had these for like 6 months now and so far they've been great...for about the last month now ive been running this ram @5-4-4-15-1T @854MHz in a evga 780i FTW(great mobo btw)...id say thats pretty fruckin good for 40 bones.

Quality issues. Worked originally at 800MHz no problem, but there were apparent hard-disk problems. After debugging booting issues and hard-drive failures for several days, swapped this memory out for the original memory. No more problems. This memory was causing all the other issues, including conflicts with the BIOS.

Doesn't work in my P5N-T Deluxe mobo (780i). Usually won't make it to the BIOS setup. Instead, it freezes and causes random dots to be drawn on the display. The memory is seated well and is sometimes recognized by the BIOS; has even booted into Windows a couple of times. Makes it appear as if there is a problem with the boot drive, when installed, but just replacing it with the original generic (budget) memory solves all the problems. There seems to be some quality control problems with this RAM, since some people report that it works great for them, while others find it either DOA or misbehaving. This product has been frustrating, wasting days of debugging, since it does something to the BIOS' ability to see the disk drives, sometimes making them unreadable, sometimes just preventing Windows from booting. Maybe the timings are just off in the BIOS, but the BIOS hangs before they can be set when this RAM is installed.

I DONT CARE IF THEY PAY ME BACK OR NOT this ram is great next time theres a deal im getting 4gb more for my windows xp pro 64 so itll have 8gb! BUY THIS RAM ITS FLAWLESS AND IF YOU GET A DEFECTIVE ONE ITS OK CUZ EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES, EVEN OCZ, JUST GET A REPLACEMENT CUZ IT ROCKS!

Don't know if this RAM is good or not. It does not work in my MSI 975X Platinum MB. I tried all clock and voltage settings and the MB will not even post with these installed. This may or may not be my fault, but word to anyone else that has the MSI 975X MB.

This is a fantastic deal. Excellent memory for an excellent price. Even without the 25$ rebate option, still a great price. Worked as soon as I plugged it in! Just so you know, you can't use more than 4GB of ram on a 32-bit OS. It limits the amount you can use. I found that out the hard way. Other than that, this is probably the best deal out there!

The best money I've ever spent! Though 'gizmo's review is correct. In order to get the 5-4-4-15 timing, you do have to manually set it. Even so, it runs great with no errors, and it is fast and effective. And unlike other 'cheap' RAM, the timings on this one actually tests accurately. Though that might not mean a lot if you are just getting RAM to have RAM, it means it's much more reliable than getting some budget chips from a 'memory only site' for the same price, even at a discount.

I bought 2 sets of these to max out my eVGA 680i sli board. Just note, I was under the impression that my ''SLI'' ready board would be able to run these at 1200mhz because they are SLI ready, but the bios right away indicates that the SLI ready can't work with all 4 slots populated. Still, it's a great deal and it's nice knowing I'm working with 8 gigs!

Running 8 gigs of these at 1000 MHz (992 actual)on EVGA 680i AR with 2 8800 GTS 512 G92s in SLI with a Q6600 OC'd to 3.0 and Vista 64 No overvolting and stock timings. It's cheap because DDR3 is out now. FEAR 2 max setings at 1920 X 1200 at 50 FPS. MEMTEST ran 3 passes with no errors. Great cheap memory. It's only SLI ready with 2 sticks not 4.

Have been one year since I bough them and they are Killer Bars. I've OC'ed to 900 mhz without any problems (5-4-4-15). My other bars were 667 mhz and gave me so much Blue Screen when I overclocked em. I've got two other friends that bough this ram too, no problem, no return, just best thing you could buy!

Ok i bought this kit a little over a month ago and had it running stock timings and have very extensive cooling on my system..well it crapped out on me after a month. one stick died completely and i thought it was a flook so i started to RMA that stick when the other stick decided to push everything on my processor one day and overloaded it. so yeah i have already had to RMA both sticks in under a month. good price but im very depressed
