-The 1 working stick OC'd fairly nicely, I got it to run pretty stably at at 7-9-7-24-Cheap, good timings and speed for the price tag -One particular stick was negative, wouldn't run greater than 1000 MHz no matter how I tweaked the settings-High profile heatspreaders might interfere with your CPU cooler: I had to adjust my Hyper 212+ to accommodate RAM placement in the 1Ǚ slots

Exceptional RAM. Had to do my homework before choosing RAM for my initial create and I'm proud to say I select well. I'm very please with the performance. I aslo had to do a rapid tweak in BIOS but that was simple. I am running a M4A89GTD motherboard with a 2.9 GHz AMD Athalon II X4. The cause I'm even writing this review is I came back to get one more set and remembered I hadn't wrote a review for last time. :) None I am also impressed that a person From Mushkin takes the time to check these evaluations and respond if persons are unhappy. It speaks nicely of them that they care about their reputation and their buyers happiness. I know there are some "other" corporations that do the same but if all they do is make junk and peplace it for persons it nonetheless doesn't help their reputation. IMHO.

I previously had 4 GB of Patriot brand memory with an advertised speed of 1600, and it would only run at 1333 no matter what I tried. I also skilled random lockups and reboots occuring at least when or twice daily. I also had a frustrating experience with their client service department. My motherboard is an Asus P5E3 PRO X48, and as soon as I replaced the Patriot memory with this Mushkin set, it solved all the problems with my program. My method has been totally stable, no far more random re-boots or lockups. It also runs at the advertised 1600 speed, and it has made a noticeable distinction to me. I am completely satisfied with my 1st Mushkin buy! Totally none!!! For other people with the very same ASUS motherboard as I: As other people have stated, this RAM does come with a little slip of paper with directions. I followed them to manually set the tRTP setting to Ŝ", and it did not function. I am not complaining at all although mainly because I located that all I had to do was go into the BIOS, and tell it to use the Intel suggested XMP settings, and this RAM is now operating at 1600. Also, I set the tRTP setting back to Auto.

It's RAM, it's affordable, and it looks so sleek. It's also just plain rock solid, regardless of what you set the timings to, if it will work at all, it will work perfectly.Appears to be fairly solid at 1.65v like the specs say. I haven't attempted overvolting it or something, but my board automatically did and set it to 1.77 or so. Its sheer resiliency can make it challenging to tell when you're approaching the point of instability. The tRTP warning is kind of irrelevent, at least for my Asus board, which doesn't let me set it higher than 7.

This memory works great at tight timings. The heatsink is properly-developed and dissipates heat efficiently - it's also thin enough that even the most cramped motherboards can fit them with ease. For some cause, they always perform in every single create I try, even if the motherboard doesn't list support for it! Possibly the manufacturers have just stopped putting Mushkin RAM on those compatibility charts mainly because it's a given. If you want to overclock, they have instructions for it on their website. The green PCB. Would like if the PCB was black or blue to fit the far more popular color schemes (mine is red / black with the ASUS IV Formula). But this opinion barely merits a con. Mushkin makes excellent RAM, and I use it in every single build I make. I have however to have even one stick fail on me.If it occurs to you, the consumer assistance is amazing. Just send it to Mushkin and they'll get you a new 1 pronto. For those who will need to know: they're an American company based in Colorado.

High efficiency memory with great speed and timings and even higher prospective. FrostByte heatsinks appear great and carry out superior. Proven good quality and reliability, with a lifetime limited warranty. Competitive pricing (esp. with MIR). For AMD owners: "Designed for Intel LGA 1156/P55 boards", although they seem to carry out valiantly on just about any platform. Mushkin doesn't however get the respect they deserve. Installed on a GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 (with Phenom II X2 550), running perfectly stable at 1600 MHz, 7-9-7-24-1T, 1.64 V, really possibly quicker/tighter. You won't be disappointed. I own one more kit of Mushkin memory ) that have fan perfectly stable while performing at (or beyond) specs for four years of daily use and gaming.

Solid, fairly low retancy compatible with all tower heat sink. 1.65 v This ram was purchased to be installed with the tower heat sink. It perfectly fits and it looks beatiful. While low latancy does not speed up the program that significantly. You really feel somewhat snappy - possibly just feeling of getting new ram?. I in no way had to deal with the tech help, but check out their forum, and they seems to be very knowledgeble comparing to other vandor's services. It's superior to know just in case if I have questions about voltage setting etc.

Excellent searching heat spreaders. Mushkin top quality. It won't run on my AM3 method at the 7 cas 1600 rated timing. The timings listed by newegg are misleading for AMD owners because the 7 cas 1600 is XMP profile for Intel chipsets. It nonetheless runs rapidly on my technique and I nonetheless get excellent bandwidth from these chips I truly strategy on ordering one more pair

Its now and had a perferct bit of feedback. I've only had this stuff for a few hours but the time I've had with it tells me that it wont run at stock clocks on my M4A88. Timing had to be relaxed to 9-9-9-241. Other than that its fine. I'll be returning this stuff for Corsair Vengeance. I gota have me overclocks. ;d

RAM wasn't DOA, nice searching, feels solid, runs flawlessly....with a catch. I have an MSI 870 G54A AM3 Motherboard. The motherboard refuses to run at 1.65V for DRAM and for this reason or some other reason, the RAM refuses to run at the listed specs of 7-9-7-24.I have it running perfectly at 1.63V at 8-9-8-24 which is decent, but not what I paid for. Now, it may possibly be the fault of the motherboard or of mine in that Newegg lists the memory as designed for LGA1156 and P55 motherboards. However, I have never ever had this challenge with any sets of G.Skill or Patriot RAM I have ever purchased. Been looking everywhere to see how to fix this...

Exceptional Frostbite HeatsinkMushkin is employee owned and situated in Colorado US (that's just cool)Runs superior than specified, even with all 4 dimm slots occupiedBenchmarks show improvements over DDR 1600 with slower timings You can get only one rebate per individual (so no rebate on that second pair in going for 8gb) Installed on ASUS P7P55D-E, 4 DIMMS for 8GB. Loaded up XMP in the bios and it quickly brought up the right timings Ɨ-9-7-24, 1.65v). I was able to lower the voltage to 1.55 and set the command rate to 1T or ŕN" as it displays in the bios. I'm not planning to push these past 1600, but early indications are that there's room to move with these outcomes at stock settings. (Note - with only 2 Dimms or 4GB installed, it required only 1.5v even).

Runs quicker than rated specs 񢃀 7-8-7-20 1T) at a slightly lower voltage Ƒ.64v) without much work. Really stable ram so far. Could will need to flash your motherboard bios to get it to run at the advertised timings but that's much more of a MB con than a con for this memory - see 'other thoughts' below. I have an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO motherboard and I couldn't get this memory to run at 7-9-7-24 2T or anything tighter than 8-9-8-24 2T until I flashed to the newest motherboard bios. Due to the fact the bios upgrade, this memory runs stable at 7-8-7-20 1T @ 1.64v. I had it stable at 6-8-7-18 1T @ 1.66v until I overclocked my Phenom 965BE to 4. GHz. I loosened the timings to 7-8-7-20 1T and was able to drop the voltage down a little, now I have a extremely stable, nicely overclocked program. I haven't tried to overclock the ram above 1600 and almost certainly won't so I can't comment on that. I feel I'm going to acquire yet another set soon just before these go out of stock.
