Operates like a dream! None so far. My five-year-old system originally came with 512 MB of RAM. Many years ago I purchased a two-pack of PNY 1-GB memory sticks, and noticed the distinction proper away. Now, pushing the limits of my laptop's capabilities, I ordered one more set, bringing me up to the maximum capacity of four MB. I couldn't be happier! It's anything I could have hoped for. memory worked fine in old Dell Dimension 3000 P4 desktop. Shipped in really huge bubblewrap letter package and was opened when I got it but nonetheless worked fine. I am glad that the individual that opened it prior to I got it was unable to use it. |

Had upgraded about a yera and a half ago with an additional brand that lately quit on me so hopefully this will operate long term. So far computer system is truly quickly . Good value!! |

Memory upgrade brought a somewhat finicky Compaq desktop back to life. Uncomplicated installation, older machine now runs Windows 7 Pro with ease. None on the product....shipping from NJ took a week to Extended Island, but I opted for the slow boat from China option, I guess. Am now able to run Win 7 Pro 64-bit with no complications. |

Performed properly though they worked. Computer system started rebooting on its own right after 7 months. A single of the chips was causing it. I've in no way had a RAM chip fail just before in my life. The only conclusion I can come to is that these chips are garbage. My Motherboard recognized the memory right away. It is supposed to be 400 MHZ but it only runs at 200 MHZ in my computer system that has a 400 MHZ bus. My pc calls for dual channel memory and I purchased two dual channel pairs installed them properly and the chips only run at 200 MHZ. |

No fault of newegg and great buyer service. I installed the ram and everything seemed fine. Then I attempted playing a media file (movie)on my laptop and a loud higher pitch sound was coming from my speakers. I rechecked all connections and anything was fine. I decided to take the memory out and reinstall my old ram. the high pitch sound went away. So I reinstalled the new ram I bought once again and low and behold the high pitch sound returned. So I reinstalled my old ram and am now requesting an RMA.
