PowerUp Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
Comment:
I bought this case in a barebones kit, at one of the tiger direct stores. When i finished assembling the computer the power wouldnt turn on. This was my first time building a PC, i speculated it was the PSU but as a first timer i thought it couldve been something else (like the processer because i grounded my self with my kitchen tap) but i put the mobo in another case (from old PC) and it worked, Case is too cheap, power cord not too long, FRONT USB wire wasnt as nearly long enough and i cut my self taking out the back panel. I wonder if i coud get a full refund? because i dont need the case ps.....im only 14, and for those trying to build a computer....ITS NOT THAT HARD

Came with an economy kit. Case is roomy and looks OK for econo lighted case. Power button sticks unless I push it slowly in until it just makes connection. When it sticks the power supply shuts down after about 5 seconds. Room for lots of hard drives, drive coolers, CD ROMS as well as floopy drives. A fair deal all things considered. Audio cable may be too short for some full size motherboards. $20 more will get a Xion II Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply. A better choice IMO.

got it on the barebone kit; sharp edges cut my fingers when cleaning. cool see-thru and color case fan thou. bargain $ but not design well. the 6 bottom 3.5'' drive holders are too close to MOBO. i try to move the drives to the front, but there no screw holes. had to first unplug a lot of wires from MOBO to put in HD. had to slide it back to find screw holes to hold it. only half inch away from the MOBO. the front has 2 inches of wasted space. every time I add new drives I have to unplugs 6 wires !

This tower is an okay tower i built my first one with this brand with no problem and then the second tower i received for a tower remodification well lets just say that it sounded like a turbo engine...the fan was scratching against the plastic outer part and the power button, leds, or reset button were functioning properly and i do know what im doing since i own a computer repair business.

Awesome case, It fits everything i throw at it. I popped a huge 8800GT into this and it has plenty of breathing room. The power supply fit snug and the hard drive installation was a snap. Awesome case for any gamer or general user.

Comment:
I purchased this case for a first PC for my son. After getting everything in, I started it up, and thought it was great. After about 5 minutes I noticed a funny burning smell. Turns out the Power Supply fan isnt working at all! So I have to now either remove all my components and return the entire case or get a new power supply. ALso, the audio cable is too short. Needs about 3 inches. If my MOBO werent micro it would never work. The lights are nice as well as the space inside.

This case looks better in real life than on here. I bought 2, and psu's are great, everything including front audio panel works, and the airflow is by far better than I expected. It has GREAT airflow. Ppl dissing the psu are probably running systems that require higher wattage psu's. Only thing is front audio connector barely reached the plug on the mobo. Lights are way better irl. I don't understand why ppl obsess over lightweight cases I actually prefer them and have used similar cases for the last 8 years no prob. Wouldn't a heavier thicker case just trap in more heat? Either way best deal on a case I've seen in a while. I was expecting cheap and crappy, and instead got impressive and sleek. Getting ready to order bout 5 more. Thanks Tiger.

PowerUp Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
Comment:
This is a pretty good case. It looks cool, its very spacious, and the power supply works fine. I replaced the included 80mm fan with a green one. I also installed a 120mm green led fan. It looks pretty cool. For the price I paid I think I got a pretty good deal. The only cons that I can see is with the I/O shield. I couldn't seem to fit my motherboards i/o shield in quite right. It fits but it sticks out a little. Also, the front panel audio connector won't reach my motherboard. The usb connectors reach, but the audio won't. But neither of those things are a big deal. Just use the audio jack on the back of the computer.

For the money, this is a great case/power supply. Looks nice, with cool lights (my son loves it). Power supply adequate for AMD 5000+ processor, XFX 9800 GT processor. Ok, it is a thin and light, but what do you expect for this price!

It's perfect for me, I used to finally put my gamer into a decent case. The power-supply included works fine for me it runs my OC'ed 5200X2, hd3850 and 4 gigs of RAM fine, plus my blu-ray and dvd drives and hard drives(2). Cooling is pretty good, didn't have any problems installing Micro ATX board and for the sale price in store it could not be beat!!!

PowerUp Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
Comment:
I bought the case as a barebones kit. The case came with all the hardware loose inside not rapped in anything. The front cover had to be removed in order to get all the screws out. The side panel fan was put on backwards. The power supply made a funny sound like it was shorting out the first few times I plugged it in although it never did. I ran it for about 8 hours straight just to make sure it would not catch fire. The front audio wire was almost too short to reach the audio plug on the mated mother board. The side panels stick out just a bit. The paint job not the best and looks very thin in some areas. Once powered up the case looks beautiful although there is definitely a quality control issues. But for the price I can only complain a little.

My case arrived intact and working. The bag of screws and accessories came opened, though. Came as part of a barebones kit. There are no instructions or documents included, so this may not be for virgin builders. The supplied faceplate on the back was annoying to get off cleanly to install the motherboard's faceplate. I haven't had a problem with the power supply with a 5000+ x2, 7200rpm hdd, lightscribe dvd burner, 1 80mm and 1 120mm fan, the several LEDs included with the case, 2GB 667mhz ram, and msi mobo. I am about to install a discrete vid card, so I may need to upgrade. The front USB connectors cable was really short, and barely made it to the spot on the mobo. Other than that, I've had no problem. Good case, may buy again.

This case came in a barebones kit I recently purchased here. Was nervous about it cause there has been a lot of negative feedback written about this case. I was quite relieved to find I had no problems what so ever after putting everything together and fireing it up. Been using it for about a week now. I did not overclock anything on my MB and am happy with my speed. Came with an ECS A780GM-A MB, an AMD Athalon 64x2 4600+ proc. and 2gig of ram. The only negative thing I can say is the metal is a bit flimsy. As long as you just fasten screws snug and not overtighten you should be ok.

I just got this case today for my wife. Yes the buttons stick. I got a #4 spring cut it down to the right lengths and placed it behind the buttons .. No more stick and works fine. Be carfull doing this I have built over 20 desktops now and know my way around these cases This is not the best case I have gotten by far but for the $$ it works great for wifey who will just play mijong, hook it up to her Criket machine, Look at pics of the grand kids and do e-mail. This is by far not a gaming case like mine, but for light duty this fits the bill at the right price. Have not had it long enough to see if the PS will burn but hey at this price I will just throw her old one in it. This was part of a bundle. So far Tiger has never let me down

The power button switch on front was bad, it would stick making the computer shut down randomly, so I drilled a hole in one of the empty floppy disk bay plate covers and mounted a new push button switch there.

LED lights on front panel did not work. Also the audio cable from the front cover did not reach the port on my mobo. Might just be the mobo but it could have used an extra 3 inches for comfort fit.

Poor design. Start up switch wire had to be resodered, since computer would not power up when new. Location of hard drive screw holes allow only 1 screw on each side of hard drive to be connected inside of cabinet. Front trim had to be reattached since hot glue technique was not strong enough.

This case looks great ,good for the price. Only thing they don't tell you it includes and 80mm lighted side fan. This would have been nice since I ordered another one not knowing it had just what i needed right in the box.
