PowerUp Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
Comment:
Ok, so it is a little ugly. I am really not into all the red lights and chrome but the case does what it is supposed to do. It holds and powers your stuff. The power supply seems fairly well built and works fine. The drive bays are simple stamped steel, but also work fine. The mounting surfaces are thin but do the job. Lots of room and well ventilated. I suggest the addition of a 120mm case fan on the rear for additional exhaust. The side fan is pretty but a little on the anemic side if you plan to add a bunch of drives and a hot CPU or video card. Overall a good case, at a very good price.

Its an extremely nice case. The case looks awesome with the lights and mine had a nicer paint job than in the pictures. My Plexiglass was a tad scuffed, but that is due to wires and stuff hitting it during shipping i assume. Excellent case, tons of room, powersupply works fine, can't wait to give to my customer. Yes, this is an inexpensive case and not as sturdy as high priced models. But...all of my components were easy to install, and once up and running it looks really neat. My granddaughter just fell in love with the looks when all the lights lit up. The power supply has been flawless. It has been running constantly for over six days now with no problems. I used a Biostar TA780G M2+ MOBO, AMD A64X2 4600, 2GB OCZ RAM, 250GB Western Digital HD, HP DVD writer. I am so impressed that I am ordering two more for Christmas gifts. Thanks again Tiger

PowerUp Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
Comment:
This case is for someones first build. It is very basic, meaning nothing is tool less and it only has 2 fanports. The second fanport is on the clear side panel which is a red led 80mm fan. The case is very sturdy but the clear side panel is a little cheap but works great even though it does not have thumb screws. The power supply was very light weight so I was afraid it would not last long but is working for a month now. The front panel is a little cheap and the front media ports are very cheap, you might want to replace them. Over all the case looks great, holds up great, the front and clear panels are made of lower grade plastics, and does not have the cooling capabilities I wanted. I got it on sale for $20.00 so worth the price but I will definitely buy a better tool less case next time.

Comment:
My only gripe about this box it the VERY thin metal it is made from. Which causes the screws to strip out easy. My box had some minor damage from the factory when they put the side panel on crooked, and cross threaded the screws.

Great case for the money!... Plenty of room nice layout and great airflow. Nice sturdy case and power supply is ample for most basic installations. This is a steel case, but very lightweight. Took about 20 min to install Mobo, SATA hardrive and DVD/RW. Installing Windows took longer actually. Great Value!

Like they all say, you get what you pay for. i got this with the barebone kit, pcchips mobo with a dual core amd something..( i forgot ). everything went well. of course the psu fail after a month. i had 2 gigs of ram. some cheap gef i core 7600 gefore and the amd dual core, i think it was the 3800+. i replaced the psu with a 350 antec. from there everything works well. case holes screws did line up as well, butg with a little bit of force mobo will fit. i cant complain for the price, just have to work around it. Would i get it again? Yes, if i was to build a cheap computer for just simple web brownsing, windows application, and the vid card was installed just to play counter strike 1.6 and css. I dont think it will run TF2, non the less for get crysis.

I like the case, it's easy to install the ''ineards''. So far It has preformed well. My only regret is that they put it on sale a week after I got mine.

You get what you paid for! It's a cheaper case, but it does the trick! Got this case as part of a barebone kit and built it for my 4 yr son, he loves it. The case looks pretty nice for the money!

PowerUp! seems to get a bad rap every so often but I have used PowerUp! cases on three builds and each one was just right for what our needs were. The only slight mishaps you might find is that you'll have one screw in the power supply that will be a difficult fit, but it can be done; and once, in this case, the wire leading to the sound had to be lowered to be able to reach the pins. Don't let that stop you. The circuit board fits very well as does all the other components. The case is sturdy. Use common sense and don't force it to bend and don't drop it on the floor. I will use PowerUp cases again and again.

I have purchased 3 of these cases, the first one I purchased I loved working with, yea, there could be improvments, but look at the price and since the first one I've purchased 2 more and the first one is still going strong, that was 3 years ago and I'm going to to purchase another one here real soon.

this is a very cheap case , as expected though. The power button sticks, and the power supply is missing a screw, it looks alright though, it will have to work for the price , its running a AMD 64 x2 5000+ ,2.6 . PSU fine so far, only been on less than week though, fingers crossed.......

I have not seen a flimsier case than this one. The metal is really thin and I have to lift it from the bottom to keep the metal from warping. The plastic front of the case (that I received) was broken right where the screw held it to the metal part. I had to glue it back together. The 3.5'' drive slots don't align properly with the front of the case. Compare to other $40.00 cases, this is the bottom. The PSU lasted one year. I didn't like the screwless adapter slots in the back, just too flimsy... I drilled holes to screw down the adapter cards.

i purchased this case and i really like it. but....... there are a few problems with the case. when it got to my house there was a 2 inch crack in the top of the case! i was mad but too lazy to return. it is very flimzy but it was cheap and thats the way i shop. other than those minor issues and a bottle of crazy glue, i enjoy the look and function of this case :)

i got this case with a barebone set on the receipt it said like 33$ for the case like the others my power suplly went out. when i took it out i could tell it was real cheap but thats what i expected. the case itself is worth 30 bucks tho. i swapped out the power supply for a thermaltake 500 with the big bottom fan so thats just one extra of the many places to get rid of heat in this case. also i unplugged the front red leds but left the blue buttons and swapped thered fan out for blue.

Quickly - THIS HAS 2x120mm FAN SLOTS AND 1x80mm RED LED FAN!!! This is a nice little case. It is cheap and a little difficult to add components too, but that's expected. The motherboard plate doesn't come out and the face plate is really hard to take off. Great case for a first time builder.

This is a great case except for the fact that the power supply burned out and started smoking after a day of use. Case is flaky and impossible to remove the motherboard plate in the back without damaging the entire case. I'd avoid this case at all costs.

An extremely light case. Everything works and the power supply has been fine unlike some of the other reviews. It looks great with all the LED's lit. The only fault is that the screws are flimsy. The stripped the third time I opened the case. Replace them and you'll be fine.

I got this case in a package I bought, great shipping but sad enough that the package when put together ran for about an hour and then died. Lot of swapping with my other computer narrowed it down to either the case or the mobo. My other computer does not support connecting this mobo or the case, so returning both back to tigerdirect

The screws where overtourqed on my case at the factory so the plastic was cracked. The power supply lasted exactly 4 hours before it died.So only buy this case for looks not for function.Be prepaired to fix it when you get yours.

All in all a good case there is a couple of issues the space between the hd and the cd drive is to far so you have to mave your cd drive to the bottom and work the ribbons a bit i would recomend a sata hd upgrade if your buying the bare bones kits not much more $ really then there is the issue of the front audio cable it is enirely to short i acually had to pull the connector half off the front to get it to clip in to the mobo ( i bought the ams mobo bare bones) other then that a very good case, looks included.
