The same sound you could get if you put two wires together and created a spark (not your typical power supply whine) Anyways, I contacted OCZ and requested an RMA. Will go with Corsair next time.

I dont own this power supply. thinking of ordering it for a new construct for my son. this is a lot more with regards to the rebates from ocz or. I have purchased a number of items from ocz. primarily rams, all with a rebate. true the rebates will take months to arrive, but not as soon as have I been cheated out of a rebate. cant genuinely say however if any I got an e-mail with rebate information from whichever organization ocz was using. they did wait till the last day, literally. but what the heck the info on rebates did say up to four months (at least on mine). anyway seeking forward to acquire stuff from ocz and if it doesnt work. effectively I know they will stand by their item and replace it if required. so far I havent had it occurred.

Great reliable psu. Have never had any issues with it and the option to not have all the cables connected really helps keep things out of the way when you are putting your computer together.This psu would be perfect if it had slightly longer cables and the cpu cables were also modular.

I picked this bad boy up the other day for $65 or so and was impressed with the quality and reliability of it. from most video reviews it seemed good so i snatched one up before they were all gone.

At least when the item failed, it didn't kill any of my other components. Fan inside energy supply died much less than 6 months soon after purchase. OCZ tends to make you jump by means of some hurdles to RMA it. Anticipate a downtime of 2-three weeks+ and paying for packaging/shipping it back to them if this occurs to you. Inexpensive, adequate wattage for a decent gaming personal computer. Poor cable length with the key 24 pin and the fourƲ pin. Cannot route behind motherboard, way as well short.Only two PCIE 6 pin connectors.

This is my second OCZ power supply. It's very quiet, fo far not a single issue with this unit nor with my other OCZ ps ( i have it for a year now). Used it for a budget multimedia PC with the possibility for a bit of gaming and 600W is enough in my opinion. OCZ makes quality power supplies these days. Got it on sale for 60$ and there was also 10$ MIR so it's a pretty good deal.

Fantastic power, absolutely nothing but the ideal from OCZYou get what you pay for, unless it says OCZ, then you get much more than what you spend for, lead to I got this on sale.Runs an old P4 at the moment, but it will be replaced with a good Quad Core at some point, possibly a Hex if I want to go that far and I have NO doubt in my thoughts that this PSU will take that set up chew it up and spit it back at me. Also will be obtaining an HD5770. If you wanna run two of them I'd go for 700W. I have that in my main rig, and it runs fantastic, OC'd and all. No cons Wish the cabled were a bit longer but it's not a con result in they reach and are out of the way.
