RAZER Orochi Black Bluetooth Notebook Gaming Mouse
Comment:
It worked nicely and I have had no major concerns with it for now. If you're looking for a fantastic gaming mouse for wireless gaming, this is it. It also functions exceptionally well for wired gaming. Though these are not truly cons, they are items that bugged meɅ) It didn't come with a Bluetooth Adapter and my laptop didn't have one particular. I know it's a bit nitpicky, but I had to spend 15 bucks on one. 2) The cord for wired play is really actually brief in my opinion, it just barely operates for my 17.3 inch laptop.

Its quite accurate and stylish. Its very modest. like i have a mobile logitech mouse now and im fairly employed to little but this mouse is seriously tiny. Unless you like getting to curl your fingers 120 degrees or you have baby hands i dont believe this will fit you. Also, i could not get the bluetooth to perform on my windows 7 laptop. And the cord is miniature.

Excellent mouse more than all! 1. The "Wheel" is additional responsive compared to my Razer DeathAdder. two. The side buttons has a excellent location.3. Additional DPI settings, compared to my Razer DeathAdderfour. Enjoy the "FREE" batteries included in the "FREE" small pouch the mouse comes with.5. The USB that connects to the mouse fits on good and snug6. The Lighting on the mouse is also excellent. It functions with the lighting on my Alienware M17x7. I like the magnetic case on the mouse.8. The non-tangle USB cord is just wonderful; on the other hand, it is too lengthy so I have to connect it to the other side of my Alienware M17x.9. absolutely nothing is perfect...1. its too tiny. I have been using my Razer DeathAdder mouse for much more than 6 months and it is bigger than the Orochi. Difficult to get employed to.2. the 8ms lag for the duration of bluetooth mode seriously kills me when playing IW's Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2, but the USB cord that connects to the Orochi takes reduces the lag to 1ms.three. It does not come with a gun O.o hehe jk.. The Delivery was Incredibly rapid. I got the Razer Orochi as nicely as my Alienware Orion Backpack the very same week i ordered it.More than all it is a fantastic mouse!

This mouse is costly, but getting gone through 3 wireless mice on my laptops, this a single is the very best so far. Almost everything from the mouse down to the packaging is top rated-notch. - Straightforward to set up and use- Outstanding ergonomics- Very precise tracking- Versatility--use it corded or cordless - Pricey, but you're getting what you pay for- Buttons 6 and 7 on the suitable side are tough to use appropriate-handed, but most likely placed symetrically on the mouse to retain an ambidextrous style. This is the third Razer product I've purchased and it's constant with the high good quality that I've come to anticipate. The 1st thing I did when I paired it with my laptop was check the issue that others have complained about in their reviews about the mouse "jumping" soon after approx. 5 seconds of inactivity. It may well vary depending on the computer, but in my case it is negligible - no unique than other Bluetooth mice I've owned. The tracking is smooth and precise, and there are no moving parts except the on/off switch - the top cover of the mouse is held on magnetically, generating access to batteries and USB plug-in straightforward and no worries about wearing out plastic pieces from repeated removal and replacement. Ergonomics are outstanding despite its size - a quite all-natural fit below my hand. No worries if you're caught with dead batteries, just plug it in. If you can justify the price, IMHO the Orochi is worth it.

2000 dpi in wireless modeBluetooth two. help Enters sleep mode inside seconds of inactivity causing the mouse pointer to jerk when woken up. The sleep mode ought to be user adjustable. I bought this mouse to replace my Logitech G7 which often had troubles with interference from other two.4Ghz wireless devices in my house (especially the router under heavy bandwith usage). The Orochi is the only 2000dpi Bluetooth mouse on the market and is worth the cost if you want the combination of wireless, high sensitivity and accuracy, and a non-2.4Ghz frequency.

Responds speedily, bluetooth stays connected superior than other mobile mice i've tried. The dual corded/bluetooth capabilities are super handy. Girls game too. The 'ergonomic' style is clearly meant for an 18-34 yr old dude. The size is *just* slightly too significant for my hand, therefore I have to hold the mouse in a weird way, and I maintain hitting those 'sensitivity-on-the-fly' buttons on the correct hand side. When you're in the middle of gaming and your mouse sensitivity goes to hell, it's annoying.I've also noticed that sometimes I have to click things twice prior to they'll register. I didn't have this problem with any other mice I've used. As a human-computer interaction specialist, I have to say that though the Razer Orochi is a nice piece of technologies, they didn't fully consider the style through. I would round off the edges on either side of the mouse, get rid of the deep/sharp finger molds...for somebody whose hand is just slightly smaller than the design, it leads to me getting to adjust my mouse usage in a way that isn't healthy for my natural state. I actually believe that if that 1 style flaw were revamped, you'd have an wonderful piece of gaming machinery right here.

