I've had this keyboard for pretty much a year now, and never ever had a single dilemma with it! Greatest backlit keys I've ever observed! The keys are NOT loud when typing!!! They have a fantastic feel to them, and are very responsive! I just don't get all of these folks getting issues with it??? I've never once had a issue with the media controller! Works terrific every time! Non at all!!! Folks are taking eggs off there rating for ridicules matters, not associated to the keyboard, and thats not fair to RAZOR!!! The computer software is not needed for this keyboard to run properly (Vista, W7). As posted previously, you only require to use one particular USP plug into your Computer for it to perform.

Good searching and feeling keyboard... the light ONLY lights up the letters on the buttons and not behind them, which is great. Following about three weeks my down arrow broke on the keyboard... and whenever you press it it comes out.. the clips that held it in broke somehow... same occurred with my backspace =/ actually disappointing i think razer will replace the keyboard if i send it in.. i referred to as them about it... but then i wont have a keyboard for a week or so. =/

Nice style, looks good. Extremely nice to type on, and doesn't make a lot of noise. Dedicated USB interface and audio jacks. Touch-sensitive volume, media and brightness controls. The customization software program that comes with the keyboard is amazing. Each and every customizable, which includes macros and profiles.Isn't filled with a bunch of useless junk you will never ever use. Doesn't slide around though gaming. This keyboard is really a pleasure to sort with. The write rest is a small smaller for my large hands. The icons on the keys are virtually unreadable if the keyboard is not lit, and the buttons of the touch-sensitive screen are impossible to see. If you do not want to have the keyboard lit up all the time, and you are not a good touch typer, this is not the keyboard for you.The cord is a small too rigid, making it hard to move it where you like.When lit up, the keys could be a small bit brighter.While I like that it is not humongous and more than-filled with superfluous buttons, I would have liked it to be just a bit a lot more beefy. It appears a small thin and light, and I prefer some thing a bit a lot more solid for my major hands. It could use a second USB connection.Really susceptible to finger prints, but it's seriously not a big deal.Did I mention this keyboard looks really nice? Specially when paired with a nice Razer mouse. A bit additional solid, with a larger wrist rest, and much better lighting, and I would give this five eggs solid.

This is genuinely good keyboard thats straightforward to setup,and has been working Nicely now for one year.Lighted for the late nite Gamer is definately worth added value.SmoothMirror finish for uncomplicated cleaning. Keys Could be a little larger, but what key boards don't.Unrelated but mouse computer software is quirky hence the one star Nice,I hope Razer comtinues to makethis keyboard and Quality products

Enjoy the lighted keys, and the quiet operation. The USB cord is extremely long which for those of us with towers further away this is wonderful. It is comfortable to use. The RAZR software program isnt extremely good, it has caused me some grief, so I just uninstalled it. The keyblocking concern isnt an problem for me, I've yet to come across a scenario where I was blocked from pressing a important.

Wonderful for playing in the dark. In particular FPS, due to the WASD cluster getting able to be lit whilst the rest of the board remains dark.Smooth keys, very good response. Solid construction. Media "keys" could be far more responsive. Keys really feel a small smaller than standard, but I have giant hands, so that may well be part of it. For the money, I kinda wish I had gone with the Zboard Merc. I miss the oversized gaming keys of my original Zboard.

It glows in the dark, has a nice touch to it each so frequently a important function would get stuck or specific keys will not work, to fix this, i gota go unplug the data usb and replug it to have it resume its functions... I though downloading the latest drivers would solve the issue... it didnt....could use some macro keys.... geez I would be playing battlefield 2 or Aion, suddenly my character begin to run toward a random path or spin like crazy..... unplug and replug keyboard gets incredibly annoying....

Fairly accurate. Backlighting looks nice. USB port is a good addition Fairly accurate is not great enough. This keyboard misses keystrokes each so generally and the k key is particularly bad. The media controls rarely perform well at all. The keyboard just has a typically cheep really feel to it. I would not advise this keyboard.

the keyboard looks fantastic an is stylish, plus the functions are excellent on it. i ha it for like a month an a half , an right right after the warranty goes so does the d key. i ha to fin the ALT coe for d just so i coul complain. what goo is a gaming keyboar with out a d? seriously. Not a goo investment from what i can see.

Feels like a nice keyboard, doesn't feel like its a inexpensive plastic toy. Lighting is nicely carried out, not too bright to blind you but nonetheless a lot bright enough to see in a fully lit space. Keys are slightly low-profile. Would extremely suggest to anyone who spends some critical time on a PC or is a gamer. Somehow I accidentally hit the keyboard brightness button at the best suitable each and every when in a although... even though its probably just me. I don't even want to touch it due to the fact it looks so sexy clean, even though shockingly fingerprints don't show up incredibly easily.

the light up keys are cool, I like the flatter buttons Only worked for like 6 months. Touchpad was always annoying and faulty. Buttons gradually stopped working... Dont buy this keyboard, its flashy, but its not worth the trouble.

