Smooth, short keystrokesEasy, minimal designProgrammable buttonsAdore the calculator buttonQuite low-cost Minimal design won't appeal to individuals who want all the bells and whistles. I've been making use of this keyboard more than four years and it's the very best I've ever had. The keys feel similar to good laptop keys ( low profile, brief throw. ) The slight curve makes it far more comfy for lengthy typing, but doesn't interfere with gaming the way some ergo designs do.The CC 2000 leaves out pointless keyboard characteristics and keeps issues you really use, like media control and a devoted calculator button. Without pointless additions, the keyboard stays smaller and light ( it's not a compact size, but it's effortless to take to a LAN celebration. ) The buttons across the best are also programmable with MS IntelliType software program so you can remap most of them to other tasks if you like ( Forward/Back perform effectively for Next/Previous track. )Whilst you can devote additional dollars on a fancier keyboard, this packs just the essentials for ฤ. Following 4 years of heavy programming, long gaming sessions, and typing 20-page English papers, only the shift important wore out.

Keys are smooth and silent. There is no fn important. The design is terrible. When typing I mis-click about 25% of the keys I press. What's the point of obtaining utilised to a keyboard like this when you have years of muscle memory on a normal keyboard, and if you do get attached to this you are going to forget how to use a standard a typical keyboard, which you will need to have to use again at some point in your life. I guess it's produced for individuals with carpal tunnel but if you don't have some sort of muscular-skeletal problemit's going to be additional difficulty than it's worth.

I can not discover anything wrong with this keyboard. It's inexpensive and performs well..that suggests efficient. No fancy points, fundamental keys. Nothing I guess Microsoft ought to push much more for supplying a lot more hardware goods.

I have owned this keyboard for about 4 years. It is connected to my principal computer, which my wife also commonly utilizes. I am a hardware reviewer for 3 Computer internet sites and sometimes write essays as lengthy as 12K-15K words. This keyboard has typed literally hundreds of thousands of words just in my personal function, and that doesn't contain forums, FB, e mail groups, etc. It has been dropped about 4 feet to the tough floor dozens of occasions, dangled by the cord additional times, been eaten over literally hundreds of times. I remove crumbs by turning it upside down and pounding the edge of the board on my knees, and occasionally blowing with compressed air at 120 psi. Lastly right after 3 years the board is acquiring a short in the cord exactly where it enters the keyboard, and has begun acting buggy. Definitely none. Definitely I am very hard on keyboards. I doubt if I have ever had 1 that lasted additional than a couple of years. I assume I payed ฟ for this board at Walmart on clearance.

I've owned two of these keyboards, the very first 1 suffered from Numerous spills and being tossed around. The second (one i'm working with now) i use so much the "A" essential's print is coming off. I'm actually amazed that microsoft made such a great keyboard. 1-Pro: It has a slight ergonomic shape, that keeps my hands from finding tired when i'm either gaming or writing papers. 2-Pro: It has flat essential's which are equivalent to notebook keys. That allows for smooth typing, and softer sound for gaming (I can't stand the sound of thicker keys anymore, given that I've owned this) three-Pro: Durable i'm shocked my very first a single lasted half as extended as it did. four-Pro: Inexpensiveness, can\'t beat it for the value. NOT A CON, Even so it doesn't make me coffee. which if they ever choose to make an updated version i hope it does that, and have back lit keys. trigger that would just be tight. If any individual from microsoft see's this recall back lit keys the ones that the letters glow :-D

Low-cost, looks great. Keys cease operating. As soon as I got it there had been a couple that didn't function at very first but then started working, so I believed possibly it just had to be broken in a bit. Now I go away for a weekend and come back and come across 2 much more keys just 'decided' to quit working. A keyboard that doesn't do it's job = 1 egg. Extremely frustrating. Won't buy this keyboard once again.

-Sturdy Construction-Keys type really quietly.-Remappable keys with Microsoft's keyboard software program.-Ergonomic style is really good the moment you have gotten accustomed to it.-Keys depress effortlessly and have the really feel of a good laptop keyboard. Button letters/numbers/symbols don't appear like they are going to final that long, but what do I know? Does not toast my Pop Tarts™ I got this keyboard because it was stupidly low cost and simply because I have had pleasant experiences with previous Microsoft keyboards. Considerably to my chagrin, the keyboard performed even better than I had previously believed attainable: the essential action is smooth, the finish is nice, the ergonomic layout isn't also extreme (easy transition from a conventional keyboard) and the media keys you will actually use are included on the keyboard. If you don't like the back/forward buttons, remap them to next track/previous track with Microsoft's computer software. Straightforward!I think I've identified my "for life" keyboard.

- Ergo Design- Media keys, mute, volume control- Flat / Comfy/smaller than the larger Ergo keyboards- Light weight- MS hotkeys printed- Calculator key is lifesaver - could be smaller- a tiny loud not laptop quiet- purchased 2 someplace else, a single didn't function/keys were bad- only one particular color, somtimes tough to see in the dark smaller and quieter would be nice, would adore to see it in different colors, white, silver, red. Excellent feel of the keyboard. After few years, handful of of the buttons stopped working... dropping the keyboard on the table fixes anything. I only utilized this keyboard for past eight years. I have 8 pcs at work that use this keyboard along with ms mouse. Back in the days, it was ten bucks for keyboard and mouse oem combo. now its 30 some bucks.

I like the soft keys and the way they really feel when typing. This keyboard either has a design flaw or they utilized affordable components or both, mainly because keys just cease working. A very good whack will typically get the keys operating again.

I bought this keyboard a long time ago, used it for many hours of gaming each day over the years, and it's still alive and working! All the keys still work fine. It doesn't have much in the way of extra features, but if you are looking for a reliable keyboard for a low price, then this is the one.

Cons:Cord is shorter than most other keyboards.

Pros:Amazingly light buttons, easy on the wrists, great pricing for a efficient keyboard, Practically spill proof.
Comment:
Just placed another order for this keyboard. Currently running 1 at work and other at home. I've had to replace about 1-2 of these as the keyboard cord can get twisted pretty easy under my work environment. Other than that I love this keyboard!I spill many coffee's on this keyboard, everytime the liquid never gets into the button holes. It is designed so that the liquid sits between the keys, easy for a towel to clean it up.
