what's expected of it.

Overall performance was alright when it worked. Noticeably slower than my old 4850, but it ran much cooler and quiter. The fans nonetheless spin which is kinda cool to appear at I guess. Died after a month and a half of moderate use and I can't return it/get ANY support. Didn't run games as nicely as all these critiques would lead you to believe. Never ever overclocked and now I'm stuck with a new computer with no graphics card. I'm accomplished with these MSi and ATI cards. Dual fans are good.Looks good.Runs Nice.Haven't overclocked it, didn't feel the require for a HTPC. It's a massive improvement over my old 8800GT. Other Radeon cards can get you additional FPS for the money. Getting stated that, my use isn't gaming, it's video processing and it does fine. An additional web site reviewed cards for HTPCs and this one was ranked at the best. Well deserved. It plays HD movies fantastic. Also submits audio though the HDMI cable by default. 1 cable and I'm all carried out.

Nothing wrong with the card itself while it lasted, remain's cool and run smoothly. Attempted to RMA to MSI, waited two weeks then called and emailed, didn't hear anything for a week until soon after my second email they just said they were gonna check into it and give me a refund. I have tracking and they sent me a email saying they received it and that was it. Conclusion: I am still waiting on my refund, have but to hear anything else, other companies have sent a new card inside 3 days ƒ year old lifetime warranty cards). I have always loved MSI, I still have no clue why I am recieving such horrible support. Even if I get my cash back it doesn't make up for the 3+ weeks it took them to get anything carried out IF i get it back this week. (P.S. their office and where I sent it is an hour away a couple cities over......)I have bought their items for years and first one I have had to RMA and it's altering my mind about the company. I will now warn all my buyers about this problem with the corporation.I nonetheless don't know what to expect to recieve since I got the refund e-mail then a different saying they will get back me about it asap. Waiting and checking the mail. Quiet, overclockable, very good software program utilities. When it works it works fantastic. It only works great for 10 minutes before the 1st crashes begin. It could be that my certain system setup isn't compatible with this card (MSI 890FXA-GD70 mb, Crucial DDR3 4GBx2, Win7࿠), Corsair PSU 750W). All investigation pointed to driver problems causing the driver restarts in 2D (desktop) and black screen/freeze in 3D. I bought this thinking that MSI mobo + MSI graphics card really should be a win, proper? Not so. RMA... am attempting NVdia for the initial time ever now. This is sure to be a driver concern, but study showed folks having the very same complications from early last year, so boo to AMD for not resolving this. Tried most recent MSI, ATI, stock Microsoft, and drivers on the CD. All produced the identical crashes (amdkmdap not responding). Purchased this card right after working with my integrated video on my mobo (ASUS M488TD-Evo) with a Radeon 4250HD chipset. Plugged it in and the drivers installed speedily, installed Afterburner and I Really like It. The performance is wonderful, no lag time on all of my games from StepMania to CoD MW2. Afterburner is amazing, the customization is uncomplicated to teak for specific games that just need a little extra power, which this vehicles throws around with gesto. The only con I have is this fan noise(a very small con). When the Fan speed is set to max, it can be heard no the hall. Which is fine by me, just makes people today come into my room and wonder what that is. More time to show off my rig. I Really like NEWEGG shipping. The shipping was cost-free for 3 day UPS. I got the card the next morning. It's nice living an hour and a half from the Warehouse in Edison, NJ. :-)

Looks incredibly nice. Two fans for increased cooling capability.Powerful little card for casual gaming (I'd suggest a second for greater gaming.)I played Fallout 3 with every setting maxed on 1920x1080 resolution, 4x AA and I never as soon as saw a single drop in my flawless framerate, even when I fired the Experimental MIRV. I was very impressed. Can't wait to get a second one to crossfire in my rig when I get paid..!Appears to run extremely cool!Cost was very excellent too. :) In a sense, the card is "too very good"... when I attempt to run some of my much less-new games the games will sometimes complain that my graphics card isn't up to spec for the game, when in reality the card is far beyond the specs for the game's requirements. Which in and of itself is extremely annoying. The autorun on my driver CD also didn't work, especially the button you're supposed to push to install your drivers, that button didn't function at all. I was a bit annoyed because I required to go navigate by means of the CD to locate the suitable drivers. The heatsink feels a little flimsy when you push on it with a finger, but it appears to remain on okay, not positive why it feels so rickety though. In retrospect, the game issues I was having are most likely more due to the games than the card. So don't be discouraged by that.
