Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Comment:
Well laid out directions, silent operation, even at 1400 RPM. Exceptional set of alternatives for fan speed control. Chilly temps - 145F @ two.88GHZ Model 920 i7 Intel @ 100%- 75F ambient room temp. TALL and WIDE! Greater measure prior to ordering or you may well be returning it. The fans swings a heavy set of blades, so thoughts your fingers around them. Back plate is included, so program ahead so you don't wind up getting to strip your system back down to install it. Grease is included with kit, I utilised Arctic Silver on my install so I cant say anything on the top quality of it.

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Comment:
Really Quiet compared to Phenom II X6 1090t stock cooler. Stock cooler was operating 39-42 idle and w/ three.6Ghz overclock would overheatᡶC on Prime 95 in less than two minutes w/ stock thermal compound. Stock fan blew at 5500rpm and sounded like a 747 preparing for takeoff at load and at idle was definetly audible at 4000rpm. Therefore the want for a new cooler. This cooler is almost inaudible at 1800 rpm and is about as successful as the stock fan. Quite secure mounting, extremely excellent instructions, install was simple, didnt have to take the motherboard out. Very properly built. Minimal Modify in my temps at all w/ fans at full speed. Push/ pull at 1800 rpm idle is 37 and load goes more than 62C maybe it takes longer to get that hot, but it still gets too hot for my liking. Havent attempted w/ regular use like w/ a game but. On crosshair iv w/ 4 sticks of trident was able to get the fan clips out of the way by drilling a hole in the fan to seat the clips out of the way of the ram heatsinks. Youll know what i mean if you get the cooler, but otherwise it wont fit "as is" w/ ram w/ huge heatsinks in the very first dimm slot on my mobo. Fans blow up/ down on crosshair iv. Went with this 1 because of the great evaluations on here and wanting a cooler that didnt take up the whole case...its nonetheless pretty huge but im ok w/ it. A 120mm cooler would prob have carried out far better but they are just too major.Ive had this cooler on for a few days, may well require the thermal compound to set, but im not getting my hopes up for a dramatic drop in temps. Considering that its so quiet i may well attempt unique 92mm fans w/ a little greater rpm and cfm, and maybe a fan controller to get temps down a little more. I could get some greater numbers as well when my new case gets here w/ dual 140mm exhaust fans on the leading of the case but for now im not that impressed, though pleased my computer system is quieter.

Does what it's supposed to do incredibly properly. Keeps my OCed i5 ʃ.8 under 60C at full load. Installing the fans can be a bit annoying. Not worth taking off an egg even though.

J'ai acheter en spécial pour mettre sur un PC que je voulais essayer un peu d'overclock. Le Noctua fait la job sans exagérer l'overclock. Facile a installé.

-Works great-Superior price-Lower profile heat pipes -None Bought this because I was fairly limited in my CPU coolers with an Antec P193. However it fit perfectly into the case, and was effortlessly enough to install -- no require to play about with the case fan placement to fit it as is necessary with some taller coolers. Also works wonderfully. At idle and low intensity loads my CPU runs at room temperature, and even for the duration of gaming the CPU doesn't get past 40-45C; in spite of the fact that I'm running an overclocked i7-875K. Extremely recommended.

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Comment:
- quiet, stock fan makes far more noise.- dropped idle temps by 5c.- dropped full load temps by 28c, my high temps are in the low 50c range (measured in genuine temp with prime 95 tiny fft running and passmark burn in test running even though surfing the net, 2 hours total time). Stock fan they would reach practically 90c.- temps drop to standard from full load incredibly rapidly.- effortless to install - cutout in my case allowed me to leave the motherboard installed for the duration of installation. Directions and illistrations basic to follow. - Clips and rubber strips to attach fans to the heatsink. They seem to function ok but for this price you would feel they would have a much more secure way of attaching the fans.- No PWM, on the other hand with how quiet the fans are I just left them on high, no need to have for me to use the low-noise adapters. the heatsink has a slightly convex surface so I mounted the heat sink so the air blows from front to back of my case. This way the heatsinks high spot lines up overs the 4 cores.

