I wish it could overclock beyond 1066 a bit better but the heat spreaders are a nice feature and it's still plenty fast

I received the replacement kit and it also has a bad dimm. I think OCZ needs to have better quality control. Or maybe I am just unlucky.

Havent overclocked so cant comment on that. Ram runs at frequency as listed in specs. No complaints.

Pros:- Runs at specified speeds- CHEAP! Especially if you get them on sale.- Runs in a 4x2 configuration on my Asus P5Q Pro Comment: I bought a set of these to go in my Asus P5Q Pro. I'll admit I was a tad hesitant because I have had some memory compatibility issues with the P5Q Pro. Fortunately the new bios (2002) seems to have fixed most the issues.The ram is running at stock speeds and I didn't have to tinker with the bios at all.My weakness is me being very picky and doesn't count towards my overall rating. I have a Noctua HSF and the Reapers sit kind of high and are directly in the path of the HSF air flow. Make sure you run the ram at the correct 5-5-5-15 settings, setting the voltage to 2.2 (or whatever it says on the ram) and you shouldn't have any problems - the 2 sticks that were ok are running great.

Prior to using these I had 4 gig for Crucial Balistix memory in my machine. I had to RMA one or more of those sticks with Crucial about every 2 months, drove me CRAZY.I run an ASUS Maximus Formula SE with an E6850 CPU. I don't overclock it.

This is a beautiful set, the heatsinks are very impressive & work great, keeps the sticks pretty cool considering the speed/timings. Only issue I had is the heatsinks stick out so much they get in the way of the CPU cooler--I had to push the sticks back to the 2nd set of slots to clear the CPU heatsink. Haven't tweaked them yet but they run solid at stock settings, and I expect they will handle a big OC thanks to the cooling. I recommend this kit (especially on sale)... may also purchase a 2nd if I can find a way around the CPU clearance issue. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-19-09 08:48 AM

Pros:-Excellent price-Stable v 1066 Speeds Comment: I purchased a set of these in May and was so happy I had to get another set now that they are cheaper. However the heat sinks on these are different than the picture is shown. The picture shows the heat sinks as they used to be. Now they are different and don't match my other 2 sticks.This not to much of a problem but aesthetically they are a problem. It would seem that the new heat sinks are cheaper to make. I derive this from how they look. Instead of etched OCZ , they are painted on. Also the heat pipe is not connected from both sides, but rather from 1 side only.The ram stick itself is identical when comparing serial numbers and part numbers.

Excellent value after a $50 MIR... yeah I know MIR's suck but I've never had OCZ fail to deliver on such yet. New pipe design has more flex to it though compared to the older design. Overall an excellent buy. :)

This 4gb kit was a simple install and setup in my Abit IP35 pro. Set it to run at 1066 and set vdimm at 2.0v, no increase in NB voltage necessary. Runs Prime 95 with no errors with my Q6600t3200. This is excellent memory and easy to recommend.The kit I received came with the new style of heat sink, not what is pictured here. Look on the OCZ site for a picture.