Portability, Top quality, Features. Design Layout, Cost, no bluetooth adapter included. This is a terrific small mouse, i purchased it to take gaming on the road. it comes with numerous functions, have had a excellent encounter in both wired and wireless mode. it feels actually durable and i like the size for mobility, not advised as a desktop mouse (you can get greater waaay cheaper). The mouse characteristics 7 buttons two on both sides but the size will make (which ever main hand you use ) the opposite side very challenging to take benefit of. I was also disappointed that it did not come with a bluetooth dongle considering the price. I WAS in a position to mate it with a cheapo bluetooth dongle i purchased for a DOLLLAR!!! why razer could not just contain one particular is beyond me...

RAZER Orochi Black Bluetooth Notebook Gaming Mouse
Cons:- Bluetooth doesn't respond rapidly (when it's on sleep mode, you have to move the mouse a little to be active, which is not comfortable)- Pretty small (not comfortable for pure gaming)- Installing the battery can be difficult and fragile (opening the battery case from the mouse is a delicate stuff to do to be sure to do not broke the mouse)

Pros:- Very compact- Easy to use/install- Good battery life in bluetooth- mouse case/battery included- Good quality- 4000DPI when wired, and 2000DPI when wireless (with bluetooth)
Comment:
In overall, this mouse is the best for notebook users. Great for people who want to great compact quality notebook mouse. I do not recommand it for pure gamers, because the mouse feature is not good as the desktop gaming mouse, but still usable for small game. Don't forget to buy a good mouse pad (it's not included)

Cons:Cost, smaller than a regular mouse that can sometimes result in cramping if used for long duration of time, wheel begins to squeak after a few months

Pros:Ergonomic, compact, detachable cable for easy transportation, easy to customize using software, Bluetooth works great
Comment:
I bought this mouse primarily for school as it was small, wireless, and easily fit into my laptop bag. However, I soon found myself using this mouse for gaming (Fallout 3, SC2, Diablo 2, etc.) and was surprised by its excellent response, fluidity, and comfortable fit for long gaming sessions. I found the wheel became to squeak after a few months, which is slightly annoying, but other than that it is a solid mouse. This is my first Razer product and I would buy this mouse again.

Even though it worked it was a fantastic mouse. Quick and responsive and generally enjoyable Razer... the mouse has stopped working on bluetooth and no patter what i attempt i haven't been able to get something out of razer. A individual wont even speak to me. All i got was an e-mail 8 days right after my initial request for support with the idea of update the driver (i was already employing the newest one) and update the firmware (again i was already utilizing the newest) So now following all of that i have a wonderful paperweight to go with my pc and i'm back to working with a M$ mouse that whilst not as nice as the Orochi at least bloody operates.I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything i can feel of for this thing and i'm at a loss at what to do, and i would Adore some actual tech assistance from Razer but apparently they cant or wont help me so i really feel a bit let down after all of this. It was a good mouse for a very short time, and i can see why so numerous individuals support their merchandise, but after all the wonderful items i hear i'm just let down by the entire experience. I know my situation is a bit rare, but i would love even a bit of help with this and they apparently arent willing to supply that.

Good mouse overall. The corded for gaming and the blue tooth for anything else is awesome. Honestly I'd acquire it again if I had to do it all over once again. The good quality is really high and so far every little thing on it remains very good as new. A rechargible battery or ion pack would have been a nice addition for the price or even a small much more, but other than that its great.

Great wireless portable gaming mouse if that is what your after. Just like my razer mice i took no time to get used to. Would be great if you are a "claw grip" user. But what would you expect from a wireless notebook mouse? They are generally smaller. Just make sure you pair this baby up with the Razer Kabuto. Wouldnt wanna be grinding this baby up on random surfaces. (Y)

Lots of versatility (Bluetooth or wired)Really comfyCord length is great, also cloth coveredWith batteries installed weight feels perfectNice lights (looks excellent with my Alienware M11x) Aside from the overly slick sides this mouse is ideal in just about every way. This mouse is the great companion for an individual needing a mobile mouse + gaming mouse. For everyday computing use the mouse with wireless bluetooth, when you are prepared to game plug in the cord for greater dpi and lag free of charge gaming. I have huge hands and this mouse feels great (although I'm a side gripper, I don't typically rest my hand on the mouse) which brings up one more point... the sides are quite slick, like mouse feet slick! I will most likely attach some small pieces of grip tape to the sides. There is no software disk included, not a challenge but reading through the various drivers can be somewhat confusing at www.razorsupport.com I clicked on the 1 with the most downloads, and it happened to be the appropriate one for windows 7. Please don\'t forget people, the cord is there for a reason not just in case your batteries die. Don't discredit this mouse mainly because you are getting trouble gaming working with Bluetooth.

