RANGEMAX DUAL BND WLS USB 2.0 ADPT
Comment:
Push-button feature is nice. Auto-computer software update is appealing as well. Employing in conjunction with a new NetGear WNDR3700 - fast/ez setup. Absolutely nothing i can see seriously. I'm not a big fan of USB thumbsticks hanging off of everything, but it's the way of things right now. Entire setup is a bit pricey, but I'm looking for something that will last a even though. The adapter comes with a "USB extention cord", which is nice. It's about 18" lengthy - would prefer 6' since i'd use it for one thing else :) . Delight in |

Works amazing! Using it in a basement and its absolutely destroying the old wireless G solution. The software that came with it is no good though, so I know have it using the windows zero configuration. |
Reception in 2.4 Ghz range is outstanding. Cost is a small steep.Reception in 5 Ghz range is not so exceptional. A fantastic product if you operate it in conjunction with the right router. I originally utilised this with a Netgear WNR3500 router and it consistently dropped connections...my wife was not pleased because it was her laptop. Mainly because I had other problems with that router I sold it and purchased a Netgear WNDR3700 dual band router. WOW!!! What a difference! No signal drops and the throughput is phenomenal...particularly on 2.4Ghz band. I was ready to give up on this adapter when I just produced the leap of faith (based on excellent critiques) on receiving the superior more high end Netgear router and boy was I pleased with the result.
