Works with various bus speeds. Zero failures of 10 pieces. none We had a lot of trouble locating a 1GB DDR2 that would work with some older boards but this component works with old an new hardware.

Works great in my motherboard. Program recognized it proper away. Would highly suggest acquiring a brand name memory like PNY than an off brand. Heat spreaders are a good added feature. NewEgg is great! None

Been using these as an upgrade for my desktop for over a month. Noticed a sharp improvement on response to everything. Maybe because I installed 2Gb. Works very well.

I bought two of these recently, one stick of ram failed within 3 days of installation, the other one seems to be passing all the memtests okay but, now I am concerned about its longevity

I have a simple e-machine we use for the family and internet so my max RAM is 2 Gigs. I tossed this chip in-maxed it out and was really blown away...we saw a instant improvement in web based games and searching pages. I would recommend this to anyone for a simple upgrade. BTW all the local stores wanted at least $10.00 more for the exact same chip, and it shipped to my house in two days!

Great memory for the money! Bought one from TG and another at Circuit City, same kind and brand of memory. Both work great! Never had any memory problems with them. Had both for over 4 months, best investment ever. Need great working memory for a great price, look no further!

After building this with 1 gig of cheaper dual channel was very disapointed I figured an X2-8500 PCIe and an Asus MB it should have been alot faster. Well adding a 1gig stick of this ram did make it rock! I'll be buying another stick and seeing how fast it is with/ without the dual channel, I'm guessing I'll be leaving just the PNY in.O yes the package does say PC2-5300

I have a similar issue to the previous writer. I bought 2 x 1GB sticks of this RAM, installed them on a VIA PC-1 Motherboard running Ubuntu and the system only recognized half the memory. Tried both sticks independently to ensure that one wasn't bad. Then I moved them over to a Dell/Windows machine and they worked perfect. Interesting to note that the old Buffalo RAM that came out of the Dell box works perfect in the VIA/Ubuntu box so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the board, slot or OS.

Got 4 of these in a pack with my Mobo. Installed easy, no problems whatsoever. My comp runs extremely fast. Got no cooling plates on them but they are running perfectly cool (may help that I have an Antec 900 case). Arrived within the week even though they were backlogged on them. Thanks tiger

I added this memeroy to my brand new XFX SLI system that is running 2 512 meg video cards and 2 meg memory. Like a previous writter it also only reads as 500 meg. I don't know why it does this but I will be calling PNY to see if they can give me some insight to it.

Ok i bought 3 gigs installed them all correctly like i have done before and and it only registers 2.75 gigs One of the sticks looked odd compared to others like it was a darker shade of green so my guess is they gaave me one stick of 768 and packaged it as a 1gig stick either way my computer works fine with it all i like it just a lil bumed it wasnt all 1 gig sticks one was less...

Purchased this with the rebate. Plugged it into my machine that I'm using as a DC/CA/DNS/E2K3 on W2K3 Ent @ 533 - not 667. Wanted more mem so I could put other apps on as well (testing). No problems. Recognized it right away. Couldn't beat the price as I had been looking for something like this at a cheap price. I wouldn't trust it for high end performance/production though. 12 bucks after shipping...can't beat that.

Got one of these . Seen as 512Mb in my (533Mhz) system. It claims to be compatible with 667/533/400 Mhz. The motherboard picked at TigerDirect last spring. PNY on its site warns that pre1999 systems could have this problem - see 50%, even 25% only - and recommend return. My system is definitely not pre1999. I think the real reason is that chips are defective. Conclusion: this chip is fishy, will not buy again. I did not trust much to PNY previously, now I am avoiding it as much as I can.

Added two of these to my acer T690. Made a big difference to Vista (Vista sucks up a lot of memory). On board video sucks up some memory (but thats the motherboard), but it does run quicker. The memory strips are physically different, but that does not seem to make a diferrence. All 2 gigs are recognized. Tech support at PNY was great too!!

Just a note to Chand who says that it is defective reading 448 MB,, If your using the onboard video on motherboard it will use up some of the memory causing it to read less, Install a video card and it will not use any of installed memory.