I've owned this mouse for more than a year now. Commonly, it's a good mouse. It's smaller but comfy adequate for the typical hand size. Other people have mentioned plenty about the micro-sleep this mouse does in wireless mode. Honestly, I've gamed plenty with this mouse (CoD, WoW, SCII mainly) and I noticed that as lengthy as you continuously move the mouse, as you ought to in gaming, it'll never go into a micro sleep. It's seriously not bad to use wirelessly in gaming. Wired mode is ideal. Weight feels fantastic, and the cord is protected with a cloth sheath. Mousewheel feels rigid but has very defined steps to it. But when not gaming, I do have to say it's really annoying to use wireless mode. Tasks such as web surfing, doing whatever other smaller less intense task will activate the micro-sleep Consistently. It's really frustrating - so significantly so that I'd say if you want to use this wirelessly for something but gaming, just look for a different mouse. - You can only go up to 2000dpi wirelessly. 4000dpi is only usable wired. - Two side buttons on the side are impossible to use. It's successfully a 5 button mouse developed for each left and ideal-handers. - The mouse can't seriously be employed on carpet mainly because it has teflon feet which have odd diamon-ish shapes and pointed edges that stick to the carpet as you move the mouse - you'll will need your mouse pad or a diverse, smoother surface. The cord is fairly short (less than 2 feet) which is completely fine for laptop users, but not desktop users unless you have a nearby usb hub. In the end I'd say it's an superb mouse. The only problem is the bluetooth micro-sleeps make it impossible to use wirelessly unless you continuously move the mouse such as in a game. Otherwise, stick to wired or get one more mouse.

-High Top quality and Construction.-Good Mouse Cable - Nylon Casing (optional).-Travel Bag with two compartments.-Nice Texture and Really feel.-Smooth Gliding and Under-surface.-Travel Size.-Bluetooth (when you want it)-On the fly precision adjustment. -Yes it's little. It is a mobile mouse soon after all.-Side buttons take some obtaining used to. -I'd personally like a heavier mouse, but I'm weird. I'd say you get what you pay for and this isn't perfect, but it's most likely the greatest mobile bluetooth mouse out there. I'd suggest it more than Microsofts.

Right after reading adds and reviews on this mouse I descided to obtain 1. The first thing I noticed was how properly razer packages their items. I like the braided cable that connects mouse to the computer. I like the really feel of this mouse and the ability to alter sensativity on the fly. I have mine set at 1000, 2000, 3000, & 4000 dpi and can be changed at a push of a button on the fly. This is the very best tracking mouse that I have. Quite responsive and accurate. A small pricey, but is an excellent laser mouse. A small confusing downloading the driver and firmware updates, but I finally got it ideal. I would like to see a cd come with it to make installation a small less complicated.

Extremely comfy style, blue lights look amazing. Seamless transition between wireless and wired is great. Even the USB cable is the highest quality I've ever noticed. Software program wasn't quite helpful/kind of buggy. It won't make adjustments with out becoming plugged into USB and it thinks that the mouse gets disconnected when it doesn't. I've had some difficulties with The X axis and Y axis sensitivity although playing games in Bluetooth mode. I'm playing in a 16ɍ 720p screen, and the X sensitivity seems to be significantly greater than the Y sensitivity. I played about with the settings but didn't want to spend the time to figure it out. Plugging it into USB fixed the problem fully, so I'm not that worried about it. On Bluetooth, internet browsing and regular use is just fine, its only gaming (FPS gaming particularly) exactly where it falls brief. I couldn't bring myself to knock off an egg for the cons due to the fact the mouse is so very good in all of the other respects. Undoubtedly would recommend and would buy again if it broke (not that it will).

The truth that you can use it wireless (bluetooth) or corded is outstanding. I don't do a ton of gaming but like the accuracy when editing photos on my laptop. The button settings and customization is amazing and every little thing was simple to set up. Everything barely fits in the pouch that it comes with but you're not seriously acquiring it for the pouch. It's a wonderful mouse for travel or function with laptops.

