OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:none, I think the price is fair now

Pros:fast,quick,small,quiet,durable
Comment:
went from 2 300 Veloiraptors. Boot times much better and opening programs that are on the SSD are instant. Recommend keeping most of your files on another HD and using the SDD for mostly core programs. But I want a second one now.

Great SSD
Comment:
Excellent SSD. It is incredibly fast (I use Windows 7 and it boots up within 20 seconds and programs are ready to use right away). It's pricey, but well worth it. Also installation was really easy.

Very nice
Comment:
As others have stated -load times and boot times are WAY faster than the standard drives, even the 10,000 rpm units I'm used to. No noise -and the best part - no moving parts to wear out. A definate winner in my book

Drive is Fast and I am quite pleased. I am using this as a Boot drive and Windows 7 loads in less than 20 seconds. All my applications open almost instantly, of course it helps to have a blazing fast processor too! I am quite pleased with my purchase and I would do it again no hesitation.

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:$/GB but I'm still happy with the deal I gotIncluding a mounting bracket would be nice. (I didn't need it with the 800D, but still. I would have had I used 1 of the 2 lower slots.)

Pros:FastGreat OS/important applications driveTRIM (Needs W7)Silent/No moving parts
Comment:
I love this drive, simple as that. It's nice to avoid the Welcome screen in W7U, it simply loads to fast to even show it. I can go from pressing the power button to surfing the web in 45 seconds or less.I bough this with the W7U bundle deal here at NCIX. So depending on how you look at it, I payed between $185-$205 (Bundle was $409.99.)for it, what a steal!I intend to get the same bundle deal should it appear again when I have the funds. (I need the second W7 anyway and at that price, it's cheaper than W7P on it's own so why not.) I wish to put them into RAID 0. I'm also waiting, and hoping TRIM will be supported under RAID 0. As it currently is not.I flashed the latest firmware to the drive with no issues. (Found out later I didn't really need to but oh well.)

Cons:Nothing

Pros:Very fast drive.
Comment:
Tested against the OCZ Vertex Turbo drive, Intel takes the cake. The speed from these SSDs are fantastic and a very good upgrade for any computer using a single roational drive for everything. All the systems I build from this point onward will have SSD in them for the OS and application installs.

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:Never pay retail, pricematch..:)

Pros:Noticably quicker, multitaskers dream come true.
Comment:
This thing is so snappy, small reads and writes is its strong point. For an boot/operating system drive, it just blows me away. Altho the writes(90-100MB/s) are supposed to be kind of slow, I have yet to notice since my other drives dont read any faster. Programs just instantly install and instantly start. Its an amazing product highly recommended for any high end system!

Pros:Speed - Fast!Size - TinyNoise - None

As fast as people say this drive is. Just plug and play. Silent hard drive is just too awesome. Price is still steep but I had to jump on this upgrade - too big of a noticeable difference!

Good upgrade for first gen Macbook Pro
Comment:
I got this drive to as an upgrade for my late 2006 Macbook Pro. boot time is lighting fast and there is no waiting for any thing. Cut and my photo editing time down with not having to wait for big raw file to load. This is my first SSD but I did a lat of reading before I got this one and I am vary happy with it and plan to run at least one SSD in any machine I get from now on.

Awesome
Comment:
First time I've gone with performance drives since 2003 when the WD Raptors first hit the scene and I used 2 in raid 0. This drive offers the same capacity, but no messing with raid, no noise, and very small size. Unfortunately the price was about the same too, but you have to pay to play. This drive makes your pc lightning fast if your other hardware is decent. SSD rocks, and Intel's are great.

Currently one of the best ssd's you can get and should continue to get better so long as the firmware updates do not brick the drive like previous ones. Overall great for a boot drive.

Big Improvement
Comment:
I bought this for my Apple MacBook. The install was simple, started right up, then I restored from my Time Machine back up. I purchase this because I like the durability factor of these new drives. What I didn't realize is how fast my Macbook is with it. The incredible speed improvement is well worth the cost of these drives. Very Pleased

The speed in loading windows 7 and loading times for games is just amazing. Atleast 3 times faster then normal loading times. Best upgrade for a computer nowadays that I can think of. Get the biggest drive you can afford.

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:Not very good with firmware updates

Pros:It's very very very fast, the best upgrade money can buy for your computer
Comment:
I bought that drive because it's the fastest drive you can get and the best upgrade for the computer. So far, I'm not disappointed at all and with the newest 02HD firmware, TRIM works well with Windows 7 to keep the best performance without degradation. You won't regret buying this SSD.

This drive is super fast, my computer boots up in less than 30 seconds and shuts down in less than 15 seconds. I haven't had a chance to test its application load times thoroughly, but from what I've seen playing with L4D, it's definitly fast.

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:small sizeexpensiveno trim for raid

Pros:fastsmallno noise
Comment:
Its quick, but things still aren't instant (A LOT less waiting for HD, very quick restart but for some reason, slower sleep wake time, no raid support).a lot less icons with generic icon. icon pics loads much quicker, but still not instantanousits too bad that the new firmware didn't improve the 80gb's write speed as it did 160gb's write speedvery annoying that trim or any type of wiper/garbage collection tool won't work for it in raid array (but the new 2nd gen keeps 4k write speed pretty high even after use aka 24mb/s after its only got 7 gb left).

Pros:FAST! QUIET! FAST!
Comment:
This is an amazing drive! It's my first time having an SSD drive, but i know it's fast but i was blown away by this. I installed it on my Mac Pro and yes snow leopard works with it. For whoever is interested.. it took 10 min to install all of OSX Snow Leopard, about 10 seconds to boot up (i have a 2006 Mac Pro) but i hear thats slow compared to if i had an i7 cpu setup.

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:benchmarked against OCZ 60gb, tends to produce heat, whereas OCz's practically doesn't

Pros:benchmarked against OCZ 60gb, tremendous sequential read.
Comment:
I would strongly recommend this SSD drive to anyone wishing to revive an older laptop or desktop as system and/or work drive. Its burst sequential read is as amazing as was expected, the heat did come as a surprise. In order to reach similar (not even close to equal) speeds, required raid1+0 so 4 hdds. it's a no brainer, you need one.

Boot time cut in half. Loading Photoshop went from what felt like 30 seconds to about 5 seconds. Same thing for loading Firefox with tons of add-ons. With this upgrade, my AMD 4400+ k 2.4ghz and 2gb of ram will serve me well for another year.

Comment:
I swapped two of these with fairly fast hard drives and the difference in performance was amazing in both computers. It's a lot of money for a drive, but after seeing the performance in person it's hard not to put one in my own computer.
