OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: -Terrible MIR process

Pros: -Quiet, more than enough power and easy to install
Comment:
Except for a painfully obscure MIR process, designed largely to make most people give up, this PSU is quiet and easy to install. It has more than enough power for my rig: AM3 quad core, 2 HD's, two DVD drives, card reader and a 9600gt.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Some might question OCZ's quality of power supplies

Pros: Reduces cable clutter
Comment:
I bought this for $59.99 and just received my $20 MIR. I have never had a problem with OCZ's MIR's and would recommend this power supply for those who want modular, but are on a budget.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Some might question ocz's quality of power supplies

Pros: Modular cabling to reduce cable clutter inside the case
Comment:
First time I tried an OCZ power supply, no problems. The big, quiet fan keeps things cool and silent. Got it for $40 after rebate. Don't be scared of the low price for such a good product.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: None so far.

Pros: Dead quiet, rock solid.
Comment:
The first PSU I've owned with modular cables. It was all good until I discovered I needed almost all the cables (not the PSU's fault).Works great in my HTPC, fantastic price when it was on sale.

Cons: - None

Pros: - 600W SLI Ready- Modular- Cheap

Might be the best PSU you can get for 39.99$ including the MIR. Got this as a spare one at that price I had to get one.Perfect PSU for starters and small/medium builds.

Cons: -None...literally.. I've bought two and so far so good..

Pros: -Reliable-Stable-Modular-Cheap!! even without the MIR...
Comment:
Bought a second one for my bro's pc as a replacement for his dead Corsair 400CX... cheaper ($50 w/o MIR of $15), higher capacity and comes with a nice little pouch as well.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: none, get it!

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do, power a 9800gt bfg graphics card and the rest of my components. Lots of cables and they are modular, so no extra cables in your case to block airflow if you dont need them all. Was on discount, so good deal.
Comment:
What can I say, it's a power supply. It supplies power. Does it supply enough? I got a 9800gt which sucks power, a quad core, both slightly overclocked, some usb ports and 5 fans, so it's ok for that. I'd get it again.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Poor quality cable sleeving, 20+4 pin connector have no physical connection to eachother.

Pros: Quiet, modular connections for molex/sata/pci-xxpress, very efficient, cable lengths good for m-atx/mid-tower.
Comment:
I'm very happy overall with this power supply, with the instant rebate and MIR it is a really good value for the quality received. Fan in nearly silent, good airflow through casing and cool air exhausted for the most part leading me to believe the ModXStream has great energy efficiency. The cable lengths are reasonably long, best suited for m-atx/mid-tower from my experience. The sleeving is okay but could have used much better quality sleeve as the cable colors inside are very visible, but most that care will re-sleeve anyway. The semi-modular design of this unit is good but my only annoyance is the 4 and 8 pin auxiliary power connections both being tethered to the unit, I would have preferred 4+4 or modular connection. Painted finish is decent, decent scratch resistance for a psu. Nice large fan opening with chrome wire grill. Overall happy with my purchase.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: None that I can think of except it's just 600 watts

Pros: Great PSU, low cost, cheap, efficient, low power consumption
Comment:
Perfect for a budget or home build. I highly recommend OCZ power supplies. I install many of them and I've never had any issue. Maybe you should consider more than 600 watts if you think you'll be adding many drives and a newer video card.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: None observed so far. I don't know about short cables, as I didn't have to build my system.

Pros: Good, quiet power supply.Case for exta cables keeps all my motherboard leftovers together.
Comment:
This is a great value at the price I got it. The 600 watts should be enough for most unambitious builds. Nice and quiet and seems to be performing great so far. Definitely a great value, and even better when it's on sale. Can't imagine a better value for a regular build.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: Cord length good up to mid-tower

Pros: Modular, Silent, Sleeved Cables
Comment:
Great buy when I got it with MIR. Its quiet and semi-modular so it saves room when the wiring takes place and comes with lots of failsafe meaning it should last. However, if your tower is bigger then mid-tower size then you the cables (short length) won't reach.

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ATX 20/24PIN SLI Ready Modular Cables 120MM Fan Active PFC Power Supply
Cons: cords are just adequate for mid-tower (SATA power cables will span from top drive bay to bottom)

Pros: Silentpartly modular
Comment:
The PSU runs much quieter than my stock one. Its also a really nice unboxing experience from the packaging. It comes with a little zip-up bag (almost like a pencil case) that contains all the modular cables, namely two PCI-E and two SATA cables (of which each cable has 3 SATA power ports) and two molex cables. The cables however are a bit on the stiff side, and too short to route behind the motherboard.Overall, I am really pleased with this product. If you are looking for a budget PSU but still want some performance, this one is a good deal!

If you burn CD DVDs or have external HDD or any thing other than a basic system-This is a must. The standard case 400 450 watt supplies will be taxed to hard and could fail -This is a great supply at a great price.

This is a great power supply. Installed on a game box (amd black 550 cpu and XFX ATI 5830 video card and 640g SATA drive) This unit runs so quiet even when the game box is under load. The 140mm fan really pulls air through the power supply. The modular adapters are very nice, keeps the case clean and allows for better air flow in the case. Very nice unit.

Great for the price
Comment:
Modular is the way to go. This PSU had all the connectors I needed, and went in fairly smoothly. The only thing that threw me off was that in order to attach it to my case, the fan on the PSU is facing down. Luckily there is a bottom vent on the case I purchased, but this just seemed odd to me, though this is admittedly the first computer I have built. Runs everything fine.
