Was inexpensive with the rebate, then having to RMA'ing it tends to make me not eligible for the rebate, so not such a great deal.Now that I've got my replacement my laptop or computer is lastly stable and runs fine. Negative Dimm of ram and had to RMA it so I will almost certainly loose my rebate that made it worthwhile, so now it's not such a superior deal. I thought Corsair had better quality manage than that. Beware of rebates as usually, but at least the RMA program works, but makes the consumer pay for shipping so you finish up paying much more just to replace a defective item.I got a lemon and couldn't make lemonade... :/

easy just swtiched out the old stick and popped these bad boys in and not a single challenge with boot will defiently obtain from patriot and newegg once more when i construct my super gaming computer this christmas i went with the egg-saver and had the usps give me the runn about all week trying to discover exactly where my parcel was!!!!so no fault of newegg or patriot just a believed go with the king use FEDEX

Price tag This was a bundled savings combo with this memory coupled with Foxconn R20-D2 Intel Atom D510 Intel NM10 Intel GMA 3150 Barebone Item#:N82E16856119024. This memory has heat sinks on them which I knew about, but they DO NOT allow for the CD/DVD to be installed into the drive. With the heat sinks on, the actual memory is taller than the cd/dvd installation bay. SHAME on NEWEGG for marketing this combo deal with this memory. I ASSUMED that they had already measured this height and created confident it fits. Now the computer system I built for my pre-schooler had the best cover off and the DVD sitting on best with the whole MB and laptop or computer contents exposed. The memory works fine... Now you mean to tell me I have to invest in 4 a lot more GB of memory with No heat sinks in order to fit every thing in!Newegg... pls do your homework before you advertise these combo offers.

I put it into my old Computer to put some life into it and it functions flawlessly. No troubles with my asus m2n4-sli. Additional RAM is one of the best upgrades you can make if your current Computer has less than 2GB. None

Nice construct excellent, works as advertised. Unable to OC more than 900Mhz, utilizing two sets appears to conflict with each and every other. Not confident if I would acquire this set of ram once again but you get what you pay for.Was replacing 8 gigs of black dragon geil that burned out after keeping a 1100Mhz oc for a year. when it worked for the very first few months it was excellent, got it low cost on sale here at new egg, had it ocd to 1200 mhz, ran issues mad rapid combined with an AMD phenom IIx3 black edition at 3.three ghz on air, but then... soon after about three or so months, one of the mem modules crapped out on me, but the weird factor was, my pc booted with each sticks in as soon as, but my BIOS was flickering and when i booted into windows, only 2gb of the 4gb was recognized, i am now using 1 of the 2gb sticks for now but its not enough for gaming or something intense, specifically on my 64 bit system, i really wish this didnt occur i was pleased with my item until that happened effectively overall i guess perhaps i was just one of the couple of that received defective memory, and points happen, i just didnt want it to take place to me, this wont quit me from buying patriot merchandise although Manufacturer Response:Hello Clark,We are sorry for any inconvenience this might have triggered you. Looks cool.... The very first set i bought didn't work. Computer wouldn't boot effectively. I utilized in three diverse computers and all had the same issue. So I had to spend 10 much more dollars to RMA the memory. When the new set finally arrived...It had the precise very same challenge. It's like they didn't even test the chips just before they sent new ones. I am now stuck with two paper weights mainly because I can't RMA it again for some reason. I want my dollars back. Fantastic specs. Excellent cost with rebate. Third RMA, I have now ate up in shipping what I thought I saved with this "Deal" This is my 1st knowledge and will be my last with this corporation.Oh yeah, because the memory is garbage, it corrupted a bunch of my files, trashed a couple of my virtual machines. Now I have five hours recovering my files that Patriot trashed. Thanks buddy. Good memory. I've owned a 4GB set for really a even though and it's operating nicely. Wanted to get much more, see below. Poor newegg. This memory was on sale for ฟ off via 6Ǘ, throughout which it was "out of stock". As soon as the sale expired it was magically back in stock again. Not a superior way to do business IMO.

Performs well, great cost for what you get. Looks cool. 1 of my two DIMMs was non-functional (machine would not reliably post...only about 1Ǟth of the time and would at times crash randomly with it installed.) Had to return, but reordered the identical, will see how that goes. I wouldn't be surprised if total cheapo spending budget RAM was dead out of the box, but this is supposedly decent "gaming grade" RAM...unacceptable. Positive if it takes place it's an effortless fix but it is darned inconvenient, especially simply because an RMA needs both DIMMs to be returned, even if only one was defective. BIOS recognized immediately, increased Video Encoding Significantly. Overall expertise is swifter. None to my knowledge Upgraded from 3 GB to 7 GB, running Win7 Ultimate, 1 TB, Athlon II two.9 GHz. Only bottleneck now is integrated graphics.

Lucky sufficient to have 1 chip that worked..... .....since the other chip didn't!! Would'nt even boot to a windows install. Though it's easier to diagnose this way, with the quantity of problems noticed in this thread, I'm surprised that Newegg/Patriot haven't pulled this product. Be warned, the packaging for the RAM chips is not sealed, i.e. the chips can be removed & replaced with out damaging or altering the packaging. I personally dislike this sort of packaging for volatile items like RAM which is why I'll take the refund and get a unique producers RAM. With rebate, the cost is terrific. The specs on the memory are very superior with 5-five-5-12. The heat spreader works properly and is not overly massive two out of four kits failed consistently on memtestᄢ testing, so a 50% failure rate. I even tried changing speed to see if it was just out of spec a little, but the memory nonetheless failed. I 10 years I have by no means noticed such a bad failure rate from a well recognized corporation. Is Patriot having QA problems? dunno, but I feel I will stick with Kingston or Critical subsequent time, even if it's บ-20 far more, I don't have to invest ŭ to return defective chips and wait two weeks to get them back. Good RAM: I'm fairly pleased with the product. Got it on a price match, and the pickup in-store in Markham was a breeze, where the staff were very attentive. The rebate still hasn't arrived, as Patriot leaves a 6-8 week window: this is a touch annoying because its the price that sold me on this set in the first place.

Bought these for just under $100 not including the rebate. Need to up the RAM voltage to 1.9V to avoid errors in memtest. The tall heatsinks may cause issues with certain CPU heatsinks as it barely clears my Alpine 64.

I bought these to upgrade my computer to 4GB. The heatsinks are taller than my previous Corsairs, so I had trouble with my Scythe CPU cooler fan. Had to raise my CPU fan up to accomodate these. Make sure you have enough clearance over the ram slots for these.