Looks Great, I like the backlit keys Has a thoughts of it's own!Examples:Playing Rift and all of a sudden strafe left continuously...had to restart game as it assumed I had the Q important pressedRandom keys descided not to function most notibly the Space Bar....had to restartSound Jacks via keyboard....don't workAnd now randomly spams Windows Media PLayer to open...I looked on forums and this was an problem in the past. Looks like it's back once again.I ahve had this keyboard for just more than a week and it's just NOT WORTH IT! It's way too bad...I love the appear of this factor.

Great style. Looks good and feels fantastic The keys are created of a material that will fade away more than time. Some of my keys are worn to the point exactly where you can't read the letter...The media manage failed on me after 3 months.. It just stopped operating.

The feeling of they keyboard is fantastic. Everything tactile is gorgeous, the keyboard itself is really fairly. Notice I've only mentioned the aesthetics here. Keys quit operating randomly ALL THE TIME. Which is not really cool when you're playing any involved video game. The touch pad has a thoughts of it's own. It will commence pressing any touch pad button at random and the only way to cease it is to unplug it. I attempted quite a few factors to remedy these difficulties but none of them worked. The final remedy was sending the keyboard back and getting an additional 1. A new 1... which had all of the very same difficulties as the old one. Save your self some time and get a G15 if you need to have a very good gaming keyboard simply because this 1 will fail you swiftly.

Wonderful response to keystrokes, USB port on the keyboard, good looks None I can think of! I owned the original Lycos until a nasty coke spill and some of my own doing that killed a excellent item. I use my keyboard primarily for function - thousands of keystrokes per day where comfort and precision is a need to. I owned 5 other keyboards before I got a lycosa and never ever looked back due to the fact then. he keyboard is really responsive, the keys have just enough travel to give you assurance that a key was pressed but not far sufficient where it takes effort to switch in between keys when typing rapid. I like it so a lot I decided to re-buy and was torn among the particular edition and the original. Other than looks, the large difference is the rubber coating on the common keyboard which is not present on the mirror edition. The key feel little far more slippery than the original lycosa but it's just a matter of acquiring utilized to it. The high gloss is border lining "gaudy" look but all the other pros make up for a tacky shine. But no matter which lycosa you choose - rest assured they all are wonderful!

Excellent good quality item. Will last a lengthy time even for the most heavy gaming. Bright LED's. Fantastic key detaching style for straightforward cleaning. Dirty! It shows a lot of dust, dirt, and fingerprints but it comes with the nice cloth for cleaning so not genuinely a dilemma. Not enough for an egg removal. If you don't want the shiny aspect of the device they make a flat black version as well. 3rd one I have purchased. I like this keyboard.

This unit is amazing I have by no means has any difficulties with it and the back-lit keys are very bright and easy to use in the dark. The mirror finish means it gets dirty pretty very easily. I just use some monitor wipes to clean it up. Enjoy this product!

Looks cool, backlighting is exceptional............................... every thing, Why would people today continue to sell a item that fails so very easily. lately puchased this for my son. Then one day the D important stops operating. that is the key necessary to play all very first person shooters. So I contsacted consumer service.................yeah right what consumer service. I am glad I puchased my saitek eclipse II, I purchased this retail not via newegg. sorry but I actually got mine less costly.

got a no cost decal sticker out of it plugged it in, and absolutely nothing!!!!, wait no, it crashed my computer system then absolutely nothing! i installed the drivers each from the CD and their web site but there is still no response. im typing this out on my old keyboard now. Believed i'd get in touch with customer support...what consumer support? there isn't even a section on their site for product support? nope! just a redirect to their faqs page. YAY! i know know what ghosting is and culster lighting, thanks Razer!My 1st Razer obtain...and my last.i prefer to invest funds on products that do far more than just light up. and with no consumer support to back up their product the stupid board is useless. Save your self the trouble and don't buy Razer!

I adore this keyboard. I got it for my B-Day. The lights are awsome and they turn off by touch it's awsome. You can program the keys which is a nice touch. And I really like how you can turn the lights totaly off although watching movies or whatever at night. hmm properly it wasn't free......not actually a con....fingerprints.....to dark in my compy room to actually care about that though lol Nicely most ppl who get this will either figure it out or know directly but the programing thing was a little weird for me....I've yet to play with it sufficient to figure that totaly out (and I'm one of those ppl who don't read the directions trigger I remember superior if I don't {no I'm not a guy}hehehe)Overall I adore this product it's awsome, and I had no issue switching from my long loved erg. keyboard.

Backlit, Sturdy, Excellent keythrow, I love the multimedia touch controls, The "wasd" cluster has it's own lighting option (great for low light gaming), Rubberized key coating. Not really a con, but the Lock indicator led's (ie: scroll lock, caps lock and, num lock) are Extremely bright. Acquire this keyboard, if you can afford it!

Finish is easy to clean and being able to lastly disable the windows important is fantastic. Following two weeks of moderate use the keys have started squeaking.

incredibly nice color and glossy finish. DoA-quite a few of the keys did not function, even when i attempted to download drivers from Razer's website.
