OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:- Very high price per gigabyte (All Solid State Drives share this trait)- Mounting kit not included

Pros:- Read/Write Speeds well above all 10,000RPM drives. I get 235.5MB/s average write, 65-80MB/s average read- 20-30 second boot-up, lightning fast program starts and installations.- Very small, will go in anything from a laptop to full-tower case.- No moving parts so little heat creation and failure woes.- Good deal in respect to other SDD's on the market.- Small, easy to install
Comment:
I bought this drive as my last upgrade for the year to replace my trusty 160GB Hitachi Deskstar as my OS/boot drive. Despite being almost $400 down (I had to pay PST and GST), this was a great investment. I was a little upset when NCIX started raising the price of this drive every week, but that seems to have stopped and will probably go down. I recommend this drive to anyone seeking cutting-edge speed and silence in their computer. Of, course you'll likely be using another hardrive for file storage and NOT installing every game you own. Forget about using Raptors that sound like coffee grinders and die within years, solid state drives are the future. 5-Stars from me. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-05-09 07:06 PM

OEM X25M 80GB SSD G2 MLN 2.5IN SATA 9.5MM
Cons:80 gb is a tad bit tiny.Unsure if you can use Trim with onboard raid (ichr10 in my case), let's cross our fingers and hope Intel gets it up and running.

Pros:Super fastWill support Trim along with Windows 7.Very small, light and silent. Just sat it in my case out of the way which allowed better airflow.
Comment:
So far it's doing what I expected it to. It loads Windows and apps super fast. Cut my boot time in half, from 40s to 20s. (Old drive was a Velociraptor 300gb)You may say to yourself "20s lol big deal" and you would be right. You should only spend the cash on one of these if saving yourself a few seconds here and there while loading apps means something to you. Although, there could be considerable gains if you have a slower HD right now, especially a laptop. In my case speed matters ;P Everything is much more responsive.80GB doesn't really go too far when you load up 7GB+ games on there. You should probably stick to the OS and necessary work programs, like the Adobe series in my case.Sadly this won't speed up online games much, most of the delay tends to be from the "interweb". Not much change when testing WAR and others. Something like Mass Effect does benefit greatly though.I plan to get another for my games when i get around to it. I won't be raiding them until Trim is supported by my onboard raid.
