PNY Dual Channel 4096MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory

Excellent RAM for the value.Dual channel configuration runs smoothly.I purchased this RAM at 800MHz when I could have gotten away just acquiring 667 at stock speeds.This RAM keeps up with and exceeds my technique.The user manual for my Asus P5K common mobo reports a stock 1066MHz external FSB capable of up to a 1333 automatic bump/OC if the processor calls for it (pretty neat).So I place a Dual Core E8400 in it and did some OC'ing to reach 1600MHz and get a 1Ʌ ratio with the RAM.Every thing stayed stable in this configuration through a Prime95 and Folding@Home SMP 24 hour binge on both cores, so I'm satisfied with this RAM being in a position to maintain up. None so far. I'll see how this RAM holds up after a year. I did not overclock the RAM itself because I didn't have a need to have to. Other reviews say this RAM does not OC well. I do not know. I have also because removed my OC and get a fiveɈ DRAM to FSB, so RAM nonetheless more rapidly.

Go figure, I ordered 667 MHz memory and they sent 800 MHz memory. No complaints here...It operates, straightforward as that. It isn't faster or free? :)

The Shipping was rapid, still haven't tried it out but it seams fine it took 3 days to ship None so far I purchased it for an upgrade for my current Pc but the Max it can take is 2gb's so i decided to develop a new Computer and use the ram on there

The ram was very effortless to install. It powered correct up with the only error message from the technique telling me it saw a diverse amount of RAM. But in this instance, that was a excellent factor. Upgraded from 1 stick of 512 to four GB of dual channel. Speed distinction is incredibly noticeable. Windows boots faster. Apps load quicker. Constantly trusted PNY memories and had no difficulties with them. This was an upgrade to my HP s3120n running Vista x32. Since Vista can recognize at least three.5mb memory could as well max it out. Like the heat spreader. none Newegg delivered my order within a week and had superior email communication. Tracking number was correct.

Functions No heat spreaders,, and barely any information on them. Have no way of visibly knowing what the RAM is by looking at the sticks themselves. meh

The value was appropriate. My HP slimeline only had two slots and was running incredibly slow with only 1G ( two-512's) Bought two-2G sticks. What a distinction four G made in performance. They ran initially time out of the box. Absolutely nothing so far Like the lifetime warranty

price tag wise, Cheep...incredibly cheep. Staples workplace supplys, had the same ram but only one 2gb card, for 80 bucks and new egg has two 2gb cards for almost half as significantly. I have never ever had any troubles with the PNY items, would reconmend to any one. no heat sink? but for the value who cares? I have constantly picked newegg more than, any personal computer components supplyer because they have wonderful prices and easy coustmer help.

Fantastic Memory Snaped in and absolutely nothing else to do runs and works fantastic, will replace my two-1GB sticks giving me a total of 8GB. Genuinely High quality Stuff will be acquiring yet another 4GB shortly. None I see but Get as considerably as your pc will hold at this value.

Worked in my Optiplex 745. Heat spreader was good. Got 8 gigs for a good cost. Soon after a couple of weeks my technique started crashing randomly, memtest86+ indicated that 1 of the four modules was bad.All goods have a failure rate, so I can not say that my experience will be common.Waiting to see if PNY is going to exchange my bad module for a new 1.

Low cost. Stable. Decent latencies. none Only 2.75 GBS of ram show up employing WindowsXp 32 bit. I guess XP can only use that a lot. Even although 4GBS is shown in the bios. Want to upgrade to vista.

Excellent cost and top quality, have bought quite a few PNY goods in the past and have no problems with their goods. None I had bought two of these 4GB kits and immediately after installing the memory, my method became extremely unstable. It became very slow and un-responsive at times with 4GB and 8GB configs, had no problems with 2GB config. After performing some checking, I found the problem was not with the memory but with the on-board NIC. The driver was causing DMA/IRQ (don't remember which 1) conflicts with the memory. I disabled the on-board NIC and my complications had gone away.OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit – All updates installedMotherboard: Asus P5NSLI - Bios revision 1801Onboard NIC: Marvell Yukon Gigabit - Driver Version 10.66.4.3Updated drivers have been released given that I resolved my issue but have not tried re-enabling the on-board NIC with the new drivers.

- It's low cost in cost - It's low cost in good quality So, I thought I'd give this RAM a shot and upgrade later. Soon after installing this RAM I ran MemTest86 and it popped several errors every single pass. So, I tested each stick by itself and tested every single slot by itself with no errors. I replced almost everything as it was and the RAM continued to cause errors in MemTest, I went aheaded and loaded Windows thinking there have to be something else going on, at this point most of my program became corrupted. Right after a couple of days of messing with my method I finally got everything back running and now the RAM has no errors...

The memory is a wonderful buy! PNY has applied Samsung 800 Mhz memory chips that are backwards compatible to slower clock speeds. Even although these PNY sticks claim to be 667 Mhz, they're truly 800 Mhz memory! NewEgg Shipped Quick (EggSaver), but Delivery was quite slow.

I've been very happy with this ram. I upgraded from 4 (1gb) sticks to 4 (2gb) sticks, with my upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 4bit. The packaged doesnt say 5400 it says 5300 so dont buy it thinking that this is slightly better than 5300. looks sharp runs good. I've had them for about 2 months now.

Plug and Play - no installation problems at all. Mobo picked it up right away. Compact cooling plates will fit any computer.
