Great layout and over all design. They keys are incredibly responsive and hold up more than a extended period of use. Additional function keys are quite helpful. None that I can believe of other than it has a cord, which could be a pro based on what you want. And there is a wireless version anyways. Don't know what particular person is talking about with the space bar. Mine performs perfectly and did on the final one also. This is the second one of these I have owned and it is by far my preferred. I am one particular of these folks that in no way took a typing class, and this keyboard literally taught me to variety correctly. It forced me to study and for that I am thankful. I have tried a lot of other keyboards, and this a single if by far the ideal. Using it now as an add-on keyboard for my laptop when the laptop is connected to an external screen. Don't want to go back to a normal keyboard.

True nice keyboard for ุ. The second Ergo keyboard I have had from Microsoft. Older keyboard lasted 6 yrs before keys started sticking from wear. This 4000 has a great comfortable contoured fit. Genuinely like the raised padded wrist help (removable), programmable keys and the speedy access keys. Keys have a nice really feel and smooth quiet stroke. USB connect, drivers disc and modest manual. None at all.

Fantastic keyboard. It makes you push the buttons down and offers a decent report immediately after pushing them. The space bar is simply accessible from both hands making it less difficult to speed up your typing for the ambidextrous individuals like me, or people today that didn't usually like to type like everyone else does. I'm worried about the essential labeling coming off like a lot of other men and women are commenting on. Only time and use will inform. I switch back and forth from this keyboard to a straight affordable-o that is on some of the computers at perform. It wasn't tricky switching to this keyboard but it does get a little fuzzy switching back and forth amongst them!

Good keyboard, have bought four more than final six years. So excellent I hold buying an increasingly flawed production high quality. New kybd began ignoring control (new browser tab) around 40 days right after installation. Time to locate one more keyboard. MS clearly relegated this product to a third globe production shop

Looks nice and matches black Computer and monitor. Numerous further buttons for widespread tasks. Full size quantity pad. The keyboard controls for volume are particularly valuable when you do not want to alt-tab out of a game to adjust master volume. Like other people have mentioned, the characters printed on a couple of the keyboard keys have begun to put on immediately after a couple months of typical use. The characters on the S and D keys are both half worn away. This doesn't seriously bother me, but I thought I would mention it simply because I would consider this excessive put on for a mid-range keyboard used for two months. Other than the unusual wear on a couple heavily used keys, the keyboard is great.

comfy, perfect shape and angle for my wrists and arms, nice add on manage buttons for vol, web, e-mail, zoom, etc. wonderful looks. space bar. does not to function as smoothly as the other keys but not adequate to take away a rating point, just something I would like to point out. I began to develop wrist pain in my left wrist. Every single time I spent some time on the laptop or computer it would hurt for days. I have only had this keyboard for less than a week and.... no discomfort, gone. For that alone it was worth every single penny.

I've had this same keyboard for 2 years and can't think about getting with out it. I just bought a new one due to the fact the keys had finally began going a bit soft (but nonetheless registered just fine!). It is what it says, natural. Typing for extended periods is simple on your wrists and fingers. The shortcut buttons are simple to reach and the favorite buttons can be changed to whatever you like. They make me use disgusting straight keyboards at work :( As incredible as this keyboard is, it will NOT replace a fantastic woman :( It's worth each and every penny, there is no superior keyboard on the marketplace.

I had this keyboard for a pretty extended time, and it's been my preferred keyboard considering that. They keys have substance to them, and there's just the right quantity of resistance when you go to press one, with out the noise.Ergonomically it's fantastic as well! It's designed for that, I suppose, but I was experiencing the onset of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and use of this keyboard has put that in remission. It's effortless on the wrists. It's a big keyboard, but it's slick looking and has lots of wonderful characteristics and handy buttons.I've employed it for lots of gaming and perform and it's served me nicely. Nevertheless, not too long ago, I spilled milk on it. All over it. Everywhere. It survived, except for the shift crucial and the upper number 3. Even so, those are necessities in gaming and perform in common... So I'm receiving one more a single! I've been working with a few low cost keyboards I had laying around, and boy do I miss this guy. Not milk proof. A++ Wonderful keyboard. Would purchase once more!

Far more comfortable than regular, non-split keyboard layouts. padded wrist rest on the front edge is a nice plus. 4 various orientations based on what's most comfy for your hands. bottom of the keyboard has 7 tiny rubber feet to enable grip the surface of your desk - 2 of them fell off within a day of use. I'll admit the space bar is very loud as other people have talked about despite the fact that I have no difficulty getting it to register on screen. Maybe I strike the keys tougher than the average individual. On a different note - you could notice the front of the keyboard is elevated in the pics. There's a plastic frame that fits to the bottom of the keyboard (you can see the MS logo on it), permitting it to tilt down and away from your hands. This frame is removable and devoid of it, this factor tilts like any other keyboard utilizing flip-out back legs.

