Got a set for 66$ after rebate. I am experiencing occasional blue screening. Although a memory scan turned up nothing, I suspect I may have gotten a back stick, but this stuff happens, even with the best ram, and I consider OCZ to be one of the best companies for solid ram on the cheap. |

I bought it during the sale for $60 after MIR. Once intall, the system detected it with no problem. But remember, you need to go to bios and set the voltage to 2.0v or 2.1v. |

I got this during end of dec 2008. I had it for sale price + mir. This ram had no issues and had no problem. But I couldn't really overclock this ram coz i got crappy motherboard i guess. But MiR went through about a week ago.. Taken little over 1 month. OcZ is awesome |

Cons:Requires a sizeable voltage boost to run at stock speed and timings. The RAM is rated to run at 2.1V (default for DDR2 is 1.8V).
Pros:Fast, stable RAM once you bump up the voltage to stock settings. Comment:
I bought this RAM to replace a 2GB OCZ DDR2-800 kit that served me very well. This RAM requires more voltage than most DDR2-800, but despite the voltage requirements, they only run warm to the touch.Solid RAM with solid timings. I bought the RAM with a mail-in rebate, and like all of my OCZ rebates I had no problem getting my cheque in them ail after a couple of monhts. |

Pros:OCZ lifetime warranty.Runs 1066mhz with 5-5-5-18-2T at recommended 2.2vFast, powerful, worked right out of the box.Great bang for buck. Comment:
After a weekly special and a mail-in rebate got this set for about $100. Can't complain for a second. Most motherboards will run default at 800mhz so you have to set the voltage, timings, and frequency yourself in the BIOS, but it takes 30 seconds and will run without a hitch at the recommended values.OCZ has lifetime warranty on all its new ram sets and I've never even considered switching to any other company.Great RAM. Highly recommended.(only knock is 4GB OCZ Reaper 1066 went on sale only a couple days after my purchase) |
SERIOUSLY fast. I got the Fatal1ty Series 1066 RAM, and this Platinum Series smokes it. I mean immediately noticeable speed increase. Then again, it is CL5, compared to CL6.