Excellent top quality and design. Basic and straightforward, rock-solid trouble-free of charge heatsink installation. Noiseless fans, perfect for silent PC. spring clips that hold the fans on are a bit fiddly to get on if space is cramped around the processor. I bought this for a silent PC applied as a multi-track recording studio. This sits in the room with the artists. Works perfectly. Even incredibly sensitive condenser microphone capturing vocals do not pick up any sound from this.

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons: None for the price!

Pros: SmallerGood for the price
Comment:
This cooler is pretty good. I performed stress tests on core i7 930, 32 threads constant load of 100%, and the core temps range from 55C-68C. I bought this instead of the 14 inch one because I thought it would not fit in my HAF 932, but infact it would have. This is good for the price.

Cons: cant mount the fans a different way.

Pros: very nice to install, keeps the processor cool, the metal case badge looks awesome.

this cpu cooler keeps my phenom 2X2 processor very nice and cool. going down to 20C or less and 25-30C n load. the fans come with inline speed adjusters you can change and make the fans full speed, or half speed. which is a very nice option to have.

Nice cooler!
Comment:
If you can get over the color of the fans, this is about the best small form factor cpu coolers you can get. Works great and is quiet too. Comes with 2 fans and mounting hardware for intel and amd. I'm using in a htpc and the noise level is very low. Just what I was looking for!

Noctua is second to none
Comment:
Purchased this cooler. Unfortuanaly there were two bolts missing for the intel kit. Fortunately Noctua has one of the best service departments I have come across. Submitted e-mail to them 12 days later the parts were in my mailbox. From Austria.

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons: Mounting system interferes with opening Lotes socket. Fans sit right on top of RAM

Pros: Compact, dual fan, very quiet
Comment:
Love the dual fan, compact 92mm setup. Installation was fairly straight forward - but found that in order to open the Lotes socket - needed to partially remove one of the brackets. Also - the heatsink clears everything around my motherboard - but the fans sit either above the northbridge heatsink or the RAM heat spreaders (depending on orientation - tried both ways). Installed with a Gigabyte P55A-UD4P ATX LGA1156 P55, Intel i7 860 and Corsair XMS3 DDR3.

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons:Price - maybe. PM'd this and saved about 20% so I feel it was worth it for the quality and the performance.

Pros:Quality - it's a Noctua! Good performance for size. Superb mounting system - as always. Warranty. Great size for a mid tower case.
Comment:
Tested on an i5 750 at 4.0 Ghz under Prime 95 z 1.3 volts Core on an Asus p7p55d for 1.5 hrs and temps have settled down to 75-76 C. Not too shabby. Previously tested at stock settings (clock and voltage) under Prime 95 for 18 hrs straight - no problem. Now looking forward to Noctua's entry into water cooling.. please!

Noctua NH-U9B SE2 92mm SSO CPU Cooler
Cons:(none)

Pros:Good-quality construction and accessories package, Small-form-factor (90mm), Effective air cooling solution, Easy to install, Good-quality thermal interface material (TIM) included.
Comment:
Upon opening the packaging, and removing the cooler and the included accessories bundle, I realized how well-constructed this cooler is. Austrians have a reputation for engineering good-quality products, and that reputation is safe with me!The accompanying 90mm fans are easy to install, and a daisy-link cable is included, enabling both fans to be powered by the MB's "CPU_Fan" connector. Additional cables are also provided, and these serve to mod fan speed/airflow/dBA-level.In the final analysis, this is a good CPU cooler. Will definitely buy again.

Bulky but works
Comment:
This thing is huge so be sure you have enough room between CPU and memory slots. Fairly quiet. Has two modes: Fast and quiet. Does it's job. No problems for me yet. I recommend this product.
