I chose this memory kit to go with my new quad core rig. It's been perfect. I haven't oc'd it yet but it has the capabilities for if and when I decide to. The price point for the technology and speed is excellent. Highly recommend it. |

These are wonderful ram dimms, they perform great and cool wonderfully. They work SO much better than the Crucial ballistix that I had before. The only problem I had was that when I installed them on a Maximus Formula inside a Thermaltake Soprano I couldn't get my hard drives to fit in the case.. leading me to buy a new case--the Antec 1200 (love it). So these are awesome, buy them, but be sure they will fit in your case first. |

Running a Q6600 with 1066 FSB, so I am running the memory linked (synchronous 1:1). I was able to lower the timings to 5-4-4-14 (tested stable). Also lowered tRC to 20. At CAS 4 the system wouldn't boot. Tests run at 2.1V.If you have a system with a window, the modules definitely look good. The little heat sinks mounted to the heat pipes really stand out (no pun intended). I don't think they really accomplish much beyond a regular heat spreader, but they look good.The price was definitely good during the weekly special at $104.99 before rebate. There was a $25 rebate as well, but I really can't stand rebates. They ruin the whole buying experience. |

Got these for price and availability but have since changed to Corsair Dominators as they have come down in price to same as these OCZs. Dominators are superior to OCZ for those who want to overclock.Get Patriot or Corsair over these.
