Been employing it in my ASUS P5N-E board for at least a month now and it goes without a hitch due to the fact the moment i put it in. None, it gave me no BIOS or recognition errors. As other people are saying, the heatsink on these sticks of ram desires to be kept in thoughts when installing. Don't 'man manage' them into your case or put tons of pressure on them. if you want a superior amount of force to clip your ram into the mobo sockets, push on the just about every edges so that you aren't putting pressure on the heatsink.

Could get a different set for a friend IF I can get it shipped with some thing other than UPS-MI... Runs on my method at five-five-five-18 at 800 as opposed to the 5-5-five-12 stated in the specs, and the chips fit really snug on my mobo... The UPS Mail Innovations... Initial time ever obtaining a package from them, and if it would have taken 1 much more day to get to me, I would have thought twice about ordering from newegg once more, even although it definitely wasn't their fault. The tracking had about a 2-day delay and is incredibly cryptic, they didn't give me an estimated delivery time, and it was shoved in my mailbox with a bunch of other mail... Next time I'm paying extra to get it to my front door.I've ordered from newegg for at least 6 years, and shipping has generally produced the difference to me, as they practically generally get me what I ordered as if it was shipped from across the street. Heatsinks are a little loose as other people have stated. I had no troubles installing due to the fact of the critiques I read about not pushing down on them from the middle. Popped 2x1 GB of these sticks into a HP D4996T and had no difficulties at all! Went from two GB PC-5300 667 Ghz memory to this 800 Mhz Ram and did not have to adjust the bios or something! Worked appropriate away with about a 10% increase in speed whis is harkly noticable. Nonetheless.. An enhance in spead and no added heat will assist me put much more ram in and upgrade other elements. I extremely recomend this Ram for anybody on a budget that wants PC-6400 800 Mhz Ram.

I usually obtain Kingston but I've definitely come to like Mushkin, will absolutely acquire their memory in the future!

I ordered these simply because overnight 1 of my two 1 gig sticks fried from getting too dusty (that'll teach me to clean out my case far more). These had been an outstanding cost, quicker than the originals. I heard complications about the coolant casing on them creating it tough to insert the ram, but I didn't have any such problems. The coolant case on the ram is a smidge larger than other coolant circumstances I've noticed, but it doesn't stop putting the ram into the slots, so it's all very good anyways. :) Fantastic item, excellent price, quickly delivery, content consumer.

I did fairly a bit of investigation ahead of buying the Mushkin memory to be sure I was getting stuff that would perform in my program considering that I knew I was unable to alter any settings. I decided on the PC 6400 memory from Mushkin and was not disappointed. The ram installed with out a hitch and now my method is noticeably quicker than the OEM ram that was installed. I'm a Mushkin fan now! Just like the several other posts, be cautious to only use the extremely ends of the ram to snap them into place. I had no complications installing considering that I read all of the reviews initial to watch out for the heatsinks. I will be constructing my own technique soon and have decided to use Mushkin as my source for ram and newegg as my parts supplier!

Worked suitable away at stock settings with no adjustment needed. I stress tested the ram (and cpu) for 12 hours with prime and there were no errors. None that I can feel of. They function just as they must. Perfectly fine ram. I have not tried overclocking them. These are installed in a media system that simply doesn't want the additional energy.

It worked fine immediately after a simple restart, no major deal Overall quite great RAM, and it works fine when mixed with Corsair PC2-6400 2GB with almost the exact same latencies and voltage. I'm currently testing the RAM, and writing this evaluation, and all appears to be going smoothly. My 1st buy from Newegg too, and the shipping was Quickly. Most likely getting other items from here in the future.

The heat spreaders are appealing, every little thing about these dimms just says quality. I put these in a personal computer I built for an individual else, so I don't get to maintain them. Three sets of Mushkin memory in 3 distinct computers so far, and not a issue with a single stick. Excellent goods all around.