This is a awesome mouse. It has outstanding feel, a very good carrying case and a detachable cable. The orochi has broad mouse feet which is also nice. Hopefully you can get replacements if essential. I'm positive right after I configure every thing it will be one more amazing Razer purchase. Installing sw and fw updates pretty effortless. I've used their stuff for a though and it's top class. Bought with a big control soft mat. Newegg ought to also carry the plain black ones this one has green splatter (the mat). Please take into account receiving this mouse despite my 1 egg. The one egg will be described below. Also there is a new manage panel for the razer config and settings. This is a upgrade from the old config that was a lot more obscure and harder to use. This is also a plus. Satisfied overall. Utilizing on win7ultimate 64-bit with iogear dongle gbu421 it all functions fine. Important Discomfort. This freaking wasted so considerably of my time significant pita. You have to depress the 4 side buttons for 5 seconds to get the device to pair and be recognized. This is the only way for it to pair absolutely nothing else will work. Took me hours to figure this out I virtually exploded with frustration. Put a label on the mouse which explains how to do this pairing strategy, not some obscure explanation in the user manual buried in paragraphs and sentences (where I ultimately identified the right answer immediately after hours of dumbfounding driver reinstalls and msconfig/services.msc tinkering). I had so many other factors to do currently instead of d!cking about with this. Now it's nearly 2000 hrs. Argh!! Not positive if I ought to blame myself for this or not most bluetooth devices pair considerably less complicated. Maybe this was some type of engineering requirement to make positive all the other functions work effectively, I have no concept why they would make this so difficult other than it being required for some reason. Can only configure in wired mode. Manufacturer Response:We are sorry you found the pairing method of the Razer Orochi to be so complicated. The procedure is outlined in the Razer Rapid Begin Guide and the Razer Master Guide. Should you misplace your guide they are offered for download at www.razersupport.com/downloads. You can also come across a speedy FAQ regarding the pairing procedure inside our FAQs section at www.razersupport.comhttp://help.razersupport.com/us-en/resolution.asp?sid&pid&pnm=Razer+Orochi&seid&pos=Windows+Vista&top=Bluetooth&ridRazer|Wave

Excelent tracking, modest size, totally configurable buttons, dual mode wired/wireless, crisp scroll wheel, swift sync on startup. Whenever I use the mouse on the wrist rest of my laptop or computer, my laptop will freeze or shut down unexpectedly. Not certain if that's the laptop, or the wireless signal interfering with some thing. Each now and then, it will lose signal for some reason, and commence jumping around sporadicaly, for no apparent reason. Once more, not confident if that's my mouse or the reciever built into the reciever on my personal computer. Overall, it is an excelent mouse. The microsleep absolutely everyone mentioned is not a dilemma for me, as I only have about a second of delay when it goes to sleep. The cord is a small short to reach around the back of my M17x, and the plug sticks out too far for my tastes when it's plugged in on the side i use my mouse on, but that's not really a con.

Bluetooth. Looks extremely cool, and is really effectively built. Dig the magnetic cover for the battery compartment... good touch. Every aspect of it adds to the cool factor - the carry case, the programmable backlights, even the top quality of the usb direct-connect cable (not needed for regular use, btw). Overall, it makes me smile :) Ideal buy I've produced in a although. It's possibly a bit too tiny... I have large hands, although, so I guess it's not that big of a deal. It does fit nicely in my laptop bag, though! Switched from a usb track-ball. I [was] a die-difficult trackball fan, but nobody makes a very good wireless portable trackball. Definately not a bluetooth 1. I was searching for a replacement for my clumbsy dying usb wired trackball when I ran across this. Appreciate it.But...Razer, PLEASE PLEASE make a bluetooth trackball! Sometimes you just can't use a mouse (couchs, chairs, bed, and so on...). Fingers crossed.

High dpi, accurate tracking, fully customizable, portable, bluetooth. Sharp edges, must be plugged in to alter settings, uncomfortable. The mouse has various sharp edges. The two points at the front are razor sharp. So is the entire edge about the leading of the mouse. The areas along the bottom of the mouse exactly where your fingers rest are sharp as well. You genuinely have to hold this factor like a poisonous snake to preserve from becoming bitten by its sharp edges. And you have to plug it in to make any adjustments to its settings, which is a discomfort. I have a MacBook pro with the "high-res" 1680 x 1050 screen. I had to limit the dpi to 1200 to make the mouse usable, even when playing games like Borderlands or DOD Source.I returned the mouse and now I have a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse. I lost some sensitivity (about 200dpi) and gained a dongle, but the mouse is a lot additional comfortable and usable. On the plus side, it had the ideal buttons I've ever clicked on a mouse. The scroll wheel was also magical. Because of that, I think I'll pick up a wired Razer for home use . . . one with no sharp edges.

Definitely wonderful. In all probability the most wonderful mouse in the Razer line-up. Wired and Wireless mode is genius. I love the braided cord but others may possibly not like. Bluetooth works properly for me, I haven't noticed the lag some of the others are mentioning. Razer drivers supply fantastic customization as often. Scroll wheel is excellent. Huge mouse feet offers wonderful manage. Side buttons are truly small. It's not really their fault although, because if they had been larger some people today would complain about accidentally pressing them all the time. Batteries aren't rechargeable (was hoping for a PS3 controller sort battery). The cord is bit complicated to pull off, I'm scared of ripping it if I do it too frequently. As a gamer accustomed to the Logitech G5 mouse, the Orochi feels genuinely smaller and uncomfortable. This surely depends on the player although, so as usually, attempt just before you get. I definitely wish Razer would implement the pulsing DeathAdder Razer logo on all of their mice, its such a stunning feature :)
