Worked correct out of the box at 1333 on my gigabyte ud5 890fx. Overclocked to 1600 on 1st attempt. Functions ideal at 1600 7-9-7-24 1.65v The heat spreaders slid all the way down when pushing into ram slots. Be careful putting in them i pushed down the green edges to not additional move the heat spreaders. Wonderful ram. Works incredible with my AM3 socket motherboard. I purchased this for use in an OC'd technique due to its tolerance for high speed and tight timings. I was capable to get it down to 6-7-6 at 1516 Mhz although keeping stability through long MemTest86+, Prime95, and Intel Burn Test. The reality that mushkin only recommends it for intel boards. I don't comprehend this, ram is ram. The other set of 1600 mushkin which says it performs in amd is 5$ more following Make confident when putting in the ram to press down on the silver metal clips and not on the black heat spreader. Haven't tried to overclock but I am confident that they could be pushed if needed.

Runs to spec. Passes memtest+prime95. Self-con: I stupidly bought yet another brand initially, which failed memtest miserably and crashed although installing windows. I ought to have purchased these Mushkin sticks in the initially location! Timings and voltage were autodetected by my Biostar TP55 motherboard as these listed. I usually get Mushkin, went cheap with a different brand, and regretted it. If you don't want a 1 week delay on obtaining a new laptop or computer up and operating, pay the small bit extra and get Mushkin.

Good Ram that runs at 1600 with ease on my Gigabyte board. Purchased this even though waiting for an RMA of OCZ platinum(JUNK). This is sooo much much better. NONE glad I bought this RAM. Wasn't sure what to try after two trys with OCZ (both horrible)but will buy Mushkin from now on

RAM performs great, I'm shopping for another pack to upgrade to 8GB.Mushkin is an amazing firm, and deserves a lot more respect. When I purchased my 1st pack of RAM, I messed up and got some that my motherboard couldn't support. Following at some point figuring out my crashing complications were due to RAM (memtest ran fine, regardless of my complications) it was anything like 60 days right after obtain. I posted on their forum and within a couple days I not only had a knowledgeable tech tell me the correct RAM to get for my weird mobo, but they even exchanged it for no cost with my current kit, and cross shipped! Also, when you call, a cute-sounding girl answers the phone who speaks actual english! None that I know of. Mushkin has earned my hard-earned respect. I'll be buying much more from them in the future.

Its just.... amazing!It looks sweeter than candy pieIt runs at its advertised speeds even on my AMD based ComputerStays niceee and COOOOLFits perfectly on my Biostar ta890fxe AM3 even with an aftermarket Noctua coolerI havent come across one particular challenge however, with memtest, and prime 95. I have tested this RAM in and out with quite a few diff latency timings, and speed settings. I have adjusted my FSB to O.C it, previous 866 mhz <--- thats just crazy. I dont know why it is advertised for intel motherboards and cpu's, stupid promoting.. Lastly, If you're not into overclocking at all, which is fine, and run an AMD cpu, I advocate receiving the 1333mhz set. Its cheaper, and the only way to attain its advertised 1600mhz speed on AM3/AM2+ and so forth systems is by overclocking it in the BIOS. Trust me, Ive set this ram to 1066mhz, 1333mhz, and 1600+ mhz, compared method/game overall performance, and have barely noticed a difference.I hate to say it, but I am a mushkin fanboy :)

Worked as described at 7-9-7-24 at 1600mhz. I'm working with the Asus Crosshair IV Formula with the AMD 965BE. This ram overclocks really properly I at the moment have mine at 1800mhz. None at all! Acquire this ram or any Mushkin and you wont be disappointed. The Mushkin Redline ram blows the Corsair Dominator GT's out of the water stock and overclocked. Purchase MUSHKIN!!

It's a incredibly solid set of RAM. I haven't tried overclocking the, but they are rock solid at stock speeds. The heat spreaders are nice and low, but nonetheless helpful. They're not flashy, like the G.Skill Tridents. They are uncomplicated, effective, and awesome. A tiny loose on the timings, but nothing out of the ordinary. You will not be disappointed by these Mushkins.

Mushkin does it once again! I've tried numerous unique brands of RAM more than the years and it seems like such a crapshoot as to how effectively or even if it will work at all. It seems though absolutely everyone else is designing fancy heat sinks (an inferiority complex?), Mushkin delivers where it counts. This is my second construct with Mushkin and I am thoroughly impressed. Mushkin doesn't show up usually on RAM QML lists so it is a bit of a leap of faith... I couldn't clock at 1600, either the CPU or the MB would force it down to DDR3-400 when I attempt (no matter the timing). I also tried a various brand recognized to operate at 1600 7-eight-7-22 in a Phenom II x6 and had the identical concern (speaking of crapshoots, it took 3 packages of that brand to discover one that worked at rated speed). There are nicely recognized and documented 1600MHz RAM issues on some AMD chips so this is not entirely unexpected and does not reflect badly on Mushkin at all. I ended up at DDR3-1333 and truly tightened down the timings. I am in a position to run this ram at on on Athlon II x3 445 @ DDR3-1333 6-7-6-15-1T @ 1.5V on an Asrock 880GM-LE board. 10 passes of Memtest are error totally free. Manufacturer Response:Greetings! Fantastic ram for the dollars. When I initially installed it in my ASUS mobo it ran at 1333 and timings had been 9-9-9-24. Quick adjust in BIOS and everything runs as advertised. 1600 and 7-9-7-24 timings. Very stable and excellent ram in my opinion. Wasn't No cost? Newegg usually delivers.

With rebate, this pair of 2gb modules was amazing for the value. No other brand can touch the good quality/price performance ratio of Mushkin RAM. Installed in a AMD 965 BE system on an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO mobo, tweaked the DRAM voltage to 1.64 and timings to 7-8-7-20 at 1600mhz. Rock solid stable and no errors below many passes of MemTest86+. Haven't attempted OCing it however. Developed for P55 boards? Are there Intel fairies hiding under the sleek black heat spreaders? Seems fine in AMD systems even if not expressly created for them. I've often had very good luck with Mushkin goods. They assemble most of their goods in the U.S., too, so you're in fact helping generate jobs for American robots by shopping Mushkin.