If you have been injured or are suffering from discomfort from CTS, once you use this keyboard, you will under no circumstances go back.. ... that is until you spill any liquid on it. I'm 2 for 2 soon after light water spills. Most keyboards would be able to handle a small water. These can not. The electrical elements are not nested on the base of the keyboard either... so I have no notion how this can be such an situation, but it is. Its also extremely incredibly big. I have a extremely nice desk and have difficulties with space along the pull out mouse / keyboard drawer. It operates excellent (besides the annoying back and forward keys correct where your thumbs rest). Your practically superior off grabbing a state of the art hole punch and utilizing that with a simple keyboard rather than spending the money on this a single. The natural spring of the hole punch and its height preserve your fingers and arms ergonomically positioned for about ฮ-ุ dollars less.

I bought this keyboard for operate. It has a comfortable feel, effectively laid out keys, and good important feedback. I am considering buying a second one particular for house. Even though mine is nicely utilized by now, I did originally notice the spacebar issue others have reported. There is not a Windows key on the appropriate side, so locking my XP workstation at the office is a two handed method (left Windows plus L). There is a macro you can apply to a hot crucial to solve for that though. Also the essential faces are starting to wear off. Since I am in a position to 100% touch type, this isn't an issue for me either.

Good keyboard -- I have used this for over two years now and I have in no way when had an problem with it. The only thing is that the black element is not truly cushy but genuinely, not actually a con. I got this from a buddy who utilised it for at least a year or two and now it's over four years old and nonetheless functions wonderful.

I really like the style of this keyboard. It's the most comfy I've yet to try, in particular love the leather-esque rests in the front. The space bar is very strange. If you don't hit it appropriate, it resists as well substantially, generating it at times hard to space. This has the effect of disrupting my flow to the point that I don't feel like I can use the keyboard. (Without going crazy.)

Best keyboard ever. Doesn't look like a normal crucial board could take a munite to get utilized to nonetheless if you just relax and rest the palm of your hand on it as intended you can relax the shoulders more and type away. The ideal factor given that the wheel. In fact I threw out all my other keyboards and purchased all new ergonomic 4000 boards. I own two big networks of my own to run this keyboard is at just about every laptop or computer.

really comfy, fantastic array of customization for function keys, quiet, adjustable heights good for carpal tunnel out of the 3 I've owned all three have just stopped working - commonly only 1 key, in no way the exact same key, generally about 6-13 months after buy. There's no point in shopping for an high priced keyboard when about 9 months or so following you purchase it, One particular key just stops operating without having warning. I never dropped any of the three I've owned. I moved with the very first one particular and the third one, but it didn't adjust the timing of when it suddenly just stopped operating. The initial one particular had a thing spilled on it, but worked just fine after the tactic of turning it upside down on a towel - I thought this had brought on the keys to sort other characters when pressed three months later, and purchased a second 1. The second one particular worked just fine for 9 months, then the space bar and q key suddenly stopped working. This was the keyboard that in no way moved as soon as set up. Thinking possibly a thing got dropped on it, or my cat sat on it, I got a third, and moved three months after obtain. three months right after the move, the w key stopped working. Each and every time, the REST of the keyboard worked with out flaw, except for the 1-2 keys that stopped working. Not worth purchasing at all.

This keyboard was purchased for busy tax office and extended hours preparing. This is the most comfortable, adjustable, natural split keyboards I've ever been chained to, and it is amazing. The price is nicely worth the extra productivity of typing all day without wrist, neck and back pains! One particular or two "Squishy-feeling" key response, otherwise excellent!

I wonder regardless of whether MS guys ever attempted to kind on this thing. The space bar issue is very annoying and makes it useless...

This keyboard is aesthetically pleasing. I'm seriously enjoying the different function buttons. (zoom, back/forward, e-mail world wide web and document controls) It appears many people are unhappy with the space bar. I have no troubles with the space, seems entirely fine (and very) to me. The buttons I do have a issue with are the silver function and programmable buttons along the top rated of the board. Let me be clear, they all function fine. No difficulties there. They just really feel cheep and poorly constructed. They wiggle around and feel like they could fall out (though they don't). Overall I like this keyboard. If you are a frequent type'r or produce documents generally the ergo is the way to go. It is comfortable and natural. That in combination with all the office, net and e-mail shortcut functions make this a well rounded board. It would be a secretary's dream. And I do really feel comfy recommending this keyboard.

It forms. In all honesty, this is all about "taste", and not technical functionality, IMO. I've given it three weeks, on the understanding a person needs to get employed to it. For my money, I could be equally pleased with my trusty old Comfort Curve. Newegg's service just rocks. This came in a lot of some 13 items needed for a new program create. I got 100% of the items on time, with zero defects or RMAs. Good!
