Whether running as overclocked DDR 800 or manually setting to 1066, I get a Windows 7RC rating of 7.4 on TA790GX with Phenom II 720 BE. I always get working products from here and always delivered within 7 days.

They don't overclock very well and I had issues with my P5Q Pro in which I had random reboots. The Mushkins XP worked better for me.

Running them with a Q9550 z4.25 (Gigabyte UD3R) and 4x2 sticks of this ram without stability or compatibility issues, which is a good sign.

First the top part of the heatsink do not come hot. Secondly when the Epp is activated, the 790FX motherboard overheat. Overall it works great in combination with a AMD Phenom 9850 Black Edition. Good price, and I even received the MIR back from from OCZ.

I called OCZ and they gave me the timing specs i needed and bingo my computer is flying. This kind of memory does what it says it will do, but requires a little input from the owner to set it up right.

In my GA-EP45-DS3R motherboard at the stock timings and 2.1V along with an earlier reapers of PC2-8500 2x1GB for a total of 6GB. My motherboard does not recognize it at the stock timings. So you might have to set it in the BIOS. That brings to the point of these being taller than the earlier reapers by about 1cm. Interestingly, these don't get warm to touch like the 2x1GB reapers and my case has decent air flow. Maybe, that little extra height makes them cooler??? Also, unlike the earlier reapers the pipes on these don't have the copper look. I also have a Tuniq Tower and the placement of the RAM slots is good on the board that these tall ones don't come in the way.I have sent in for the rebate and hope to see it soon (6-8 weeks after receiving documentation). So maybe by August. OCZ rebates have been fair to me even before unlike others' experiences.

Pros:The heatpipe provides excellent cooling, the modules hardly get warm. Great pricing on such premium cooling solution. Comment: For the DKA790GX, the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 won't allow the memory to be installed in the first 2 slots.overclocking the memory wasn't so hot. I was unable to get the memory stable at 1100 at 5-5-5-18 timings.

I was able to push the E5200 to 3.5 ghz with just the FSB increase because of this RAM. the Board I used, only supports DDR667, but with this higer clocked of Ram, I was able to achieve a mad OC (which for a HTPC is purely Overkill. :P) good stuff......

Pros:Inexpensive and fast!Good timings.Gimmicky heat-spreaders surprisingly do the job. Comment: Don't forget to set your MB to the right voltage to get these to work, and use the EPP. These manage to fit side-by-side in tightly-packed slots. Stable for me at 1066 MHz at 5-5-5-15 and 2.1 V. I probably won't try to push the timings, its not worth the marginal performance gain for my purposes. Kinda ticked-off that 1 week later there is an even better sale on them than the last week. I also hate rebates, I think I'm 1/2 on OCZ's rebates (with their old rebate-house).

Comment: This is excellent memory, for the price. I would be a little wary, though, if trying to put two of these side by side; they are a little big and may not fit--4GB of memory is enough for most people, so this shouldn't be a problem.
