Dropped my Celeron 3.12 from 51 degrees to 41.5 at idle. Seems pretty quiet. Good value for a small price. |

I put this sink and fan on my P4 3.0Ghz, and there is not difference in noise level. It is equally as loud as the stock P4 sink and fan, but it does keep it a bit cooler. I was looking for something much more quiet than this. |

Much beyyer than expected! In conjunction with 120mm Thermaflow case fan, my core temps on a P4 3.0E Presscott went from 47-50 idle to 35-37, loaded from mid 60s to 40-41. This was my first order from TigerDirect, and service was excellent. Thanks, Y'all. |

I originally bought a “universal” fan that fits a Socket A and Socket 478 because of the pretty blue LEDs, Big Mistake! It would overheat when trying to run a game (72ºc+). I put this Masscool Copper Core on a P4 3.0 ghz Socket 478 and it Rocks! It idols at 35ºc and tops out at 52ºc when running a HD game. You can't go wrong with this one for a Socket 478. |

Used in my 2.6 Ghz intel, and its runs perfectly. Minimal sound, and keeps it between 45-48. great fan for the price, especially if noise is your problem. |

I bought this cooler a couple of months ago and didnt think it was going to work for my celeron D 3.06. The low temps never went down past 115 deg F, not recomended but until recently I learned that you can lap your processor. I did and now my low temp is 104 and my high is around 126. WOW what a diffy. So for all you peeps that cant get it to work, try the lap trick, if you know what your doing. |

I bought this for my wifes PC, which is running a Prescott core 2.8GHz. The Prescotts are notorious for running on the hot side, so I was very pleased to see it keeping the CPU in the lower 30's. (My 3.0GHz Prescott on stock idles at 43) Very quiet fan and extremely easy to install. I am so impressed with it that I'm going to be purchasing another for my CPU. |

Was hoping for a little less noise with this unit. It's by far the noisiest component in my machine, though it does keep the Celeron D 3.06 cool at about 31C. |

keeps my 2.93 celeron overclocked to 3.25 at a stable 30C idle and 58C load. Not really sure if this could cool a 3.4 P4 but overall its a good product and keeps my celeron pretty cool |

This cpu fan is awesome! It makes virtually no noise upon system startup, unlike my old fan, and it brought down the temperature from 150* F to 110*! It also solved my problem! Thanks! |

Impressive, & Consistant. This unit has been keeping my P4 3.0 MHZ @ 31 degrees for the past year. Im always looking for something newer and better and so far the products i've seen don't cool much better than this one. I also approve of the volume at which this unit functions (nice & quiet). |

i like it. It's got a great price and is a decent product. 2.93ghz celeron d at 44 deg. celcius. not great but not bad. it has thermal stuff on it already which isn't a good thing. it's better to put it on yourself, plus that way you have extra. w/e. |

This is a great fan, better than the slightly cheaper Ultra fan. Keeps my Celeron 3.06Ghz running cool, and it is very quiet. Plus, if you do not have thermal gel, this fan has thermal compound applied already, altough thermal gel is better. |

Ive tried this cpu cooler for my p4 2.6 hyperthreading, and this is a good cooler but Check out Thermalright's xp 90 it droped my idle temp down to 91 degrees F and even better 94-5 degrees F under extreme load, and Im overclocking to 3ghz.. just look them up. just a sugjestion, This cooler here is what I had and it is nice but not even close to the best for 478
