Part of a bundle. yes, its fast, damn fast. Surprised running XP Pro 64bit how fast it is. Wish I had got 2 of these bundles. Pure bargain. heat sinks on the ram, 4GB matched set like fine china. No real tricks here, just a GREAT value for the money. If you want or need DDR3.. go get it, advantages are MINIMAL right now, and the price is not. buy 1, buy 2,, and be very very VERY happy.

Having never put one together before, I was extremely impressed. 2 1/2 hours after opening the box, had it assembled, the O.S. loaded and now I have a pc that my 2 teen aged boys are envious of.... I have waited until now to write a review for this memory. I ordered it August 2008, when it was $65 for a set XD Great deal then, even better now! This memory has faithfully served me for almost an entire year, still going strong. Have it overclocked to 1000MHz, 5-4-4-15-2T, 100% stable, doesnt even heat up! And I ordered 8 gigs of this too!

Using to run Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit on Asus m/b w/single 500GB SATA drive. Asus has tools to overclock. Have pushed bus +20%. Have not tweaked memory for max perf. Edit a lot of hi-def AVCHD video on a Phenom quad-core w/1GB video card and only once in a while did it appear to stumble, but can't be sure if memory was the issue or not...still have FSB which is more likely to be the culprit. If you wanna edit hi-def video, go for the Intel Core i7...it's the best.

Got it as a barebones kit. Runs really well. Burned it in with Memtest86+ for over 24 hours with no errors.

I bought 7 of these kits for a project I am working on. Had a ton of errors with one kit, corrupt downloads etc... After running MS memory test found one stick to be bad. Trying to get just one stick RMA'ed instead of the kit, but it does not look like OCZ even has any in stock to replace it with. So I am down 1 computer on this project. I may have to buy another brand of memory in the future. But the working sticks seem to be running great.
