They have a rugged heavy really feel compared to some of the other brands of "value" ram. Worked at rated specs without having any tweaking in the bios on a finicky motherboard. Running dual channel no dilemma. Boosted the performance as expected. This ram has 8 chips on each sides of the stick so there must be no issue working in older finicky mobos. none I have by no means had a challenge with PNY brand, it has often been trustworthy for me when I am going to use it in stock applications. Replaced two 512meg sticks on my ASUS P4V800D-X mobo. I did a replacement instead of attempting to add due to the fact this mobo is notorius for not operating proper with all the slots filled.
